"I was looking for some slacks for my husband with an adjustable waistband. After doing a Google search I found them on Blair.com I was not looking to pay the price they were asking for them but I did find similar slacks with an elastic band sewed into the sides so I decided to order them. The site was easy to navigate and they had many good prices on their items they were clearing out. After finding the slacks, I signed onto their Facebook page and found a great offer for jackets that I missed on their website as well as a promo code for free shipping. I did see some very unfavorable reviews on the Internet about their customer service but I decided to place the order anyway. The only thing that I found a little strange was that it took 4 days for my order to be processed for shipping. Perhaps since I was not paying for shipping, my order went to the bottom of the stack. When the order did arrive, everything was just lovely, nicer than I imagined and fit perfectly so there was no disappointment or need to return anything. I would definitely order from Blair again."

"Blair should participate here @ resellerratings.com So should another outstanding clothing retailer Haband. I have purchased clothing yearly from Blair since 1988 and I have not had a single problem with them (or with Haband). I wonder if the reviews of them are from actual customers of from Internet activists upset than both companies were forced to shut down their US Clothing Plants? Neither would exist tody if they had not resorted to off shore clothes manufacturing, as the unions made it impossible for them to compete with Walmart & other retailers who switched to foreign sources in the 1980s. If that is your issue with Blair, say so. Do not lie and call them theiving and incompetent retailers. Blair remains an outstanding mail order retailer & they maintain their quality line of mainstream style clothing.
Note: Blair is no fly by night company. It was one of the pioneers of direct marketing over 100 years ago and its efficiency was presented as a study model to ivy league MBA students for many years. In 2007, 400 million dollar a year revenue Blair merged with Appleseed a major holding of Golden Gate Capital. Shareholders were given 47.50 a share for their Blair stock. Appleseed also owns Haband, another major direct marketing clothing seller.
My ongoing regular experience with both companies is the opposite of what is reported here. "
"BLAIR.com IS BAD. I have been charged $14.95 per month since June 2009 without my knowledge. Good clothes at fair prices, but check you credit cards bill. Shame on Blair."

"Piss poor service. I will never buy from them again. One item not shipped. Three weeks later a postcard arrives saying the rest my order would ship in 10 days. 20 days later I try to find out what's up. Their website is down, next day still down. Nothing. No phone number on the postcard. I finally get through after numerous calls to corp HQ; then cust serv; "Your order is backordered until at least Jan. 8, 2011 (75 days after the initial order). Couldn't you inform me of this??? No answer. Everyday my mailbox receives some promo or another, yet there's no time for updating me on my back ordered item. Don't accept my money if you can't provide what you've agreed to sell me. It's in the Uniforn Commercial Code. Ask any Lawyer."
"All of you people are nuts. I have been ordering from Blair for 6 years and have never had a problem with them. Yes, they are bit slow to ship but otherwise they are a very reliable company. You can always get in contact with a representative. I have even returned some items that were 2 years old and they accepted it."
"I ordered two floral nightgowns. They took forever to ship (I got them over two weeks after ordering) and they are both coming apart near the lace insets a few weeks later. They were also both stiff for the first three or so washes. They were relatively inexpensive (16.99/each) but were cheaply made even for that price.
Along with the nighties, I also ordered a three jumpers that were on clearance. I checked the size chart before ordering and once they were tried on, the sizes varied incredibly even though they were the same size. One hung off of the person I bought it for. One was just slightly too big. The third fit nearly perfectly. Since they were on clearance, and they were cute, she just went ahead and had them altered instead.
I have seen some cute clothes for my mom in there (who I bought the previous clothes for), but I do not plan on ordering from them again. How they've stayed in business this long is beyond me."

"I received part of the order within a reasonable time. 2 of the pieces sent needed another piece to make them useful. That piece never came. In May Blair sent me an e-mail saying they had canceled it. I sent back the other pieces and am now waiting for my refund. Very poor company to do business with. NEVER AGAIN."
"Avoid dealing with this company!! Blair's scam is to try to trick you into signing their promotion and start charging you membership fees. I bought one item from them September 2008 since then every month they charged $14.95 from my CC. I Have tried to contact with them but it is impossible. Do not fall for their trick! I'd never buy from Blair."
"HORRIBLE!!!Will not answer my e-mail and keep phone lines blocked so you can't reach them by phone. Worst customer service i have ever seen. STAY AWAY"
