"After having had a bad experience with another lowcost online retailer (sunsetcamera.com) I was hesitant to order an Olympus C4040 digital camera. Buydig seemed to have a good rating for a low priced retailer. I called to confirm I would be getting a new in the box US retail with full US warranty and was told I would. Place the order over the phone. The salesman was short but polite, even when I refused the overpriced accessories he offered. I recieved the camera on time and as advertised..new with US warranty. Would buy again."

"This is the second time I've ordered from Buydig, and both times I've been happy with the price and shipping, and OK with the salesperson. I bought a Canon ZR20 MiniDV camcorder. Buydig had the best price of any merchant that had a decent rating here. I again got some pressure from the salesman to buy accessories (overpriced). I bought a pack of MiniDV tapes that were a few dollars more than I would have paid if I had shopped around, but the price wasn't unreasonable. Shipping was fast, and they sent me exactly what I ordered. So I would continue to recommend Buydig."

"My experience with buydig.com was VERY positive. They informed me of what they had in stock, shipping prices, policies, etc. My only complaint is that they will try to upsell filters, which was fine because the camera I purchased was destined for a track car and I wanted a filter as a little protection for the lense anyways, but this might annoy most people. One thing that amazed me was that they tried to sell me a lower model and explained why (the only useful feature on the model I bought over the lower (and much cheaper) model was the ability to record for very long periods of time). For my case, I needed this one feature to use during extended sessions where I wouldn't be able to turn around at 100mph, unstrap the camera, change the tape, and restrap in the camera.

Overall, 4.5/5."

"I was very pleased. They processed my order the same day. I received an email (on a Sunday) with a tracking number. FedEx web site then showed me the movement every step of the way. I got the Nikon coolpix 5000 nearly a week before it was promised, new, fresh in the box just as it should be.

The only tiny problem I had is that they reduced the price by five dollars after I purchased but before I received, and they never answered my email asking for the five bucks. The other problem was that I worried a lot because of the negative comments I read on this and other sites."

"I ordered my Canon 1D Mark II on Friday April 15th around 2PM. I received an email at 2:47PM advising my order had been shipped via FEDEX ground and gave me the tracking number. I checked FEDEX later that evening and info confirmed they had picked up the package and it showed a extimated delivery date of 4/20/05, considering there was a weekend involved I was happy with the 4/20/05 date. I checked on 4/19 and it showed the package was on the truck for delivery that date. Unfortunately I had an appointment and while I was gone the driver attempted delivery at 1150AM. When I returned at 1215PM needless to say I was disappointed I wasn't home to receive the camera. Around 2PM I received a call from the FEDEX driver checking to see if we would be home. I told him yes and he delivered my camera 15 minutes later.

The camera was packed in a box within a box with good packing all around the Canon box. It was obvious the box had never been opened and everything inside was factory new.

This is the 2nd camera I have bought from BuyDig (2002 purchased a Canon PRO90) and on both occassions I have been extremely happy with my purchase. I would also like to mention that the price for the Canon 1D Mark II was the best I could find from a reputable dealer.

I would definately buy from BuyDig in the future, their prices are very competative and you can't beat their service."

"My husband had ordered a Minolta Dimage7 from BuyDig about a week prior to my order. I was so impressed with the camera, I knew I had to have one. I made the horrible mistake of ordering one from Broadway Photo since their price was considerably lower. Of course, after being subjected to BP's high pressure pitch for accessories, including a warranty, I found this site and realized for sure what a mistake I'd made. I cancelled that order and called BuyDig. We were scheduled to leave on vacation on April 18 and I wanted to have the camera before we left. It was early afternoon on the 16th when I called BuyDig, and the young man who answered the phone said he couldn't guarantee that it would arrive the next day, but when I explained how important it was to me, he said he would make every effort to see that it shipped that day by FedEx. He asked if I wanted any accessories, and when I said I didn't, there was no high pressure pitch. He was polite and helpful throughout, and the camera arrived the next day. I got a tracking number and was able to follow the order every step of the way.

This buying experience was an eye-opener as I had not previously encountered "gray market" products as I did with the Broadway Photo order. The camera from BuyDig came with warranty, batteries, charger and various connection cables, all of which were going to be extra at Broadway Photo. Both my husband and I were very pleased with both the service and product from BuyDig, and will definitely buy from them again. "

"After a terrible experience with Zerodelivery.com I thought I'd try an online purchase one more time.

I ordered my Olympus C-4040Z, using BuyDig.com's online order form, on Friday. In the "comments" section I entered that I already had accessories. I promptly recieved email confirmation within 20 minutes.

I received my Fedex tracking number Sunday night, two days later and was able to access it Monday night through Fedex's site.

I was extremely happy to receive my camera on Wednesday. Everything was new and packaged as promised. I would definitely buy from this company again.

Even better, I haven't received an "hard-sell" follow up phone calls.

"Purchased a PD150 from this company. I ordered over the phone and they delivered what they said and when they said. I was fearing the out of stock call a couple days after my order but it didn't happen. Would definitely buy from them again!"
