"Ordered a bucket of 22LR ammo, with the understanding that ammunition supply is tight and there would most likely be a back-order. This was on June 3, 2013. The email I received after ordering said 0-8 week back order. Today is November 29, 2013. Effectively six months. I have received no communication from Code 3 Tactical regarding this order unless it has been in response to my emails to them. What a pitiful company. I recommend that no one do business with these people. "

If there had been some way possible to get this from the manufacturer we would have months ago, however the item you ordered is the most backordered ammunition item in the nation right now and the manufacturer is many months behind in processing dealer orders.Although you don't remember receiving any emails from us, I show we communicated several times back and forth and have answered you anytime you have contacted us. I'm showing in August we emailed you advising of the extended backorder and strongly suggested you look at local retailers and even named a business in your area that might have the product in stock. We even gave you information about canceling and reminded you that your card was never charged and that there was no restocking or cancellation fees. You even emailed us back and thanked us for the information we provided and said "...so I will hold on to this order and wait it out."I'm sorry for your frustration.”

"I placed an order August 30, 2013 for some ammo which came to over $379. When I received my CC statement I saw that I was billed immediately. I never received the product. I informed Code 3 that I was going to cancel the order and that I alerted my CC company, which I did. I received a notice from Code 3 that they would issue me a check, which they did. When I questioned as to why they didn't just cancel the CC Payment they said that this is the way they handle refunds. I thought ok and recived a check in a few days. I deposited the check and just received a STOP PAYMENT notice. As you will notice Code 3 response they say I attempted to get both refunds. I advised them on the day I wrote that I would be contacting the CC Company. The charge on the account is only in the dispute stage until today after seeing their response. A hold is different than a credit. WATCH THEM CAREFULLY. I will report my legal findings."
“When you placed your order you were advised the product was on a 8 week backorder and you selected the box requesting to be charged at time of order. When you canceled your order a refund check was immediately issued, however you also contacted your bank for a credit. You were already credited to your credit card. You then also attempted to cash the refund check after you already received a credit to your bank account.”
"I purchased some ProMag Magazines from Code 3 Tactical. I chose Code 3 because they had the best prices I could find on the item I wanted. Once the item was in stock it was shipped quickly and arrived in less that a week. My only issue with the purchase was that I would have liked some more communication from the company. The item was back-ordered, unfortunately it took about 5 months to get the item in stock (not Code 3's fault.) I had actually forgotten about the order until I received an e-mail stating that the item was back in stock but that my order had been canceled. The reason, my credit card info was no longer on file. They must purge this data after a period on time (a good thing in my mind.) I actually had to place a new order. I would have liked to have had some communication from the company in the interim. Letting me know that they were working to fulfill my order, or that they were purging my credit card info, something. "
