"I placed my order with comp-u-plus on December 7th. I bought headphones that I intended to give my best friend on Christmas. My order still has not arrived.
I paid for ground shipping, so I expected the delivery to take a week or so. However, 2 weeks later, I contacted customer service by phone. On December 23rd I was informed that my package hadn't even been shipped yet. I was then told my package would be shipped overnight at no additional cost and would arrive the next day, Christmas Eve. I was told I would receive a tracking number that evening. Although disappointed, I was pleased with their seeming willingness to make amends.
I did not receive a tracking number. Instead, I received an email informing me that my credit card has been charged. I consider myself an understanding man, but this just felt like a slap in the face.
I called again early on the morning of Christmas Eve to request my tracking number and to confirm that my package would arrive that day. I was assured that I would receive my tracking number very soon by email and that my package would arrive that day. I took their word for it.
My order did not arrive that day. I did not have a gift to give my best friend on Christmas day. I still have not received a tracking number or been contacted.
Though I see others have had different experiences, the service comp-u-plus has provided me is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with comp-u-plus."
"First of let me say that I have ordered quite a few things from Compuplus over the years and I've always got what I ordered, and in a timely manner. I cannot fault them on that. I can however fault them on their customer service, or to be more precise, complete absence of it.
I ordered a GPS device from them and before my credit card was charged I decided to cancel it. I phoned the company many times over a day and their customer service number was always busy. I also sent them several emails which received no reply. So now a day later I receive a notification that the item has shipped. I am not happy.
BTW, if your name is Becky Galan, Director of Customer Service for Compuplus, I want your job. It seems to comprise of coming in at 10am every morning, knocking the phone off the hook, and leaving for the rest of the day. What a life!"

"Comp-U-Plus had the best prices on a memory stick and battery for my digital camera, but their ridiculous shipping costs largely offset this advantage. Nevertheless, they still offered the best overall deal, and at least they used 2nd-day shipping. So I placed an order on a Friday. According to the web site, the order should have shipped by Tuesday at the latest, and I should have received my items on Thursday, in time for family visiting from out of town.
When I got an e-mail on Sunday morning saying my credit card was charged, I thought, "Great! My order will ship Monday, and I'll get it by Wednesday." However, on Wednesday, the web site still did not show a tracking number, so I e-mailed Comp-U-Plus. A few hours later, I received a shipping notice. Apparently, they had sat on my order for three days. To their credit, they sent it using next-day service to compensate for their mistake. Unfortunately, UPS screwed up, and I didn't get my order until Friday, a day too late.
OK, mistakes happen. I understand that. But I paid over $22 for 2nd-day service to ship two lightweight items, and I essentially didn't receive that service. They screwed up and sat on my order for three days, forcing me to spend another $50 to buy a memory stick locally. So I asked them to refund the shipping charges. Their reply stated that I placed my order too late on Friday, so they didn't receive and process my order until Monday. So when it shipped on Wednesday, it was within the 48-hour processing time stated on the web site.
Now, if they hadn't started processing my order until Monday, then why did I get an e-mail sent early Sunday morning stating they had charged my card and that "my order will be shipped promptly"? And why did they eventually send it using next-day air if they hadn't made a mistake? I pointed this out to them, noting that my card had been indeed charged on Sunday, and asked again that they refund the shipping charges. I have yet to receive a reply. Gee, what a surprise. They suck. What's especially irksome is that because UPS screwed up and didn't deliver the package on time, Comp-U-Plus won't have to pay them for shipping my order. "
"Found a great price on two 40Gb HDD on 4/5/04 at about 8:00p.m. I was a little unhappy about the limited shipping options (2nd day air only)but since this purchase was for my daughter's birthday in 7 days, I would have chosen this method anyway.
After accepting my order and posting a debit against my card account (within 2 minutes)they sent an acknowledgement email which noted that their entire operation was shut down for 9 days and my order would not be shipped (2nd day air, of course) until 4/14/04!
I immediately followed their email links to their customer service web page where I cancelled the order. Total time transpired from order to cancellation: less than 4 minutes.
As of this morning 4/6/04 @ 12:00noon my card account has yet to be credited and there is nothing but a recording on their customer "service" number telling me that there's no one there until next week.
I researched this company before placing an order and found they had received very good feedback. I want to believe that their webmaster is just incredibly stupid for not placing a pop-up on the order page about the delays. Time will tell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update: The debit to my account was cleared after posting hours at my bank the following Friday April 9. Only took 2 minutes to debit my account and5 days to credit it. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I'd never buy from them online again. Maybe by phone so I can verify the ship dates. . . ."

