"I ordered about 100.00 worth of party supples from Celebrate Express. When I received them I checked to make sure everything was there and it was. I had ordered a banner with "Happy Birthday Mia" on it. I didn't realize until it was hung that "Happy" was SPELLED WRONG!! I called the company and was told I would get a refund. After a couple weeks and not receiving it I called again. At that time I was told that they had changed their minds and I wouldn't be getting a refund after all. I won't do business with a company that can't spell Happy and won't refund when THEY spell it wrong."
"Called them after a week, and the order was not shipped because they have "too many orders". Probably it's time to not shop from them so they can catch up with the orders :-("
"I placed an order on 10/11/07 and called to cancel the order on 10/15/07. Since I waited on hold for 15 minutes and did not know if my call would actually be answered, I also sent an e-mail requesting that the order be cancelled. A customer service rep finally answered the call and he assured me that the order would be cancelled. I never received a response from my e-mail cancellation request, so I assumed that the order was successfully cancelled.On 10/19/07 I received a message that my order was just shipped. I promptly called Customer Service once again and waited for another 15 minutes and explained my problem. The solution? Call back when I receive the order (and wait on hold for another 15 minutes) and they would take care of it then.Don't order from this company. Their idea of Customer Service is an absolute joke."
"I ordered a Halloween costume for our daughter from this site. I received a confirmation e-mail that the order had been received. When I placed the order, the site said that the costume would be available to ship starting September 14.September 14 came and went. On September 18 I checked the order status online and it said that the item was backordered. I contacted Celebrate Express's Live Chat help and asked when the costume would be available to ship. They told me that the item had SOLD OUT and would I like my order cancelled? I told the Representative that I had received an order confirmation, and now the costume wasn't available? She said, "No, it must have sold out." I told her to cancel the order. I asked if I could have a confirmation that the order had been cancelled and she said, "Our systems aren't set up to do that." At that point I was so angry that I just hung up. AVOID!"
"Do not buy from this site. They are running the reservationrewards scam. Just google reservationrewards to read about the scam, there are hundreds of links about it."
