"I purchased a 48" LCD Samsung smart tv but after 100 days it cycled through on and off. I contacted Samsung and they made me aware that Buy Squad only cells "refurbished devices". I you tv malfunctions 1 day outside of the 90 day warranty there is no recourse. Be aware cheep chocolate is not good, good chocolate is not cheep. Lets see if Buysquad steps up to the plate and gets Samsung to honor their warranty. "

" love buying everything on BuySquad, and I usually do. I recently purchased the LC-70UQ17U and it was an exception to my usual BuySquad buying sprees. When I heard about this tv, I thought it was a great idea. Something decently priced (not $8-17K like a few other models) and it has the ability to play 4k video (the THX certification is a major plus too). At it's current price this tv is still a big purchase, so I had to see it in person before I bought it. Just looking at online stats wasn't enough for me.

I searched and found that apparently in my area (Southern California) only B%^T B&Y had any of the UQ series in stock, so I went there. I saw it on the wall playing a 720p signal (due to some of their tv's not being able to handle higher than 720p), even as close as a couple feet away it as good as 1080p to me. Of course I compared the UQ to its neighbors a HD Sony and a HD Samsung of similar size. The UQ was much clearer. I noticed that they had one UQ hooked up to Direct TV and running at 1080p in the corner, it was incredibly clear in 1080.Then I went through the store comparing the UQ to the expensive UHD tv's. Normally I can easily spot the difference between 1080p and 1080i, but I couldn't tell the difference between the UQ and the UHD tv's they had on display running the same signal. Buy Squad offered the best price i Could find anywhere!!

It has arrived at my house, it's setup, it's on right now and it's a handsome beast of a tv. When you initially turn it on it's in energy saver mode and it looks very good, then you change it to THX mode and it looks even better (I don't plan on tweeking either of these settings, they are great right out of the box). When playing Direct TV at 1080p it is crystal clear, when playing Blu rays at 1080p/24p it's amazingly clear with great depth of color. Haven't seen a bit of LCD lag yet when playing action movies or sports either.

The tv itself is amazing, and future ready since it can play 4k content. The only small issue I have is that I haven't found 4k content that it can play yet, but this is most likely due to me trying do it the wrong way. I'm too cheap to buy a 4k media hub that will plug into the tv through HDMI, so I keep trying to play 4k content through USB. Hasn't worked yet, but I'll let you know if it does

"First impressions count. Within minutes of my order I received a call from a Buy Squad rep letting me know my selection was being phased out of production, and a newer model was replacing it, and was now available. They didn't try to unload old stock on me, first good impression, they matched the price of the newer model, which was the best one I found ultimately, check that one, and they never tried to up-sell me, which would have annoyed me. They simply excelled at doing the minimum with great attention to detail. They, because I complimented them, comped me expedited shipping in 5-7 days, came in 4 days, can't say more: they are intent on selling me another TV, whenever that is. That is a great first impression, they unquestionably put the customer first. The entire experience satisfied me. In the end, after the niceties, I received the TV intact, packaged well, with that I would recommend this vendor not only for my next TV, (they are very price competitive) but you should give them a try. This is from a spoiled Ne# E*g customer. I expect the highest customer service standards."

"Last week I ordered a TV and Blue Ray from Buy squad. I don't shop often so I was apprehensive about the process. Everything went as planned except for the Blue Ray. I called Buy Squad and they resolved the problem within 24 hrs. You really can't ask for more than that. I will definitely use them again. "

"I've never purchased a TV or other large purchase on-line before. But I knew what I was getting in the TV. However, I did not know how the delivery experience would be. The free Standard shipping option worked out perfectly. I ordered on a Thursday and scheduled the delivery for the following Thursday. They showed up within the 3 hour window provided. Unboxed, installed the TV on it's stand and plugged it in to make sure it work. They also took all the trash away.


Overall impressed with the TV and BuySquad, find myself watching movies again like they are new.

"Ordered a Samsung 60" tv yesterday online at their site, which they advertised for $1,815.00 INCLUDING FREE SHIPPING, and paid with my credit card. Immediately received an email from them instructing me to call them to verify the purchase for "my own safety". Called this morning and after the rep tried to sell me everything under the sun to go with the tv, he then told me that I would have to pay $126.00 for insuring the tv during trasit. I reminded him that their website advertised free shipping and he said that the insurance was not included and that it had to be paid. I declined and instructed him to cancel my order which he did. I received an email verifying the cancellation of my order moments later. Shortly thereafter a Floor Manager, Mark, called and apologized for the miscommunication and waived the insurance fee. He stated that because the tv is so large that special companies had to be used to transport it versus the usual UPS or FEDEX and that they were in the process of updating their website with that information but it had not yet been updated. I attempted to change the star rating to 5 star completely satisfied but it doesn't appear to be taking. I do appreciate the explanation and prompt customer service. Thank you for a great tv at a great price."

