I live in Santa Cruz, CA. Their address is in Los Angeles, CA. I have shipped many items back and forth and UPS ground is MAYBE 3 days. 8 days later (no holidays) the items are still not here. Customer service consists of email tag. Their shipping/tracking info is garbage. I will never order from this company again.

Wow! If only I had looked at this review of this company before I had ordered merchandise from their website. I had ordered a mere wristwatch on June 12, 2009 from www.botachtechnical.com. Their website says that the funds for payment of merchandise will be removed from credit cards AFTER the merchandise is sent. I was actually HAPPY when I discovered that the money had been removed from the credit card. After a week, no wristwatch. I had even spotted them a weekend! I really, really wish that I had looked at this website before I had ordered that watch from Botach Technical. Well at least I know now that I can expect to not receive my order.  
 
I have an update to my review of BotachTactical.com. Just when I had written off as lost the money I had spent for my merchandise, and was prepared to report the credit card as stolen because of the unscrupulous nature of that business as read online, my roommate called them and someone actually answered the phone. Seems that they had run out of the merchandise that I had purchased and had not updated their website to reflect this fact. They offered a replacement for my merchandise that is not what I want, but would suffice. I have updated this review because I did not want to be unfair to BotachTechnical. I received my merchandise yesterday, June 26, 2009, and am happy with it.

I have ordered thousands of dollars of products from this company over the past couple of years. Botach is a great source of those “sometimes hard to get” items and equipment that I rely on a daily basis in my line of work and play time.  
If you are an AR-15 (M16) and all the clones fan, SIG SAUER SIG 556, etc. GET THE H&K SA80 magazines. They are built like a tank! It is true you pay twice as much for it over the aluminum and plastic magazines, but I can not emphasize how great they are. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have I had any type of malfunction or failure, associated with an H&K SA80 magazine. Colt, DPMS, Bushmaster and all of the other “so called” “Mil Spec” magazines that are out there, H&K is the greatest! At $39.95 as offered by Botach, the H&K steel magazine are a steal compared to $60 or more everyway else. With this information, you better snatch them up and as many as you possibly can afford. It is worth it even if you have to go into extra debt to get them. They will never let you down.  
Yes, they (Botach) are not the best communicators in the world.  
They (Botach) will never return emails, NEVER.  
Yes, you have to be tenaciously persistent to speak directly to a customer service representative and sales associate if you call by phone. Don’t leave a message; they (Botach) will not call back.  
Yes, items are sometimes out of stock. Face it America, GUN STUFF is getting harder and harder to find as the upcoming “Revolution” or “Civil War” gets closer to fruition. The rest of us that has any common sense who can see the writing on the wall and are stockpiling so we will have the ability to take our country back from the idiots that want to make the government larger and more intrusive than it already is.  
Yes, I hate their (Botach) return policy as it only allows something like two weeks to have the item/s arrive, evaluate it and decide if you need to return it or not. My worst complaint was I bought multiples of the same item and by the time I discovered one of them had a manufactures' defect, it was beyond the return policy. After explaining the situation to a CSR over the phone they still would not allow me to return it for a replacement.  
Overall, my rating of Botach, when they have something, it is usually at the best price out there with decent shipping fees.  
Once I was double billed for the same order on my credit card. Mistakes happen, I understand, it happens. I brought it to their attention and they did not quite fix it fast enough for my satisfaction. Botach got a little upset with me because I guess the credit card company gives them some grief and adds extra charges. The explanation I received was they have a very thin margin of profit and every penny counts. It all worked out for me though. As a consumer, a consumer that purchases products online, you have to stay on top of all transactions.

DISAPPOINTED! I read all the negative reviews, but found a couple positive ones. So, I decided to give Botach the benefit of the doubt. I contacted their customer service on two (2) separate occasions, in reference to the availability of the products and the speed of shipping BEFORE I would place an order. I was pleased to receive a prompt reply by Mica and I was assured by two (2) corresponding emails that ALL the items I requested were in stock and available for shipping. So, I placed my order on the same day. HOWEVER, I JUST received an email from Shannon, stating some of the magazines were NOT IN STOCK OR AVAILABLE; the day following the confirmation of availability and order placement. Luckily, I contacted them directly and spoke with AJ, who canceled my order. Its ridiculous this vendor is still in business. I WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM, nor will I recommend them. DISAPPOINTING...no wonder the prices seem so good, they do not have the products!

