"I have rented from BorrowLenses.com twice now. The first time I rented the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 and most recently the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8. Both rentals were in superb condition. I was impressed with the ease and 'no strings attached' means of renting the lenses. And most recently, I was incredibly impressed with the ease of working with customer service to extend my rental. Very personable and understanding.

I am so impressed and will continue to rent lenses to 'try before I buy' and to use for special projects.

The other thing I will mention is the rental prices are competitive, if not the best out there. I highly recommend BorrowLenses.com "

"I rented the Nikon 17-15 mm lens for Kentucky Derby coverage. The lens was great capturing people in a crowd setting. I ended up checking out a lens at the Nikon booth for shooting actual racing. The delivery time was right on time. Customer service reps were helpful and friendly. I see my self renting another lens from here. Even though I like supporting my local mom and pop camera shop, their prices don't come close to BorrowLenses. Highly satisfied! Great way to test drive before buying. "

"Borrowlens are simply the best!!! I've been renting stuff here for 2yrs now and they never let me down. The customer service is topnotch, professional and very friendly. Whenever I have question regarding how to set up my gears and what lens and other stuff to use they always help me out =) My last transaction with them was last Monday (05/21/2012) I was on my way to return some stuff and it was 6:00pm when I called them that I'm on my way. They waited and open the door for me and that is really nice. I live in Fairfield by the way and it took me 2 hours to get there of course with a very bad traffic. Thank you very much Borrowlens more power to you guys and more success too!!!"

"I was very happy with the service and shipping options for my order. I rented a Nikon D800 w/ a 28-70 2.8 and 910 strobe for a wedding across the counrty. In the rush to get gear packed and make my flight I missplaced/lost the shipping manifest and return shipping label. The Borrowlenses help desk got me a replacement shipping label quickly. The only glitch to the experince was lack of time to get familar with an amazing but complicated camera system before shooting a large wedding. the problems in this situation were the fault of the photographer, not camera! I broke a cardinal rule: never go into a high stress job with equipment your not totally familar with!

"I had such a nice experience with BorrowLenses and look forward to renting in the future. It was wonderful to use high quality equipment for a reasonable fee, though I wish it could have been a bit cheaper (but I'm a student so I wish everything was cheaper). It was a little dangerous renting the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L & Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L for three weeks...I thought they were actually mine a few times. Thank you so much BorrowLenses!"

"We rented the Nikon 70-300 to take along at our kid's soccer tournament. We are very inexperienced photographers with an entry-level body (D3000) but the pictures came out great. The website was easy to use, the delivery and return was as simple as their advertising states - all around it was a fantastic experience. We will be using the service again and have several friends who will be using it for the first time after seeing our experience over the weekend."

"What a great service! The convenience of having a lens delivered to my office for a one week rental and including the return shipping label all for the same price as a three day rental at a major shop in Los Angeles where I have to pick it up and return it in person. I love this!"

"I've used BorrowLenses once. When I returned the rental item I asked for a written statement that the item was not damaged. The clerk thought I was nuts. Would anyone return a rental car without the clerk initialing the form that reports damage? Why wouldn't I do the same with photo equipment rental?

BorrowLenses: Is this an unreasonable request?"
