After a problem with the shipping to a different address with Visa, I sent a certified cheque. The lens and bag kit arrived at my preferred destination. I ordered a Canon Rebel XS camera. I had been watching the price for a month or so. Cameta Camera had a good reputation. I called to talk with a rep and was impressed by the product knowlege of the employees. I ordered my camera and bag on Saturday afternoon and it was on my doorstep the following Friday. I will be using Cameta for future camera/accessory purchases. I highly recommend Cameta Camera.

Great camera and great service organization. Prior to the XSi, I was shooting a Canon Rebel XT. While the XT was state of the art 5 years ago, Canon took the shortcomings of the XT and SIGNIFICANTLY improved upon an already great product. The software/firmware design is such that custom shooting can be achieved in a much more rapid manner. With features such as automated sensor cleaning, improved color enhancement, better scene light condition analysis and correction, high ISO noise reduction, and improved speed, this camera (for the price) beats the XT hands down.  
 
The 12MP is more than sufficient for normal photography and only if you are shooting 15MP images to produce life size images that you can hang on your walls (T1i) for your friends to admire, this camera gets the job done in a more than a professional fashion.  
 
I highly recommend the XSi and the seller as an example of an outstanding value overall.

So far, I'm very pleased with my order (still gotta run a roll or two through and see what's what).  
 
This was my first purchase of a used camera body from an online dealer where there was no picture of the item and only a description with an explanation of how they rate used equipment. I was a bit nervous about that, but I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did because, from what I can see, the description was spot on. Except for the slightest amount of wear on the screw that secures the grip to the camera (and allows access to the battery compartment), the camera looks essentially brand new. It's a Canon EOS 630...that means it's roughly 20 years old!  
 
Not only was the description accurate, but the camera was packed very well (double boxed and bubble wrap), and it arrived safe and sound.  
 
Another nice surprise was the quick turnaround on my order. Apparently, they don't sit on your order waiting for who knows what. I placed my order late on a Sunday evening, and they shipped it the next day...that's the way it's supposed to be done.  
 
In short, I'm so pleased with my experience with Cameta Camera that I'm definitely keeping them on my short list of go-to sites (especially for used equipment since their description was so accurate). If every order goes as well as this one, I'll keep coming back.

I've ordered from Cameta Camera a few times over the past few years...haven't written a review before. I recently purchased a non-Canon flash for a Canon camera from Cameta on an e-Bay auction. The flash arrived just fine etc. -- new in the box -- but it did not synch properly with the camera. I had researched this particular unit and know of others who use this flash on the same camera model. Unfortunately and no fault of Cameta, this particular unit didn't function correctly. Cameta went above and beyond good service in assisting me in returning the flash and promptly crediting my PayPal account. I will order again from Cameta without any hesistation. This is a very reputable company. All of my buying experiences with Cameta have been excellent experiences. I give them the highest rating possible. Thanks Cameta Camera!

I was so nervous about buying a camera online after viewing some scam sites. But I came across Cameta Camera through Amazon.com so I knew I would be safe. I was really happy about the prices, and even happier about the service. I had my stuff within a week and everything was perfect. Be careful when buying online. Go with someone like Cameta Camera, great company. I will definitely order from them for any photo needs.

I received everything exactly as ordered. I also recieved my order within a few days without paying for expidited shipping. I will definately recommend Cameta Camera to others, and use myself as needed. Thnks so much.

This is the first time I haave ordered from Cameta Camera. The website was easy to get around and the bundles were great prices. Getting it out and sent was fast, it is a great place to buy camera products.

My DSLR arrived fairly on time using USPS International Express Mail Service. Highly recommended for buyers outside US. Packing was good though they could have taped it more. Their prices and shipping charges are quite competitive if not, cheaper than other similar on line stores. I would very likely purchase from Cameta again. By the way, they should expand their present inventory to give customers more buying options. All in all, Cameta is a reliable seller!