Listen to the reviews. Avoid Botach! I ordered from them in March, and my order never shipped. They have no communication and did not respond to my efforts. Awful!

Botach Tactical gets many bad reviews, but I decided to try them anyways. I placed an order for a tactical flashlight kit with them. I received the order promptly and it was exactly as described, no issue.  
 
Botach has a large inventory of hard to find parts, and I will definitely end up purchasing from them again.

I must say I was a little concerned after reading the mixed reviews on this website... but I took a chance anyway because they have some of the best prices around and because I was ordering with a credit card so I'd have plenty of recourse in case something went wrong. However, I did not experience any problems ordering from them. I placed my order (over $300) at around 18:30 on 5/20/09 and got confirmation of order receipt via email that same day. I got an email that my order shipped on 5/21/09 and I followed the UPS tracking number daily until the order arrived as expected on 5/28/09 (I'm across the continent in NY). The order was adequately packed without being over-packaged and everything arrived in perfect condition. My credit card was charged properly. I'd recommend them and would order from them again without hesitation. This was a textbook perfect internet commerce transaction.

After reading these less than average reviews, I still decided to buy from Botach because they had a great deal on a watch I wanted. I figured since they were local (Los Angeles), if there were any problems I could just go to their place and pick it up. Turns out everything went very smoothly, I ordered on the 24th and the product arrived today, the 27th double packaged in a UPS bag and box!  
 
Not sure why this place doesn't get great reviews, they get two thumbs up from me.

Unfortunately, they do bad business. I wish that I had read the reviews on this site before ordering. There are two separate departments: one for placing orders and one for shipping/tracking. I was told that an item was in stock before placing the order, and that my "stimulus" discount (10%)would be applied to the order. Neither of which was true. With as many complaints as they have; it is distubing that a merchant company would allow this activity on their merchant account. Today, I called the number for placing "new orders" to find that the items has been on back-order and could be a month or more before they actually have the item in stock. For items that are hard to find; pay the extra 25% elsewhere to avoid the headache.

They advertise low prices on stuff and then you place the order and you get nothing. You call them and they put you on hold and forget about you and then you email them for a status on your order and they email you someone else's tracking number in a different state. I wanted to order some ASP pepper spray batons from them and after a few weeks of receiving nothing, I emailed them and told them that they should just cancel my order if they had not done so already. Thank goodness this wasn't something that I really needed quickly. Would never deal with them again. Terrible.

After over a week, contacted seller only to find out item was not in stock.

I don't know how these people stay in business. I ordered a pair of boots and a few gun accessories carefully avoiding anything on their website that was listed as not in stock. After several weeks of waiting I sent an email, then another. No response. I finally called them directly and they said that they no longer had my credit card info because more than 30 days had passed! They assured me their shipping department would handle things promptly so I gave them the number again and waited a week, again nothing, not even an email confirmation. Unbelievable. So I canceled the order after almost 6 weeks of waiting.  
This company lures you with low prices, but as they say, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Botach Tactical is a Scum-Bag outfit. They sell stuff they don't have. They are trying to screw me out of $350.00 right now. If you call, your placed on hold forever... they don't reply to e-mails because they don't want canceled orders... Heck, they might have to do something honest like refund your money... BEWARE! I order lots of stuff on the internet and this is the worst place I've ever delt with. Several orders from them went OK but if there is the slightest issue... your screwed. BEWARE!!!

I recently made an order with Botach Tactical and was a little hesitant due to the fact that my first experience with the company did not go so well. But decided to give it another shot after a few of my co-workers had good experiences. I called to check on the status of my order and was assisted by Sagi. He advised me that he would check on the order and get back to me. Within an hour to an hour and a half, I received an email explaining the status of my order. Sagi assisted me in changing my order due to an out of stock item and advised me that my order will ship next week, when another item I ordered arrives. Sagi, customer service was very professional and helpful. He has restored my faith in Botach and I looked forward to ordering from the company again in the future.

Stay away if you don't want headaches. Order anything from Botach and you'll regret it the rest of your life. In case you don't understand what I'm saying.... STAY AWAY FROM BOTACH TACTICAL !!!!!!
