so you can give them a fraud rating right after
you order better yet if you should get in your
car with your ps2 and geton the highway
hit 80 miles per hour and throw it out the window
and then do a u turn and go back for the busted parts and you still would have more of a chance of geting your ps2 back i sent my ps2 there 04-21-2005 and still have not got any response at all from theys people they should be stoped
and should never granted an online store ever
again they have other mod places on online
and are probley screwing people there to
they have people with good response in here they
must be paying people to say good things about them because the ratio is definatly off just like the company i hope some one can stop the for this. it makes no scence you pay here

"After many e-mails, phonecalls, chats I have only been met with silence or lies. Nothing was ever shipped - even after sending me tracking#. DO NEVER ORDER FROM THIS SITE. I will try to dispute the charge with my credit card company."

"I placed an order with ChipDealer on the 6th April and received an e-mail from them on the 15th to say my order was being shipped. Good turn round, or so I thought. Called Fedex on the 21st to see where my goods were. They had not received them. As of today 11th May I have called 10 times and not been able to speak to a live person (their phone voice mail is now full and not accepting any more calls) I have left 10 e-mails and no reply. I believe they have gone out of buisness. So whatever you do you should not place an order with them. They are running a fraudulant buisness "

"I purchased a Premodded Xbox w/ Xecuter 3 chip and nothing else.

After alot of run-around, I realized I was a victim of these con-artists. Getting the same thing as numerous other buyers, Package data transmitted and nothing else.

They claim it takes awhile for fed-ex to update their website, But after all the orders I've placed using fed-ex, I have had to only wait like maybe 8 or so hours at the most for it to update.

They claim that it was shipped, But its over 3 weeks later and of course nothing.

I have already filed a dispute over the charges and received my money back from my bank.

- BUYER WARNING - DONT GOTO THIS PLACE AT ALL, THEY ARE FRAUDS. THEY HAVE OVER 20+ PEOPLE WHO THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO AND ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS I AM IN.

ALSO, TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS. THE PEOPLE HERE CLAIMING THEY ARE SATISFIED, ARE PROBABLY PEOPLE THAT ARE FRIENDS WITH THEM AND OF COURSE THEY ARE GONNA SAY GOOD THINGS. LIES!!!!!! ALL LIES!!!!!!!!! JUST TO SNAG YOU!!!!

(Update I have already ordered from ModChipSource and received my XBox in 1 week)"

"Lets start this review with a line from the movie Scent of a Woman, Al Pacino says, "This is such a crock of S---". This is what chipdealer.com is. I ordered, waited the amount of time specified on their wedsite and never received the Xbox, a tracking number, and none of the phone calls or emails were returned. I finally canceled my order and had to dispute the charge. Something funny, when I did email them and cancelled my order, they sent an email saying my order had been declined. Well if my order is declined why didn't you send me my money, why did I have to dispute the charge?

I have visited chipdealer on Efnet and have watched time and again many unhappy customers complain about not receiving tracking numbers or merchandise. I only wish I would have ran into this website before ordering.

If you do go to Efnet look around and see who is on, all their friends are the ones giving them good reviews. Of course you are going to take care of your friends and screw the REAL customers.

So what is my next move? Since I'm only a 2 hour drive from San Marcos I am going there. If anyone has their address please send it to me.

Myself, I went to socalmods.com and ordered the Xbox. I am going there to pick it up personally, and then pay for it. Update, went today, 05-17-05 and picked it up. Manny was great to deal with. He even hooked it up to his tv and prove to me it really works. Great job Manny!

My advise for everyone out there, please, please, please stay away from chipdealer.com and order from someone else. Save yourself a great deal of heartaches, go somewhere else to get your Xbox."

"This store is a scam, they send you a broken ps2 that is probably bought from someone's junkyard that looks semi new. They forgot to give me my memory card that I have paid for with the order. They never answer emails, you cannot talk on their IRC channel, and phone voicemail box is always full. Stay away!!"

"Alright where do i begin? I ordered an install for xbox on oct 10. and guess what it's nov 11 and i'm still waiting for it. been lied to by several people that work at chipdealer about the status of my order. I was kicked out of the chipdealer irc chat because I expressed my frustration with them. Go shop somewhere else for ur console needs. It's not worth the time and headache to constantly pester these guys to get an order finished and sent. I will never, ever shop at chipdealer again, nor refer anyone to such crappy customer service."

"First, it took a long time to receive my order. I ordered on the 28th of October and recieved on the 8th of November. I just received the X3 Mod chip and am thoroughly disappointed. I received a used one, since there are cut wires on the wire install adapter, there are burn marks on the D0 cable, and the backings on the external switch and the eject adapter were missing causing them to stick together. Not to mention that the pin header was missing. "

"Very poor customer service. Emails sent to sales@chipdealer.com went unanswered, posts on their support system went unanswered, inquiries on irc went unanswered. The only response I EVER got from them was when I emailed the paypal address, and that was only answered once.

Quality of product is less than satisfactory, they charge the full price for a brand new retail PS2 but sent a refurbished unit with all serial numbers and identification missing. Was loaded with an old firmware that required me to upgrade to recieve full advertised functionality.

Pricing was about average, maybe a few dollars cheaper but not worth all the hassle."

"After three weeks of exchanging e-mails, they stated a problem with their cart system resulted in my order being cancelled by them. The web page stated all that all items I ordered were in stock, but a sales representative stated that my hard drive was actually not in stock which resulted in the problem with my order. I am still waiting for them to credit my charge card for the order that they cancelled. My emails were usually answered in 24 to 48 hours. It took three weeks before they stated that my order had been cancelled. "
