"I ordered a 8x DVD Player, 30 Gig Hard Drive & a 60 Gig Hard Drive from Comp-Recycle. When they arrived via C.O.D., the 30 gig hard drive worked for about 3 days. The 60gig hard drive was actually a 76.8 gig drive, it did not work at all and the 8x DVD Player works as a cdrom drive only. I sent numerous emails to them with no response. On a previous order the 900mhz Athlon CPU's were DOA. I have two friends who items that were ordered from this company where inoperable when they arrived. This company refuses to respone to emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BY ALL MEANS "

"I too was screwed. Bought 2 hard drives for my laptop. DOA. No help whatsover from the crooks at Comp-Recyclers. I should have read about them on this web site. They bagged me for $30. I guess I'm one of those born every minute. I hope someone else will see this before buying from this scammer. "

"I found your site too late. Ordered 4 hard drives and a motherboard - $130.00+. Of course, they were DOA. The hard drives had labels over the burnt chips. Took me a few days (and much frustration) to find the problem. Of course, I could not contact Comp-Recycle by e-mail or phone. I have submitted complaints to USPS and FCC, but don't expect anything to happen - after all, this has been going on since 1998! I notice that the website is "having technical difficulty"...I can only hope it's of the legal, criminal kind!"
