"my living room was in need of a major remodel but I opted for a large screen TV instead. I went into my local big box store and checked out different models. It was very had to see the TV picture because the lighting was very bright in the showroom and they just had a wall of TVs.

I then went to a audio video specialty store where they had normal good lighting so I was able to actually see the difference between a couple TV sets I was looking at. The problem with this small store was that they have very little inventory set up in the showroom. Also, the salespeople were all over me and i need space when i go shopping.

I then got home and went online. I pride myself in always finding the best deal out there. My brother was also looking for a similar TV so I would be looking to get a better price on 4 TVs. I needed a 75"-90". I first looked at the Sharp which is a great deal but the picture was a little dull for me. Then I looked at the LG 84" but this TV was awesome but out of my league on the price. Then I looked at the Samsung un75es9000 and I fell in love. I was just the perfect picture. I found a store that carries it from the other side of town, drove down there and it was love at first site. I know that my wife would also love the cosmetics of this TV. It just like looking out the window at a picture.

I started my search online. I saw a bunch of online stores in the east-cost but I use to live in New York and I didn't want to deal with a vendor from there. I live in Pebble Beach California so I wanted someone that was on my side of the world. I found the 2nd lowest priced company called Buysquad in Portland. I placed the order and added it to the cart and added extra insurance. The price was about 10% lower with no tax. This sounds too good to be true. how can they charge me so much less then the big stores.

I will update this review once I get this TV.

I got a call from the trucking company and they are scheduling the TV to deliver at my house on Monday between 12-4.

Monday came, I didn't want to get my hopes up too high until I got the tv in my house.
They delivered closer to 4 and the driver brought the TV into my house. The box was dented in the corner so I made sure to notate it on my receipt from the driver. I turner the TV on and it worked. I connected the stand and had it on for a couple hours to make sure everything is ok.
It still works so that is a good thing for buysquad because I would have been very upset otherwise. I am taking this $300 I saved and taking my kids fishing for my fathers day.

So I would recommend this outfit to others looking to buy a TV.

"Update 1 6/07/2013: Mark from Buysquad has made contact with me and it appears that Buysquad is going to rectify every aspect of this sales transaction and I'll be given a full refund. Mark has been extremely helpful thus far and I will write another update once the refund is received.


This has been an extremely negative experience so far, but I will update my remarks if resolution is achieved. I wish that I had come across this site prior to doing business with Buysquad. Like many of the other scorned customers who have written reviews on this site, I, too, feel like Buysquad has some less than honest business practices.

I bought what was supposed to be a brand new 65" Samsung UN65ES800 for $2689.99. I, too, was charged a mandatory insurance charge of around $170 which brought the total to $2,883. I received the TV on Friday, May 31st which was actually within the 14 day window as advertised so no problem there. The problems started when I saw the over sized box that the TV was shipped in. I was hoping that the TV was inside a smaller box, but that was not the case. It was shipped in a very crude manner with a small amount of styrofoam around the base of the TV, but absolutely nothing around the top of the TV to keep it from being damaged. The delivery man even made a commment that he had never seen a TV shipped like this.

Once we pulled the TV up and out of the box I immediately noticed that the aluminum bezel around the outer edge of the TV was damaged. Once we got the TV inside I noticed that in addition to the damaged bezel, the TV stand was bent in the front and the back in the same location which prompted me to tell the deliveryman that I did not want to take delivery of the TV. He called his Supervisor while I attempted to call Buysquad.

He was able to contact his Supervisor prior to me contacting Buysquad and I was informed that I would have to keep the TV because he is not allowed to load it back on to his truck. I made sure that he accurately annotated the damage in the delivery invoice and he left.

I was finally able to get in touch with a representative named "Mark" who requested that I send him pictures of the damaged TV and he stated that he would get back in touch with me in a few hours. I sent him an email approximately 5 minutes after getting off of the phone with him which was about 12:30pm.

I then decided to do a function check on the TV because I thought that if I was offered a reasonable discount then I might be willing to keep it. The TV worked fine for about 5 minutes and then it began to power off and on continuously while displaying vertical and horizontal color bands.

Since I never heard back from Mark on the day of delivery as he said that I would, I sent another email on June 3rd and included pictures of the color banding. In the email I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked Mark what I needed to do in order to get the TV back to them for a full refund. It is now June 5th and I still have yet to receive a call or email response from Buysquad.

At this point I am beginning to think that in spite of being sold what was advertised as a new TV, I was sold either a refurbished TV or knowingly sold a defective TV. The only thing I know for sure is that I have TV which doesn't work and Buysquad has $2,883 of my money. It's really disconcerting to read that so many people have had similar experiences with this company."