"Very fast service. I ordered my product on Monday and recieved it on Thursday via UPS Ground. In fact they sent me the traking number after the package had arived at my shipping address. The product came in as promised, brand new for the same price as some merchants had the product refurbished. Only my first order with this merchant but definately would order from them again in the future."
"This seller is horrible. I ordered a Wacom CINTIQ12WX Cintiq 12" Pen Display, which I received for $891.94 with ground shipping. When I received it, the packaging looked like it has been repackaged (torn tape on plastic bags, bags looked stretched open and then put back together). I set it up anyway, and as soon as I turned on the monitor I could see 4 or 5 permanently dead or bright pixels, and there were a few more that were tentatively messed up. If this was a brand new product, it would not have that many issues. I have used Wacom products for 8 years, and have never had problems with their products-ever. This is definitely a Comp-U-Plus problem. This is a RESOLD product, and it should be labelled as that- NOT NEW. WORSE is that when I called them to return it, they didn't apologize for their faulty product, AND THEY WOULDN'T PAY FOR SHIPPING IT BACK TO THEM---that comes out of my pocket. Not only that, they refunded me back 15 dollars less than I actually spent, because they were only refunding back their current selling price (which conveniently for them only went on sale the day they received my return). So I am out the $15 + $20 shipping cost, and I have no product to show for it, and no apologies, wasted my time, and they haven't responded to my email questions. Bottom line is that COMP-U-PLUS is THIEVISH, UNRELIABLE, and UNTRUSTWORTHY."

Compuplus is not honest that doing bussiness like this. there fail the promised to me that there should shipped it today. i hate those online store that charged my credit card but didnt shipped my item. i will never deal with this dishonest company anymore."

"Excellent company. fast shipping even right before christmas. ordered on the 12th and arrived on the 17th. I ordered a Creative Zen Touch for $233! they have the best prices around. along with great seller-buyer communication. Every email i sent them, got replied to within two days with a a human response."
"Ordered an unlocked Motorola V600 cell phone, got confirmation of the order same day, next day it was shipped and received on time. I am mystified as to why others have problems with their shipments when mine went so smoothly. Shipping cost was a bit high, but there was no tax. I have nothing but good things to say.
EDIT - The return policy for this company is non exsistant. I had a minor problem with my v600 and they referred me to motorola for help. What a shame."

I will never order from Comp-U-Plus again. I ordered a GSM Smartphone from them when I should have ordered a CDMA. I didn't figure it out until it was charged. I should pay *something* for my mistake, right?
I requested either a return-for-refund or return-for-credit, after a restocking fee. Nope!
The customer "service" perople kept coming back to , "...our web page CLEARLY states, blah-blah." About the CDMA/GSM issue.
In fairness, the verbiage was there, but in about 6-point font.
In the end, I sold it for the purchase price on Craig's List, in about four hours. I should have started there.
Now, Comp-U-Plus doesn't have to pretend to offer service-after-sale anymore, where I am concerned.
I wasted a couple of weeks trying to reach someone who would at least evaluate my situation on its merits - - nothing.
Before you order, go to their web page, to the "contact/about us areas. Test your ability to escalate to another level of the company.
You can even try searching for corporate info on the web. A company that is this invisible must have a reason. *Not* providing service is clearly part of their business plan."
