Their customer service is excellent and they do what it takes to get the customer satisfied! I purchased a laptop from them last month and it arrived damaged due to rough handling by UPS. They provided me a return label right away and shipped out a replacement as soon as they were able to inspect and put a new custom laptop together. I also want to add they upgraded my shipping at no additional cost to help insure the package would arrive on the one day of the week UPS delivers that I have off. They did this for both the original shipment as well as the replacement. It would have been more covenient if I could have had it shipped to my workplace instead, but I understand that there is a lot of fraud going on when dealing with high dollar items such as laptops and they are only protecting themselves.<br><br>Turn around time seems to be about a couple business days from when they receive the order plus shipping time. Very reasonable. I did a lot of searching online and no one does custom laptops as fast or as affordably as this company does.<br><br>Bottomline, a very classy company! I got a 3 pound ASUS U24E and it is so fast it can boot in less than 10 seconds, shut down in less than 7 seconds and it can render video and extract massive rar files twice as fast as my desktop that has AMD quad. I don\u0027t know how these guys sell a 3 pound laptop that is so fast. Maybe its the i7 quad core processor and the SSD drive but its amazing how much power can come from such a small laptop. As far as their service goes, its fantastic. We are talking shipping same day, the laptop delivered in 2, and when I wrote message to them about how to turbo boost they replied straight away in less than an hour with actual helpful educated advice. Period.<br><br>To make a long story short, I tried dealing with Lenovo directly first, and then after several failed attempts, and nearly a month of various manufacturing delays (excuses) on their side to build and ship a customized-to-order laptop, I gave up and went to Computer Upgrade Kings. <br><br>Not only were they able to build a customized laptop, but they were able to build it in one day and send it out for next day delivery. In fact, they were able to build it and ship it at a lower cost than Lenovo did.<br><br>What even further added to the experience was that they spoke english clearly and had a can-do attitude. The hardware is fantastic, I\u0027m really pleased with it. Just done my routine wipe, format, partition and MemTest and everything seems to be in perfect order.<br><br>Absolutely stellar service from the guys handling the email, very prompt and polite and always keeping me up to date. 5-star service. Even after shipping and duty the total order was still several hundred dollars cheaper than local deals, and that even includes IT fairs.<br><br>It may be a while before I need to get a new laptop, but when I do I\u0027ll be checking these guys out first. "I ordered a Lenovo Y500 with GT 650m dual SLI. I had upgraded the RAM to 16 gb, and replaced the 1 TB 5400 rpm HHD with a 240 GB SSD.
I did 2 day air shipping and also paid $5 for rushing the job. I ordered on a Monday, it shipped out on Tuesday, received my laptop on a Thursday. It arrived to me via UPS without a problem. They ship it to you with the laptop in it's original box - my laptop being suspended by 2 solid styrofoam pieces to secure it in the box, then that box is placed in a larger box which is packed with styrofoam popcorn pieces - about 2-3 inches of the styrofoam around the whole box. It works well enough for protection for shipping - my laptop came to me in pristine condition as if I picked it up myself out of a store.
Now to the actual laptop. I absolutely love it! I'm so glad I did it with Computerupgradeking because as part of their policy they will inspect it to make sure it's in perfect condition, and in perfect condition it is. The laptop runs flawlessly and does everything that I want it to do. I'm mainly going to use this laptop for school work and some gaming on the side (League of Legends, Minecraft, Maplestory, etc).
Out of all the upgrades I did, I tried to calculate how much it would cost for me to buy the individual parts myself (the 8 GB ram extra, and SSD) and for how much CUGK charges for the parts, I found it cheaper to do it through them then doing it by myself. Not to mention that they do the labor of putting it all together for me instead of me possibly breaking my laptop myself.
I'm completely happy with my purchase from CUGK, how it was handled (though there wasn't much interaction bw me and them verbally), and how it was shipped to me in a timely manner and safely..
10/10 would order from them again :)

10/10 for prices on their laptops and how much it costs to customize them - you really can't find any other prices to match theirs for the price of the laptop with customizations. "
