You pay for USPS First Class or Priority but they ship Media Mail (which is illegal), so it takes weeks to be delivered. When I called them up to ask why I paid USPS First Class prices for Media Mail shipping, they told me I had in fact, chose Media Mail. This is patently false and no where on their website does it claim they ship Media Mail. They assured me that my glasses had been shipped on 1\/19, and that I would indeed receive them in 3 to 5 days. I was also supplied with a tracking number, which, curiously, did not work.<br><br>I found out today that they outright LIED to me. My glasses were not shipped until today, 1\/24, a full five days AFTER they said they shipped. This means my glasses will not reach me until next week. It was taking a long time so I figured give Coastalcontacts and their first pair free a try. The glasses came in 7 days and look nice, just like the picture, and my prescription is spot on. The only down side is that the bottom of the left lens was left unpolished on the bottom edge right in the middle. It looks like a white fuzzy spot on the bottom edge of the lense, because the plastic has been sanded along the edge but not polished like the surrounding plastic, so a noticeable white spot is apparent along the edge. It\u0027s slightly jagged and so tears bits of micro fibre cloth off if you make the mistake of rubbing the unpolished section when wiping the lenses off. If it wasn\u0027t for that small quality control problem I would have been very happy with my order. Admittedly the pair was free and I only did coatings and shipping so 20$ is way cheaper than I could get these for again from this site. <br><br>Even though the shipping was faster, once my Zennioptical order arrived I was glad I had ordered from both. At least the Zenni pairs(I ordered 2 from them since no discount code was needed to keep it cheap) came properly polished so there were no funny looking defects making people wonder if I ever cleaned my glasses. The quality of the frames seemed equivalent, and the lenses from Zenni were slightly thinner due to their free option of 1.57 index lenses. The anti reflective coating on the pair from Coastalcontacts has a green tint to it, vs a purple tint to reflections on the Zenni anti reflective coating. A good company that just needs a bit more quality control for the prices their asking in comparison to their competitors.<br><br>Edit 1: I contacted their customer service concerning the polishing defect on the lens, and they offered to reimburse the cost of having the lens polished professionally at a local establishment. The message came three days after the complaint, but the website stated I would receive a reply in 24 hours or less. We had a promo code for free glasses but upgraded to the polycarbonite lense so the total was $26 including shipping. Glasses came in a nice hard case with a cleaning cloth. The glasses are very high quality and the pair we chose had spring hinges - a nice bonus. "Order received in 7 business days via DHL/USPS shipping from WA to CA, not media mail as someone mentioned. Unfortunately they charge $10 for shipping even for domestic orders. It'd be cheaper and faster if they shipped domestic orders USPS first class. It took a few days for the delivery confirmation number to work on the USPS tracking site. Overall I'm satisfied with my order."