"This is a revised review..........after some initial problems in getting the product ordered and delivered, Mark from Buy Squad got involved and solved any and all problems with in 24 hours. Ended up with an upgraded TV at a better price. It was very refreshing to see a company reacting to a customer complaint in such a decisive and satisfying manner!!! Went from "never again" to "will certainly check them out for future purchases"."

"thank you buysquad for the great price and unbelievable tv that I had bought from you I thought it was gonna be much harder to order a tv online but I was wrong buysquads staff is very nice and helpful with all the questions I had about this tv and lets not forget about the best price on the internet so all I wanted to do is let every one know that buysquad is one of the best company's I have donT business with online so THANKS BUYSQUAD"

"Never did the thought cross my mind to make a large purchase online but I got sick of my grandkids making jokes that I was born in the stone age.

I had my tech savvy 18 year old grandson walk me through purchasing online. I wanted a 55" TV which is the perfect size for my living room but I wanted to spend less then $1000 and get the highest resolution picture.

After 2 weeks of doing research on the internet with him and makign a list of the best products, I found the TV i wanted. Now all I needed to do was pull the trigger and find the best deal out there without having to haggle with a salesman.

I first ordered from some outfit in the eastcoast which proved to be a waste of time because after the order was placed, I got a call saying that they did not have stock on this model.

The second company I purchased from was this one. I made the purchase online and added the extended warrany. I got a confirmation email from them.

2 days later I got an email with the tracking of the product and a request for a delivery appointment. I picked the slot that fit me best 4 days later.

The day of the deliver my grandson came over to help make sure that I got the TV and everything was in good condition.

He didnt have time to write this review, so I wanted to come full circle as a online consumer and report that everything has worked out and now I am called the Web Savvy Grandpa that knows how to get the best deals online."

"Thank you very much buy squad. I needed my tv to be deliveried in a timely fashion for a party I was having & buysquad really did there job on getting It to me. This company has the best prices around. I would definitely recommend buysquad to whoever is looking to purchase a flat screen or any other products they offer. "Looking for my first 80" TV. Looked at amazon, bestbuy, crutchfield, tigerdirect and another 10 sites. Came across buysquad as lowest with reviews. called them, they sounded legit and actually picked up the phones with in a short hold time.

Got the tv today and it is awesome. I cant get over this amazing picture quality.


This is great and this company delivers what they sell."

"I would just like to take the time to express how easy and wonderfull it was to place an order with this company. This was my first big purchase ever made online and thanks to buysquad i will be doing alot more purchasing online and hope that all my future purchases online will have the same expeirnce like i did with buy squad. My tv came just in time as i had family visiting from out of state. Thw only problem i have now is holding myself back from buying 3 more that i need for my new house & i can tell you this much i will be placing it through buysquad.com. "I just rented a dream condo in the heart of San Fran and I started my hunt for a sleek slim TV. I was looking for Samsung because they have the best design and something with capability to hang on the wall with no bezel. Just all TV


During my search online, I came across Amazon and decided on the 55ES6100 which was rated high and the price. I then searched this model on the web and came up with this company buysquad that had the lowest price. I figured for a $250 price difference, I would be willing to take a chance on this company I never heard of before. There reviews were fair on line but mostly positive.


I placed the order online in the 2nd of the month of May. The standard shipping time was 7-14 days for free shipping and I needed it in 5 days so I paid extra for the expedited shipping. I then got a call from the trucking company on the last and 5th day to do the delivery. They actually delivered on the 6th day, which I though was a day late, but then I looked again at my order and it said 5 business days so it was actually delivered within the scheduled window.


I inspected and the TV and initially I was not happy because I got a model with a little different ending then the one I originally ordered but when I looked it up online, It was in reality more expensive and had more hertz.


I would rate this company well for first of all saving me $250 on the purchase. Then, I was happy that the delivery was smooth. Last but not least, I am enjoying the TV and the picture is really clear. My friends that came over my place, all comment about how clear it is. So far I can only give high recommendation to this store for a job well done.

"Well after reading all of these reviews I don't feel as if I am alone in dealing with this company. I also purchased a TV from them, was told to call confirm, and had to pay the mandatory insurance. I started this process on May 12 and on May 20 was told the TV has been shipped by email with no tracking information. I am still waiting for details of when the TV will arrive and am very nervous about the condition it is in. I was never told it was a Class A so it had better be a brand new TV. I will update this review when the TV arrives."

"HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH BUYSQUAD ORDERED A TV LAST WEEK AND WAS HOPEFUL TO GET MY TV FOR MEMORIAL DAY BECAUSE I WAS HAVING COMPANY, EVEN THOUGH I ORDERED THE GROUND 7-14 DAY DELIVERY! mARK AT BUYSQUAD WAS HELPFUL AND POLITE , HE EVEN FOLLOWED UP WITH ME THROUGH THE PROCESS TO KEEP ME INFORMED!!!