"This Tv is so great that I had to write my first review on here. I did
so much research on TVs before I purchased this one. The picture
quality is amazing and nothing beats it but 4k TVs. I went to a store
and they had this side by side with the Samsung F8000 60" and F7100
(also 60"). Both TVs looked great, but the colors on the Sony W900 are
SO much better and WAY sharper. The F8000 and F7000 models were so
bright that the colors looked faded and washed out. You could even
notice the pixels on the F7100. I had two other people with me and
both said the Sony had a picture that was far superior. The F8000 was
listed at $2400 and the the Sony W900a was $1700 (huge price drop
since last March when it was $3300). It was a no brainer which one to
choose.

I watched the BluRay of the Watchmen when I got it. The first fight
seen looked awesome! Even better than I remember from the movie
theater! The blacks are dark, the colors are vibrant, the picture is
crisp, and the motion is so clear. No color saturation issues
whatsoever (unlike Samsung). My wife especially likes watching the
Walking Dead on this TV; she says it looks like Daryl is right in the
room with her.

If you're into gaming, especially FPSs, you cant beat the lag input.
It's the 2nd lowest lag input TV on the market- only beaten by another
Sony model. Playing Titanfall on my Xbox One is freaking awesome. You
can see every bullet and you never wonder how you died. No more, "It
looks like he only shot me once!" or "I didn't even see him on my
screen!"

You also can't beat BuySquad's Price! . This TV is just amazing! I
hope this helps. Thanks again BuySquad :)

"I am amazed at the professionalism of the customer service representatives at BuySquad.com, as compared to what I have gone through with other "Named and Famed" retailers. The item (65" Samsung Smart TV) was delivered well within the time frame agreed upon. There was no attempt to twist my arm into buying anything more than I needed,. However, the reps did make me aware of the deals and left it to me to decide. Overall, BuySquad.com is a great find and will definitely do business here again."

"First of all, they are a real company just to let you guys know but Iffy in some area, first I saw the price and took the chance before reading the reviews , seeing everyone negative feedback I got scared thinking that it was a scam, but it turns out to be legit but here all the fun starts, but once you order they will make you get the insurance for large shipment for Freight which I understand , so he quoted me 185 but charged me 215 on my credit card without my permission , I said the hell with it ...if that's what takes to make it get here safely then I let it slide then they send me a email that night stated it is shipped and it stated that someone will call me to schedule a deliver date, waited a whole week to hear from them to schedule (tues to next tues) , call them a whole week later and they gave me the info of the company that is shipping my tv, it shows that It just now got shipped that day , so in all I have to wait about 2 and a half weeks from the date I ordered, not 7 to 10 days as promised.( they updated the site to 14 days now).. shopping online is suppose to be easy , not full of hassle and phone calls back and forward, on hold and hidden fees. Be prepare to make phone calls and find out hidden fees , this isn't no click and pay and go type of sale. it like we went back in time ..

I will update as i go , but this is my Exp. so far.


today 3/19 they called me regarding to my post here, and put a HOVER OVER status on my order , holding back my order? not sure why I couldn't contact them

got a call back today they was just following up on my order and stated that it is shipped.

finally got the tv, took forever and full of hassle and phone calls but it's here. happy with the tv, service.. ehh but just wanted to share my exp. with you guys. just happy that it's over and I don't have to deal with them anymore.

"Don't waste your time. After the order was placed they asked that I call them to confirm the order. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes and hung up and emailed them to call me when they could. A very friendly person did call and tried to sell me a wall mount, cords, and most importantly...an insurance policy to ship the TV. $130 for a $1250 TV. They told me that I would have to pay insurance on shipping no matter what company I ordered through. I cancelled the order and ordered it through another online merchant. "

"Very bad experience. Ordered large TV, and TV mount from this company. Constantly on the phone (daily) trying to get delivery information from them. One rep said it shipped on Thursday, the next rep said that it never shipped. Received the TV, but no mount. Had to chase them down for the mount. They then sent a different mount than I ordered for a much smaller TV without any notice. Said it was tested and held larger TVs! They didn't care that it was not the specific model that I ordered!! Not worth the frustration!

Update 3/27/14

Several weeks after this sale, Mark Davis of Buysquad called to try to rectify the problems that I had with this transaction. To his credit, he admitted they had not handled my order professionally, and wanted to try to make it right. He corrected some of the issues that I had with my order which was the right thing to do. Suggest dealing with Mark if you are going to buy any high dollar item.
