"I placed an order for a Christmas present Dec 8th. It's been a week and it still hasn't shipped. I found out that buy.com is not an actual vendor -- they send your order to another vendor for fulfillment and have no way of checking the status of the order, or if the item is even in stock. To make it worse, when you call customer support your call goes to India and you get some jackass who could care less. They told me they would "escalate the issue" and that I would be contacted via e-mail -- that never happened, so they are liars as well as useless morons.
I canceled the order with them and went to newegg.com. It should arrive by Wednesday of next week. I think it's better to pay a little for shipping and actually have it arrive on time. When newegg says they have something in stock they really mean it. buy.com sucks, newegg rocks. "

"Very poor expierience. Cancelled the new Harry Potter book on order in February, it shipped in July even though I recieved a confirming the cancel email. Buy.com said it was already in the pipeline and the order could not be stopped. Five months for an item not yet printed. Customer service was all prefab responses.this was my 2nd poor experience.It's my last!"
"Please do not place any orders at buy.com. I had very very bad experience in returning the items. My friends also had the same problem to get their refund. I recommend not to place any order. They had very very ppro customer service. You will not get good service. They will not try to understand the situation. They read wahtever is posted on the website. I have 50 pages email conversation ..still no luck. I have not got my money refunded. Infact I have not got proper answer from them,..."
