This letter is in responds towards the complaint filed against our company by Mr. Judd. We apologize for any consumer poor experience that may had resulted from the transaction. Mr. Judd contacted our company May 20th towards a transaction of Nikon D7000 camera with 7-9 business day ground shipping. Mr. Judd called our company confirming his purchase on May 22nd in which our sales rep offered package deals to best suit his budget. Mr. Judd agreed towards a 15pcs Nikon D7000 camera package which totaled at $1549.99. As noted on our website our company confirmed the transaction with Mr. Judd verbally and processed the transaction within 2-3 business days from ordered date. On May 28th our company shipped Mr. Judd’s order and emailed him a United States Delivery Confirmation 9471 0102 0079 3690 6625 90 which can be tracked via www.usps.com.
On May 31st Mr. Judd contacted our company stating he never received his delivery and was very irate with our staff. We understood his warrant for concern and assured him that either he received his package or get a full refund if it does not arrive. The same day Mr. Judd contacted our company we placed an insurance claim with the United States Post Office to investigate Mr. Judd’s claims. Our company informed Mr. Judd that we are actively investigating the whereabouts of his order and must wait 7-10 business days for a resolution.
Mr. Judd continued to insult our staff and threaten to post negative comments about our company because he wanted a refund immediately. What Mr. Judd failed to understand is that the missing package must be declared missing by the United States Postal Service prior to our company proceeding with reimbursement towards credit card account.
Bestpriceelectronics.com did nothing illegal and tried to resolve this matter as fast as possible. However, there are processes all companies must encounter prior reaching a final resolution. As of June 6th Mr. Judd was given a FULL REFUND in advance prior to the United States Postal Service reaching a conclusion. In fact USPS called Mr. Judd today (June 14th 2011) requesting a notarized letter declaring he never received the online order (see attached email from Mr. Judd).
This illustrates by accommodating an irate consumer believing it shall resolve the matter at hand amicably is just a false hope. Even after we refunded Mr. Judd’s credit card in full towards the transaction his negative remarks & complaints against our company had never been removed.
Please keep in mind had the United States Postal Service delivered tracking confirmation 9471 0102 0079 3690 6625 90 to Mr. Judd, this correspondence would had never been discussed. Furthermore, we are a customer to the shipping carriers as Mr. Judd is a customer to us and there are guidelines to follow prior to reaching a resolution. Finally, with Full Refund issued the concern is resolved and we apologize for any poor experience resulting from this transaction.”
"I can't tell if BPE is lazy or just irresponsible. My company ordered an expensive high-end video camera and accessories, and we were told it would arrive in about a week. 2 weeks later, we called and were told it's still coming, but will take another 2 weeks. After waiting 5 weeks, we called again and were told the camera is out of stock. At that point we canceled the order and bought the same items from one of BPE's competitors, and the full order arrived in less than 3 days. BPE showed total incompetence throughout this laborious process and we will never order from them again. Don't make the same mistake my company did."
