"This store resolved my issues after being notified by ResellerRatings.com. The store called me and offered me total reimbursement for the returned product and stated they were under new management trying to make all transactions right for every customer. Thanks...wayne"

BJC, Comp-Recyclers rep has responded

“This is all incorrect. We have mailed money to this person and hope to receive product. We were solicited by this seller. We did not initiate any contact whatsoever. They kept emailing asking us to send money and dropping prices. I don't know why he would do us like this. Anyone wanting a transcript of the conversations between the seller and me for proof, please just ask.”

"I ordered a 8x DVD Player, 30 Gig Hard Drive & a 60 Gig Hard Drive from Comp-Recycle. When they arrived via C.O.D., the 30 gig hard drive worked for about 3 days. The 60gig hard drive was actually a 76.8 gig drive, it did not work at all and the 8x DVD Player works as a cdrom drive only. I sent numerous emails to them with no response. On a previous order the 900mhz Athlon CPU's were DOA. I have two friends who items that were ordered from this company where inoperable when they arrived. This company refuses to respone to emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BY ALL MEANS "

"i won't tell you who i am, but i have been complaining that i knew what was going on since 1995 and no one wANTED TO BELIEVE ME. THE PEOPLE HE IS INVOLVED WITH ARE SCAM ARTIST AND HE FAILS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR EXSISTANCE. I HAVE BEEN IGNORED AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN CAUGHT UNTIL NOW. IF THEY WOULD HAVE LISTENED TO ME INSTEAD OF THEM THIS WOULD OF NEVER GOTTEN THIS FAR. THEY ARE BLACKMAIL ARTIST, AND THEIR NAMES ARE DON WILHELMUS. DEBRA SMITH, JOE PERRY, KAREN AND SHARON MORRIS, AND TOM b. X-P.I. THAT GOT HIS P.I. LICENSE FOR THE SAKE OF SCAMMING. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE IRS/CID FBI,. AND TO THE PPD NUMUROUS TIMES, AND I THINK THEY FINALLY BELIEVE ME AFTER 8 YEARS,. GOOD LUCK TO US ALL."

"Ordered a Soyo motherboard online at his site.
Recieved a Dead Chaintech in turn.
Please people do Not do bussiness with this individual.
I have seen posts via Google that date back to 2001.
I used search inquiry=Comp-Recycle
Would have been good had I of done so before the transaction.

"Ordered powersupply, unit arrived DOA, Paid COD, returned untin and never heard from them again. No responce from e-mail as well. Company is a total rip off. Buyer Beware"

"OMFG, I can't believe these guys are still in business. Their web site still works, even after five years of complaints posted here. It seems to be mostly a fairly active auction site now, but they still have a store linked to it. Their stock features a lot of junk and other random obsolete stuff, and, while it has some dead links (mostly pictures), appears to be mostly functional. They only take personal checks and USPS COD. There is a phone number listed, different number than the disconnected one, but same area code. The e-mail is a hotmail address. I can't believe somebody hasn't shut them down, or that they haven't changed names/websites at least. I mean, they have been ripping off people for more than five years now, judging from the comments here.

"A complete scam. We ordered a replacement power supply and received the wrong one and the wrong one was even DOA. He has not responded to any atempts at contace whatsover.

Stay clear of this fraudulant site."
