The merchant did not have the item I needed in stock. They notified me by email within 24 hours of the stock shortage and let me know how long it would be before they received stock. I had to find a solution for our godchildren who had 2 laptops but needed to share the same external modem. The solution was to us a simple switch box. I ordered the monitor extension with a male to male adapter to connect my PC to my HDTV. Worked like a charm and cost between 50$ and 100$ less than everywhere else I looked. I mean quality was not an issue with the product, it is the same high quality product at better cost.
