Wish i saw this site sooner. consoleshop is a total scam. order 4 parts on 4th of nov...its now jan...and after 5 emails still no help. horrible idea, go somewhere else

Company takes orders and doesn't ship product. Read ripoff report.com. Please avoid the headaches I have had with this company. They are overseas, don't list a telephone # and won't answer emails. They take money from your account and don't ship the product. Search for ConsoleShop AKA modchip and read for yourself!

They take people's money and hold it for as long as they can possibly get away with.  
Usually until the purchaser threatens legal action, then they refund the money.  
 
They apparently make use of the money for interest earnings and other business dealings.  
 
They are operating outside of the U.S.  
Apparently in Austria or Monaco (or both), so they're difficult to prosecute, though it appears that Mastercard may be working on it.  
 
 
In an attempt to maintain a legitimate business appearance, they do deliver on certain easier-to-find items, though don't count on it being exactly what you ordered and don't count on getting it any time soon.  
 
If you ordered a rare item, you can pretty much rest assured that it will never arrive.  
 
They pretty much never answer E-mails and if they do, the message will usually consist of lies regarding the status of your order, sent with the intention of buying themselves more time.  
 
 
Their primary hope seems to be that you will just give up and move on, and it looks like many people actually do exactly that.  
 
If you already ordered from them, don't give up!  
Get you money back then urge your credit card company to prosecute these scammers.

Rip off scam, it has been 30 days since my order and money taken. No response with email, filed a report on ripoff report.com. Company cannot be contacted, no phone, that tells you something. Do Not order from this company.

I received confirmation of my order but never did receive confirmation of email. So far I have sent 2 emails and almost a month later have still not received anything. I only kick myself in the button for not reading resellerratings for this company earlier. I will now more than likely have to fill out a fraud report and have bank reverse charges.

Bought a couple of things on August 28th, 1 month later still nothing. I get an email saying the lost track of the item and blame it on the shipping copmany. They said they'll look into it and get back to me in a couple of days. Two weeks later still nothing. I'm still trying to get a charge back for this. Don't waste your time with this company. Poor customer service, slow to ship and false run arounds.

I ordered on 6 September. I have sent 4 letters from web form. No replay, no money, no goods!

It is true that shipping takes longer than the stated 3-6 business days. Mine arrived after 11 business days.  
 
I was shipped a defective product and I cannot get anyone at consoleshop.com to reply to my email asking for a return address. Even if I can get a return address, the exchange policy states that if they determine the product is not defective, I would be charged shipping for the exact same product to be returned to me even though I've personally determined the product does not work.  
 
I wish I had consulted these reviews before my purchase. I will never do business this "company" again.

I ordered a xfps from them on may 30th. It is now June 16th. I have written them 3 emails asking for a status on my order. I still have not heard from them. At this point I think I've been ripped off. Beware!!! Dont shop here.

ive been waiting for my order since april 14,its now may 8. 25 days since my email conformation, i recieved something in the mail, but it was only one item, not only that its not even what ive ordered. ive sent them numerous emails about an update on my items and they only got back to me once. if your thinking about buying from consoleshop.com or Modchip.com. do yourself a favor and shop else where

Worst people to do business with. I ordered items April 23rd. Supposedly it was shipped the 23rd also. It's May 2nd. They say it's "already been shipped," however I have not received a tracking number, I didn't receive an email from them until I told them I would cancel the payment. They are unresponsive and make false promises with their 3-8 day shipping promise. I will definitely avoid them in the future and their partners modchip.com

Ordered on March 19 and today is April 10 and I still have not received my order as of yet. Shipping was stated to take 3 to 6 days and today marks 22 days. I e-mail them 3 times about it, the e-mails were sent by me on april 3,4 and 5 and today I heard from them only a week after my 1st e-mail.

If you like no customer service and false shipping times promised... This is the place for you.

This company is totally non responsive after the sale. They are offshore (Morocco) and do not publish a customer service phone number. The online order and credit card processing happens immediately. The order is supposed to arrive from 3-6 business days via USPS. Alternate express shipping via UPS is "available". I have not received the order as of 2/7, nor have I received any email replies to my inquiries. I don't know if the product was back ordered or if it was shipped and lost or if the company is just a scam ripoff joint. I am debating on canceling the credit card transaction. Others have reported similar experiences but some have reported receiving their orders.
