"I have been dealing with Canoga Camera for the past 8 years and I can not say enough good things about these guys.
I recently purchased a Nikon D90 and assorted equipment to go with my Nikon, Mikhail was very helpful and courteous. I got there close to closing time, Mikhail stayed with me until I was comfortable with my new equipment.
Thanks guys for the first class service that I have always received from your store.
All of your employees that I have dealt with have been top shelf in customer service.
Canoga Camera prices are very competitive and fair, add that to their first class customer service and you can not go wrong."

"I found the camera that I wanted cheaper than any store and I was very satisfied with my purchase from them. Communication has been wonderful with them and shipping was fast and it was packed excellent. I love my camera and I will not hestitate to buy more from them in the future. "

"This is a positive story, so please be patient and read it all. I created my account here just to share this story.

I placed an order on a $1625 lens with $25 shipping. The lens was out of stock in many other stores at the time I ordered. Two days later, I found J&R and Amazon had this lens at $1600 in stock with free shipping. I called Canoga and asked for a price match of $45. The first store clerk was friendly and told me he would transfer my phone to the person in charge, but no one answered me. I called the store again, now a person named Jamie answered me. He said he could not do price match because it was not their store's policy. He also said he had the authority to turn down my request. I asked him to transfer me to the manager. He did, but no one answered me. I called the store the third time and told Jamie that I wanted to talk with the manager. He transferred me to an elder man who said he was the manager. He talked to me about the business and blah blah. The point was that he could not do the price match. I was a little dissopointed and hanged up after 20-minutues conversation. Five minutes later, a call from Canoga came, a young man told me that he could do the price match for me this time. I asked what was his name and whether he was the manager. His name is Chris and he is the manager. Later, I went to the Canoga Camera website again and found out that Chris was the manager of Canoga. A few days later, I received my lens and loved it very much.

Now the point of this story is: if you have some problem wiht your order and if it seems difficult to be solved, call the store and ask for manager Chris. You have a better chance to have the problem solved. "

"I have been dealing with Canoga Camera for at least 4 years. They are an excellent company. When you call, they treat you as if you are their only customer. On this order, I added instructions to the comment section requesting that they put my lens and filter in a plastic bag before packing it because we had been getting a lot of rain. I was happy when I opened my box and my order was in a plastic bag. The courier had just sat the box on my porch and it was damp on the bottom by the time I got home. Their prices are within pennies of a couple of the other major Internet camera stores. I have exchanged or returned things a couple of times and had no problems at all. Do not hesitate to buy from Canoga Camera."

"I am now up to 7 orders from Canoga Camera. Until I discovered Canoga I used to confine my purchases to a big and reputable East coast retailer. I discovered Canoga through a Google search and found their prices the same or slightly lower than my previous supplier plus they are located much closer to me.

In my first experience with Canoga I gave them a call to check on the availability of a particular lens I wanted to substitute in a Canon XTi kit. I expected the coarse, nonchalant, don't care attitude I was used to getting, but what a surprise! By chance, I spoke to the store manager, Chris, who was the most helpful photo sales rep I'd ever spoken to either in person or on the phone. I was also expecting to be penalized financially for the lens upgrade. Instead Canoga agreed what I wanted to substitute made sense (upgrade from a non-stabilized 18-200mm zoom lens to the new and harder to find stabilized version). In only a week I had exactly what I wanted and am very pleased with both the camera/ lens performance and overall purchase transaction.

Chris and his staff have been equally helpful and accommodating with my subsequent purchases from Canoga Camera. I will continue to buy everything I need for my photo hobby from Canoga as a result of their excellent product knowledge, communication, and desire to please their customers. You won't go wrong buying from Canoga Camera."

"This experience deserves a complete review. I've been a long time B&H customer...that all changed last week. I've been waiting for B&H to get the Canon 400/2.8L IS lens in for over a month. So, I decided to start looking elsewhere. I found the lens on Canoga's website. Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first because their price was over $300 below Canon's retail price.

I emailed the folks at Canoga and asked if the lens they show in stock was actually in stock and they replied within an hour saying it was in stock. I emailed them back and asked if they could possibly hold the lens for me until the following day. They emailed me back and said they would be more than happy to hold it for me.

Here's the most important part of this review. Canon raised the price of this lens a few months ago from 6500 to 6800. I spoke with Chris the following day to confirm this was a USA warranty rather than an import warranty. He confirmed it was the USA warranty. Get this...he said this was the last lens they bought at the lower price before Canon raised their prices. So, instead of raising the price of something already in inventory Canoga chose to keep the price of this lens inline with what it sold for before Canon raised the price. That has to be the most ethical thing I've ever heard of a company doing. Very impressive!

Chris, Canoga, you have a new loyal customer!

"Bumped into these guys through Adwords. Web site looked well maintained, prices were competitive and thus decided to buy my Tokina lens with Canoga Camera.

Just received my lens (one day later). Absolutely great experience and will most likely buy with them again."

"I placed an order for a lens from Canoga Camera on the night of July 4, by 12pm on July 5 I got a call for verification, by that night I got a tracking number and by July 7, the lens was in my home from CA to NY in 2days. Their service was outstanding, they don't hard sell when they call you for verification. I am very pleased with this purchase. I ordered a Canon lens from them, the lens was packed in it's original box and placed in another box full of styrofoam peanuts, it was very well protected. I would definately order more equipment from them."

"Ordered the Canon 50D. The price was about $100 below most other retailers. Paid for three day shipping, and it arrived one day early. The camera was well packed, and arrived in perfect condition. I plan on using Canoga Camera for all my future needs. I would recommend them to anyone."
