"I have dealt with this site for years. I have always gotten quick shipping and excellent service. John always took good care of me, and I was under the impression this site was mainly his venture. To read that he is no longer with the company explains some things, but not why they are still accepting orders and money. I ordered 3 copies of Windows 7 OEM the first of this last March. I mistakenly chose snail mail, so I had no tracking info. I was skeptical when I tried to call to modify the order and got no reply. After 37 days, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, who took a month to look into it and just reversed the charges. If you are still "waiting for an order", stop waiting, and contact your CC co. It makes me sad, as their prices were nearly unbeatable and service was good. I am mad they have essentially ceased operations but have neglected to turn the website off and keep collecting people's money for orders they seem to have no intention of filling. For that, they need to answer to authorities."
"I am still waiting for the (4) Acrobat media I ordered back in Nov 8, 2012. I sent a follow-up email but received this reply: "John is no longer with Computersworth. He left rather abruptly so we are going through all of the orders so that we can take care of our customers / vendors. Thanks for your patience." I don't know what my remedy is to recover the $400 they took from me. The authorities should shutdown this company and place the owners behind bars. DO NOT ever make a mistake of ordering from this company.Ross R. (New Jersey)"
"I ordered anti-virus software on January 14, 2013. Their response said the download information would be available in 24-48 hours. To date (January 25)the order has not been filled. Telephone messages left on their company number have not been returned. I have also not received a reply to emails sent to their published email addresses. And or yes, they have my money. I do not recommend doing business with this company. "
"Ordered Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business on Monday and received on Wednesday!! Fast shipping and saved me over 100.00 on this program!! I will shop again with them."
"Damaged Disk, No Response - Stay Away!! It looked like I was ordering a factory-sealed software package. What arrived was a legit-looking disk in a plain white disk sleeve, except that it had holes on the memory side and, naturally, didn't work. I emailed Computer's Worth with pictures - no response. I initiated a dispute through my credit card - no response. "
"Product never received, money lost! It's been more than 20 days since I bought Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade (retail), paid $99.00 for it through Credit Card, but until today I did not receive the product. Order (num. 51980) status is "In Progress", meaning… product not yet shipped!!! I have never received any e-mail response from Computers Worth guys, not even from John, first I started asking about the unexpected delay in my order and now I’m asking for refund (without success). This is not my first order with them, I’m just wondering what went wrong this time, maybe they are sinking and taking our money down with them, so think twice before buying with this reseller from now on."
"I have a bad experience with this vendor. Not only was my product delivered late (4 days after order, rather than 24-48 hours as advertised, but ComputersWorthless sold me software incompatible with my OS, and there was no mention on their site that it would not work with my 64bit system. When I called "John" for help, I was put on hold twice for over 10 minutes each time, then was basically told it was my fault for ordering the wrong product and there would be no refund or credit. Contrary to the positive reviews on pricegrabber about "John", he was defensive, rude, arrogant, unsympathetic, and very slow to respond to my follow-up emails. He finally just stopped responding to me altogether. Maybe I caught this guy on a bad day, but I know if I treated my customers like this I would be out of business! I am out $15 plus tax with unusable software, which I will probably just give to a friend with a 32 bit machine. It is hard to believe they would risk a bad review over a $15 product.AVOID this place. They suck."
"I order tens of thousands of dollars of software from Computersworth every year and have yet to be dissatisfied with them in any way. They are extremely customer oriented, provide great prices, prompt service, and never have had an issue with their products. Shipping is always reasonably priced and fast. The staff is very personable.I occasionally ask pricing for budgeting for a specific project, but never ask pricing when I place orders because I know that I'm being treated fairly.I have used this company for years, and look forward to continuing with them for many years to come."
"This is a great reseller. I have bought two times and items were received before promised date. I will order again."
"After reading the good comments about this at other review sites about this company I purchased a Microsoft XP home edition OEM SP2 Operating System. The shipping was very fast almost next day via USPS. I went to install the new OS and there is a problem with the CD, it is defective because it cannot finish the OS install. Since this is my testing of software PC I have installed Microsoft 2000, and Microsoft XP Pro on this machine without issue.I contacted them be email John@computersworth.com and I asked for a replacement and an RMA numer and return shipping address. John stated in his return email it is not an issue with the software but with my hardware. I stated to him that I do not have an hardware issue because I proved this in my emails to him that my PC can install win 2000 and win XP Pro on my machine without. I double checked this even after I tried installing the defective cd he sent. This proved that there is not a hardware issue. Even the microsoft link I sent to him proved this. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812247So I sent an email yesterday at 2:30 pm CST again asking for a replacement CD again and a shipping address and RMA number to send the defective CD back. As of today at 1:33 CST I have not recieved a response and when I call their 1-800 number all the phone does is ring with no answer. I am begining to think this guy is not reputable. I am giving him until the close of businsess today, 5:30 pm CST to resolve this issue or I am disputing the Credit Card charge. I wish I had read the reviews here about the credit card number security, I would have never have ordered from them if I knew this occured.I will post an update as to what the bussiness response is or if I get one.To be continued...=========================================Ok - just recieved an email from the companies contact email email@example.com. They will honor my request for sending out another CD for Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and I can send the defective one back to the return address on the shipping package they sent. They stated that their phones are down due to construction on the road outside their office.I feel better that at least they are agreeing to allowing me to exchange the software for another one. This is a sign of a good business practice.Update...John sent me a replacement CD, although had many very small scratches on it, I was expecting a new condition CD, in the same opened packaging that the original was shipped back in. Luckly the same COA worked for this replacemnt CD and I was able to install the MS XP Home Edition Software. If I wasn't in the IT field this would have a big nightmare. I had to prove to John that the CD was defective before he agreed to replace the mechandise which I was able to do because of my work background. I don't think the average consumer would have been able to prove this nor should they have had to be required to do so. I will not be buying anything from Computersworth in the future because of this. "

"Good prices, nice customer service, but very slow to let you know an item is back ordered. If you are in NO rush to recieve your software, then I would reccomend this company."
"Ordered Ghost 9 on the phone besides some other apps. Got Ghost 2003. Called them up, very apologetic and sent the right disk via 2nd day. Included a prepaid UPS label to send the wrong disk back. Dealt with them before and this was the first problem."
"Great prices, great service fast shipping. However, website does not tell you if item is in stock."
"I have always had a great buying experience from Computers Worth. They are fast, offer low-pricing, have recent and legitimate products, and good customer service. I have only had to call twice on a problem with an order (I have ordered probably 10 times through them), and both times the problem was resolved quickly and effortlessly."
