Butterfly Photo is not just for photo equipment. We ordered a Weber Summit Grill for the best price on the Internet. Ordered it on a Friday with no shipping cost and was told it would be 8 to 10 days, which we thought would be okay, even though we wanted it faster. We tracked it online and it left New Jersey the day we placed the order, was in Ohio two days later and in Chicago on Monday. The delivery service called to schedule delivery and we had it delivered on Tuesday. That is only 4 days after ordering it with an expected 8-10 day delivery. My hats off to Justin, who was pleasant on the phone and got the order correct and on its way in record time. Also, thanks to everyone else in shipping this order and delivering it to a family that can't wait to use it and will use it for years. I would order from Butterfly Photo again and tell all my friends that it's "one of the best". Thanks

Promise is a promise. When you decided to purchase your new electronics online, you certainly expected great price with extraordinary purchase experience. When I was ordering my new Nikon D300 camera, I called three top rated companies and decided to purchase through Steve C at ButterflyPhoto (800-339-9960 ext. 204). This was a very pleasant buy experience that Steve did greatly job. The shipment was quick, however I found it was not the exactly product I wanted. I called Steve the second day, he investigated and asked return the camera for change. I learned the Butterfly Photo ran out of inventory that they have to coordinate with their business partner for a new body. I mentioned we will have vocation soon and would like to have the camera as soon as possible, Steve promised he will try his best to have the camera on the day I expected. I appreciate he worked very close with his colleague JD that make all magic happened. Guess what! They shipped me the right product with overnight carrier! Thank you Steve and JD so much for the great job.

I ordered a Panasonic Lumix TS1 in orange, because they had it below retail and supposedly in stock. Turns out they had sold out of the orange version, but the website still has it listed "in stock." I received a call the next afternoon informing me that it was not in stock and if I wanted the green or silver version. I really did want the orange, so I asked for free shipping (I paid for 2nd day air). I was given $10 off shipping and was told it would ship immediately. Fair enough, so I settled for green. Five minutes after I was off the phone I received a tracking number. Pretty good service. I was also told they only update their stocks once a day. Good customer service, except they need to invest in real-time inventory levels.

I ordered Samsung LN46B750 46" 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV LN46B750U1FXZA on June 01, 2009 in the evening online.
I got a phone call in the morning on June 2, 2009 from Victor trying to sell me some additional things (extended warranty, HDMI cables, expedited shipping[instead of free 7-10 business days]). I rejected all offers and although the sales rep sounded disappointed, the whole conversation lasted a couple minutes. The sales rep tried to tell me that expedited shipping would assure less travel of the item and less chance of damage although that didnt make sense as it ships from the same warehouse and item's damage-free delivery should be guaranteed regardless.
After calling on June 04, 2009 I found out it was shipping that day. I am not sure if my call sped things up or not but I was pleasantly surprised.
I got an email/call from Manna Distribution Services regarding scheduling a delivery. I set up the delivery on June 09, 2009 12-4pm(earliest was 8am-12 pm). Got a call at around 11:10 am saying they were at my house which surprised me a bit as the message sounded as though they were about to leave.
I got my tv today and inspected both the box and the contents. Everything appeared to be damage free. I connected my tv to cable and it worked fine.
I am overall very happy with my purchase. The same tv at Best Buy was 2600+$ + 10% tax + S&H vs 1740$ at ButterFlyPhoto.com . The same tv was over 2000$ on Amazon.

I was very pleased with Butterfly Photo. I received the product in a timely manner in the exact condition I expected based on the description I had read Online. I would feel comfortable ordering from them again.

I ordered a Nikon D90 from this store, after searching and reading reviews for weeks. The price was lower than most other big name stores. But everything turn out great. I did exactly as they said in their website, noticing the bank since my shipping address is different from originall billing address, and I called them to confirm that. Then my order was processed right after with "Manual verification" status. I received my camera just 1 day after. No phone call hassel, no trying to sell overpriced accessories.
I like to thank Butterflyphoto for a good service and give you another star.

No problems whatsoever. I ordered the product late in the day, and received a notice that it had shipped that night. The product is in excellent condition, and was as advertised. I would definitely recommend this retailer.

