The computer arrived in excellent condition. I installed Ubuntu Linux on it; I had a little trouble getting Ubuntu to install properly and ended up enabling boot option "Legacy ROM" rather than "EFI compatible ROM". With that change, Ubuntu installed properly. The computer has been working perfectly for over a month now. I chose the configuration I thought would be best, and then called in to discuss. Elena was extremely helpful, making recommendations, and ensuring all components worked together (one of my choices didn't), some of her suggestions even saved me money in a given area. When PC arrived on date expected, the blueray player didn't work. I called tech support, and the gentleman immediately diagnosed the problem to loose cable, which can happen in transit. They sent my computer very fast and it was packed very good so as not to let the computer get damaged. An issue of 1 wire to a fan had slipped off during shipping and a call to Edward with his help and I got it running in just a couple of minutes. He also made sure that the over clocking was working right and the bios was where it was suppose to be. After I installed my HDD, RAM, and optical drive on the new computer I started having USB problems. I contacted tech support for ComputerLX and was unable to speak to a live rep due to high call volume but was able to leave a message. I received a replacement USB card from the manufacturer of the case at the request of ComputerLX but continued to have USB problems. Eventually usb stopped working completely and had no mouse or keyboard use. I contacted mother board manufacturer who said mobo needed to be replaced. Emailed ComputerLX and asked them to call me due to continued problems with computer and possible need to replace mobo. They paid for shipping back to their facility and got everything working again. In my experience communication with tech support was difficult but once they finally called the tech was friendly and the problem was resolved after I shipped the computer back to them with all my stuff installed on it. Computer was returned in about a week and works perfect. Although I initially has hardware problems and communication with tech support took time, the experience was ultimately very satisfying and I would definitely order another computer from ComputerLX. I couldn't find a cheaper price online and the staff was friendly. I ordered a custom desktop online, and the next day a representative from ComputerLX called me to review my configuration. Once everything was good, my computer was built and shipped a couple of days later. It looked awesome when I pulled it out of the box. I turned it on and installed a Linux OS and got all of my software installed and working, and my computer runs great and is very fast.
