"Cafe Press sucks. Do not buy stuff from Cafe Press. They have crappy imprint quality. I had two shirts that lost all their ink on one side of the shirt after about 5 washings. But since it took me more than 30 days to wear and wash them 5 times, they do not stand behind them. I am "out of the return period". So they also have crappy customer service. Even when faced with a social media complaint (albeit from a year old purchase), they pretended to act like they would fix it privately, but offered me something completely useless as a fix.

This was not a single order, but that one was the worst. I have had shirts losing their imprint after a while since I have been buying them. And its not just fading, but an entire letter will just "fall off". Like a typical customer, I just figured that was part of the cost of having custom shirts printed. But I have had one shirt from Zazzle for maybe three years, and 30-50 washings and it is standing up just fine. I can't say how other companies are, but Cafe Press sucks and Zazzle seems pretty good.

"Do not EVER order from CafePress!!! I purchased a Groupon for an item by CafePress. The Groupon was basically a discount code that I used when placing my order online at CafePress.com. I purchased a personalized home-state pillow, used my Groupon code, had no problems. The next day I decided to make a small change to my order, so I called customer service. She told me I couldn't change it but could cancel and re-order. I explained I had used a Groupon code and asked in my code would still be valid if I re-ordered. She said to wait 3-5 days to reorder and it should be fine. I tried after 3 days, again after 5 days, and again after a week and each time it said my code was invalid and had been redeemed. I was afraid of that. I called customer service again. They were no help and told me I had to call Groupon to get another code. I called Groupon...they said I have to call CafePress. So round and round I went. I finally got someone helpful at CafePress who, after 30mins, got me another code and placed my order for me over the phone. All I had to do now was wait for it to arrive. Well, it arrived, and guess what...instead of a "Georgia" state pillow, it was "South Carolina"!!!! So, here I go, calling customer service AGAIN!!! I get someone on the phone and explain what the situation is. I give her my order number and she tells me she can't find the product because I bought it with a voucher (not sure why that matters, but it's not my problem!!) She starts grumbling under her breathe asking if I have a product ID so I look it up for her. She eventually finds what I'm trying to order but continues to have problems fixing my order. I'm asking her if what she sees in her system is a pillow with the outline of Georgia, instead of South Carolina, and she tells me, "I don't know what Georgia looks like." SERIOUSLY?!?!? Then she says she thinks she has it correct but that the new order doesn't look very different from wrong one...Really? GA and SC don't look that alike!! Anyways, she places the order. I ask what to do with the incorrect pillow, she says just keep it (lucky me, right?!). So, now I'm waiting for my corrected order to ship to me. Wont be surprised if I'm somehow charged for it and/or it's still incorrect. All this to say, save yourself the enormous hassle and DO NOT order anything from CafePress."

"I ordered a shower curtain and paid a fairly expensive price as compared to others. When it arrived, the shower curtain had been used!!! It was repackaged in a used bag and wadded up. Additionally is was very cheaply made and not at all as advertised. I contacted Cafepress and they replied that they would send another one. I explained that I did not want another one because I was so disgusted. They sent it anyway. I refused the package and had it returned. I also paid $10to return the original because there was no return policy. Now, I am out $70, for the price of the curtain and return shipping. "

"I ordered a $4 gift label on January 6, 2015 and paid an additional $21 for expedited overnight delivery in order to have it for a special occasion. The package arrived on January 12, much too late for the event. However, CaféPress does not believe that this 6 day “overnight” delivery is unreasonable. "

"I ordered a beach towel for my grandson with a nice dinosaur print on it - $34.50. Well, for $34.50 I expected a lush, luxurious, warm and fuzzy towel that would last him years to come. INSTEAD, I received a thin little towel that will probably last through about half a dozen washings before it's threadbare. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I wouldn't pay $12.99 at a discount store for that towel!! So, beware. Just because you are spending good money at Cafepress, doesn't mean you're going to get a good product in return. Oh, but wait: the packaging was impressive. It came in a large, long box, folded up and wrapped in brown paper and packaging and boy, was I excited to open that puppy up! Only for D-I-S-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-M-E-N-T CITY!!! Will never buy anything from here again!! "

"Very impressed with CafePress. My ordered arrived in a timely manner, and was exactly what I expected. I did need a smaller size than what I ordered, so I contacted them about an exchange. They said there was no need to return my order (even though it was my own mistake and I would have gladly paid shipping to return), and they would send out the correct size. I received it within a week. They have my future business."

"The whole experience was horrible - order lost in mail - had to constantly follow-up - finally received order and it was defective. There were words cut-off on the bumper sticker and customer service did not care to ensure that the customer received a quality product. They refused to correct the problem so I could receive the product I wanted and kept pushing for me to choose something else. When all I wanted was what I ordered to be 100%! There were multiple e-mails back/forth which were totally unnecessary. I am not sure where the communications came from? India maybe? But definitely sub par customer service experience!!!! Not only would I not recommend Cafe Press but have shared my horrible experience with family/friends to warn them of the company so they are prepared. In order to be rid of dealing with the company I finally agreed to pick another product but feel the company could have/should have done so much more to satisfy me! I will never do business with this company again!! At this point, fully refunding my money would not even improve my opinion of Cafe Press! If anyone reads this just be warned about poor quality, horrible uncaring customer service and wasting valuable time to try and get what you you paid for!!!!!"

I ordered CNY cards and was very disappointed with the cards that arrived.There was no message all .They are just picture cards which I am embaressed to send yo my friends in Singapore,Taiwan and China.

"I ordered on January 1. The latest email from CafePress gives an estimated delivery date of January 22. I will be out of the country then. At any rate, three weeks' estimated delivery time is unacceptable, and who knows if it will arrive by then?

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. CafePress gives the impression of supplying a premium product but is lackadaisical about shipping. When the order finally does ship, it goes out by the slowest, cheapest way possible. I paid $7.49 for shipping. For that amount, the order could have been shipped two-day express mail.

"I ordered some items as Christmas gift for my husband beginning of December.
The order was supposed to arrive well before Christmas and after multiple emails to them, by the 7th of January, I still haven't receive anything so I canceled my order.
Their service is absolutely crap and definitely to avoid.

"I ordered two matching shirts for my Father and I for Christmas.
I mistakenly ordered shirts that only came in women's sizes.
The shirts were awesome quality but obviously didn't fit, as we are not women.
Cafe press made a very happy new year by exchanging the shirts for replacements, at no extra cost including shipping and handling. Generous. Helpful all around Excellent Customer Service

"I order a t-shirt on December 13, 2014. I received a tracking label that it was shipped on December 23, 2014. Fed Ex said they received it on December 29, 2014. Fed Ex says that have delivered the package to USPS and it should be delivered on January 5, 2015. Merry Christmas from Cafe Press."

"What a horrible experience. I ordered long sleeve white tshitrts printed with a custom design for Christmas. When they arrived, the t shirts were either discolored or dirty. I made up my mind it let it go, but when I recieved a survey, I completed it with that information. I then received a very kind letter from customer service:
