I received the product on 06/30/2008, but unfortunately, it was DOA. We obtained a RMA number and promptly sent it back on 07/01/2008, and FedEx delivered on 07/07/2008, but as of morning of 07/10/2008, a replacement still has not been sent out. They certainly take their time to take care of their customers if something go wrong!

This was my first order with this company. I found them through resellerratings.com. I have done a ton of business with Newegg for around 8 years so I felt confident about this retailer.  
Unfortunately the product was defective (manufacturer, or possibly UPS issue). This is the first time I have ever had to return a product and I can now say this company handled it perfectly.  
The return was simple: got RMA number and return address directly from the website so there was no waiting on hold for customer service. My credit card was refunded in about two weeks.  
I re-ordered the same product, this time with Fed-ex Super Saver like I usually do - the way I always recommend (I used to work at UPS and watch packages drop 40 feet).  
The product works wonderfully and I am very pleased :)

My order was for a hard drive. This was my first order with Chiefvalue.com. Right from the start, things weren't OK. The order processing was very slow compared to their own other store - Newegg.com. When i received my hard drive, it was found to be DOA. Whether the drive was DOA due to inappropriate packing is suspect. The drive was bubble wrapped and put in a big box with inadequate peanuts -this certainly does not meet manufacturer's recommendation. I requested an RMA replacement online and sent the drive back to them. It has been 4 days since they have received the drive back and the replacement is yet to be shipped. The customer service rep had no clue what was causing the delay. I think it would have been better if i had done a replacement through Western Digital directly. In short, this would be the first and last time that i would order from Chiefvalue.com  
Update:5/22/08  
I received my replacement drive on 5/9/08 & it is working fine. I was contacted by Cheifvalue.com & they apologized for the delay in RMA. I was also surprised to get a free gift from them. I am very impressed with their customer service. Even though there was some problem initially, they took all effort to meet customer satisfaction.
