I have never been treated so rudely by a company in my life. They sent me the wrong lens and then BLAMED me. They took no responsibility at all! Don't do business with them!
Edit: After talking to a manager and being treated with respect, I was shipped the correct lens. The upper management went as far to call me and personally apologize for the lack of respect from the other workers. It sounds to me that they take customer service very seriously. This was my first order from BuyDig.com (a division of Beach Trading). I did my homework and decided on a very good camera and then shopped for price. I purchased from BuyDig as they seemed to have a low range price while having a decent rep with the various rating services. Everything was fine except that I felt the packaging to be lacking for a digital camera with padding only on the bottom. I'd expect at least some padding on all six sides for a precision device like this.

We used Resellerratings.com to find a store we
could trust for the purchase of a new SONY DSLR A700 camera and 16gb Sandisk chip. Our products were processed and shipped exactly as specified at the Buydig.com web site. Tracking info was provided on time and we received our new camera exactly as specified. We are thankful Resellerratings.com is here to help us find a good company to do business with. And thanks to Buydig for being a good company.

Here's the follow up to my earlier review. Immediately upon completing my order I was given an order confirmation number and immediately thereafter received an email confirming the order with the same order confirmation. I placed the order at about 7:00 a.m. on 8/20 for a Nikon D300 and even though they say it can take about 24-48 hours for in stock items to ship, by 2:00 that same afternoon I received an email confirming shipping with a fedex tracking number. Although I only paid an extra $10.00 to get 3-6 business day delivery, the camera arrived at my office this morning at 9:00 (48 hours after I had placed my order). I never received a call from customer service to confirm my order or any attempt to sell me any extras. The camera arrived in perfect factory sealed condition. We bought a television that did not work. Buydig told us we could not return it, but had to have it repaired under warranty. We did not know until after we bought it that we could not return it. Buydig should have stated this up front. We feel deceived by Buydig.

I purchased a Nikon Coolpix L18 camera on august 10th. Their site says they ship within 24-48 hours. Since I purchased on a Sunday I called them on Monday to check on the order. they told me it would go out that day. On Tuesday i get an e-mail that says it's on backorder (obviously the guy i spoke with didn't know what he was talking about).I called them again and they told me they would ship it on Monday the 18th. I said i was going on vacation the 25th and wanted it prior to my departure. I tried to check my order on line the 18th and my account had no history and when i tried to call their phones lines were nor working properly.Finally got through today. The camera did NOT go out on monday. Still backorder so i cancelled. They have yet to credit my payapal account so I'll probably have to call them again...what a hassle. With the amount of online businesses available I will not be purchasing anything from this company again. Unfortunate.

I bought canon fs100 camcorder, cause the price 309$ which was lowest i found at the time and pay pal option.
Delivery was fast and camcorder was in excellent condition.
Only thing was that manufactures box was not sealed as it supposed to.
Nothing was missing and camcorder looked fresh new, tried it and was working alright as far as i can say.
I emailed to customer service and they tolled me that everything they sell its new, and that's it.Also their return policy says that they are not returnable after box is opened in this case the way i receive it.
At the and since it is working I didn't make big deal of it and just keeping it the way it is with unpleasant feeling an regret for going with the lowest price i found.
I guess that's the glitch of buying on line.

Give some careful consideration before doing business with Buydig.
My buying experience so far (18 Aug 2008):
Day 1: At 10:37 am, I placed an order for a Nikon D300 with the 18-135mm lens kit with delivery for the next day (19th AUG).
At 11:57 am. I was contacted by customer service and was given my confirmation number, the customer service rep spoke very little English, she was very hard to understand, the customer service rep was unable to tell me if my order would in fact be shipped today.
At 4:00 pm today I logged into my Buydig account to check my order status, only to find there is no record of having placed an order.
From 4:15 pm until 7:00 pm I wrote several e-mails to customer service asking for clarification and requesting my delivery tracking number. I also dialed their customer service numbers. each attempt at dialing Buydig numbers that are listed on their web site, resulted in an recording saying
to dial the correct number. Buydig did not reply to any of my e-mails requesting status of my order nor was I able to speak to a customer service rep.
At precisely 7:00 pm the company's phone lines resumed working, and the message I then received
suggested that I call back during customer services hours of operation.
As this saga unfolds, I will give updates on events as they develop.

Ordered a 40" Samsung HDTV on 8/11 and order was picked the same day. The very next day I received a call asking if a delivery date of 8/18 is acceptable. Shipment arrived in A-1 condition, and I saved over $250.00 off the retail price too.
These guys are the very best!

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! Bought a Canon Xsi and SanDisk SD cards. The prices on all were very good and all came just as described. Their website is easy to use. I would definitely buy through them again. Bonus: No shipping or sales tax!

I recently bought a 32 inch Samsung HDTV from BuyDig and was pleased to get free 7 to 9 day delivery. I was even more pleased when my new TV arrived in only 5 days. It was in perfect shape and performs as advertised. This is my second major purchase from BuyDig, and I am sure that I will buy from them again.

I'd dealt with their sister company, beachcamera.com, so I felt comfortable ordering from buydig.com. I purchased the Canon Xsi kit for $699 on a Friday night at 9:00 PM CST. Chose free shipping and received the camera on the following Thursday. No problems whatsoever. Very easy transaction. No one called to try to upsell me. I'll do business with them in the future.

Over all a very good experience. Only drawback was that my online "order status" never showed any order or tracking information - but that was all Emailed to me after calling to confirm order was indeed received. Item exactly as stated, very good price, and delivered in a timely fashion.
I would purchase from them again as well as reccomend to family/friends.

Very quick order processing and delivery. I am quite pleased with the camera I purchased, (Olympus 1030SW) so far so good with great underwater shots and durability for camping and fishing in all sorts of weather. I recommend the product to anyone who loves to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about their fragile camera (no more zip lock bagging mine when I fish), whether its because of rainy weather or muddy trails, or even having a slight case of "butterfingers".
I was very happy with their customer service aswell. I was in direct correspondence with one of their representatives regarding a credit for an order I had to cancel, he was extremely helpful and patient with my questions regarding the transaction, and he even called me personally to update me on the status of the credit (thank you Joe).
BuyDig turned out to be a great choice for me. I don't usually buy expensive electronics online and I did so much research about reliable sites to purchase from. In the end buydig was the cheapest and most reliable, their ratings for quality and delivery time were consistently good and their customer service was exceptional.

I was satisfied from the rating here and ordered a Canon XSi (body only) on Monday morning with regular (free) shipping. The camera arrived Thursday afternoon.
Everything was in the box, and it was exactly as described. The transaction could not have been handled more professionally.
The only negative was my own personal dislike of having to be home to sign for a delivery, but BuyDig.com had clearly stated this would be the case on their Web site, and given the nature of the package (small & expensive), I can appreciate their extra care!