I ordered a Canon Powershot SX10IS from Butterfly earlier this month as a graduation present for my daughter to use on an upcoming trip to Seattle. I ordered the camera on 5/2, but my daughter did not open it until she returned home from college last week, about 20 days later. The camera did not work, so I called Butterfly to make an exchange. The customer service rep explained that they have a 14 day return policy and, therefore, could not exchange the camera. I was very unhappy that I was left with a broken camera and had to go through Canon to get the camera fixed, so I wrote an email to the company to express my frustration. To my surprise, about an hour after sending my email, a supervisor at Butterfly called me and explained the reason for their 14 day policy, and asked what he could do to make things better. While he could not replace the camera, he did offer a free extended warranty option on the new camera, and apologized for the inconvenience of having to deal with the manufacturer. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the phone call, apology and offer, and it certainly changed my impression of Butterfly's customer service. I would purchase from them again. [Samsung still has my television. Butterfly Photo strictly adhears to their confusing policy of not offering any type of exchange for any television over 19" no matter what.]
Update:
[Steve with Butterfly Photo spoke to me regarding this issue on 5/25. Butterfly Photo is not able to replace my Samsung Television. They have tried to work out arrangements to compensate me for my problems by offering me an extension to my warranty, or by offering me a warranty on another purchase. ]
I purchased a new Samsung LED HDTV. I received the TV on 5/18. Right out of the box the remote control did not work. I contacted Samsung to arrange for a replacement. I configured another remote to work in the interim. Once I got the TV up and running it started shutting down and then restarting itself immediately after it shut itself down. This would happen about every 30 minutes. On several occasions when I would turn the TV on the TV would start clicking repeatedly and would not turn on. The only way to get it to stop was to unplug it from the wall.
I contacted Samsung on 5/19 and they created a ticket. I received a call from the repair center today 5/21 and they said that they could not come pick it up until 5/28 and that when they did come they would have to take it to their shop for 1 to 2 weeks.
I contacted Butterfly Photo to try and work out some way of getting a new television. They stated that if I were to send my TV to them for exchange that they would not replace it. They would simply send it in for repair and then send it back to me.
I asked them If I could do a cross ship. They told me no. I also had asked if I could purchase another television from them and then return this defective Television at my expense. They said yes, but they would charge me a restocking fee for the returned TV. WHO CHARGES RESTOCKING FEE'S FOR DEFECTIVE ITEMS? I mean really... are you going to restock it??
Simply put, if you buy a Television from this vendor, you the consumer have NO avenue for a timely resolution. They wash their hands of "customer service"

I can't believe the deal I got from ButterFly Photo. Sales person Steven Clendenny X204 was the
best! He suggested a lot of things to purchase and wasn't pushy. I upgraded my 37" Panasonic TV
to a 2009 and absolutely love it! Steven told me
it would be delivered in 10-12 days and it was
exactly that. I will highly recommend all my
friends to call Steven and ButterFly Photo in the
future. This was the first time ever to order a
TV on the internet and I will do it again for
Christmas when I purchase a 60" TV. Thanks again

Butterfly Photo has some of the best prices around and more important a knowledgeable staff to answer all my questions. Delivery was extremely fast, I’d called my order in Wednesday and received my product on Friday pretty fast..
I like the dedication of these 2 Guys (Steven C. and Victor F.) so much that I went back to them for another LCD. Great Company

Hi People how you doing. I just want to inform you about my experience with Butterfly photo i bought an XBR 8 at an insane price. I got my TV then an incidident happened, but they were quick to fix it. Steven Clendenny (x 204) went out of his position helping me out all the way and the customer service rep (x 243) she was also extremely nice taking care of my order. Bottom line i had a positive experience with Butterfly photo. Pretty sure you will have one too. Any one that needs a good quality TV will hear about Butterfly from me.

Bought a canon SX200, new in box, everything was included. Steven, ext 204, was very helpful in when I was choosing a camera. Price was fair. Beware of scammers who offer a low price but you never get your product. This is an honest business. Steven was a straight shooter and very helpful

My first foray into online ordering of a significantly expensive item went without a hitch. I ordered on line a 65 inch Panasonic Plasma. I recieved a call the next day with a soft sell on a few extras, including upgraded shipping. I declined and that was that. I received e-mails from Butterfly and the shipper letting me know where the tv was. Shipping was free and amounted to "Threshold" delivery, which is damn near white glove anyway. I would recomend them for your purchases.

I bought a wonderful Nikon D90 and I had a special and pleasant experience. I put my order on Monday for 3-5 days Shipping, and call them to know when expect to receive, so Mr. Justin asked me about when I'd like to receive my camera and I said Friday! he told me: I'll put for 2nd day and no extra charge...
Finally I received my camera yesterday (Wednesday) 2 days before accorded.
Excellent support, helpful, friendly, very Good price...
