"I concur with the other shoppers who said BestDirect.ca does not deliver product to you in a timely fashion, even when they advertise the products as IN STOCK. Irene Law at customer.care@shopstar.ca will stall with excuses, although to be fair she is in fact professional and prompt. I have had very good luck ordering from pc-canada.com as well as the big guys (newegg.ca and amazon.ca are of course awesome). Yes I pay more for the products and/or shipping from these companies but at least their stock status is accurate. BestDirect.ca is a total waste of my time.

EDIT: I finally received my last order 8 days later. At least I received the products and felt I should tell the whole story. They BestDirect.ca eventually came through, but I still won't be using them in the future due to their fake 'IN STOCK' status on their website. FYI"

"They have a real communication problem. The case is simple: as per www the item is on stock, delivered 1-2 days after order. The credit card charged immediately after the order. 7 days later: no news, no delivery. Emails not answered. Called customer service twice, they cannot answer about delivered as their system is down. However the operator has access to your personal data. Strange. "

"Terrible. Ordered a viewsonic projector from them at a low price. No emails or confirmations and all they send is a refund with no explanation.

Terrible service. Much better to go with larger companies that have better ratings. All they want to do is take your information and then give you a refund. Be careful of giving them your credit card information."

"This was my first transaction with bestdirect.ca. I was really scared after reading those comment.

I order 2 parts on tuesday. My first part was sent puro express from toronto. Received it on thursday. Second part was sent form vancouver puro express, received on Friday. Received everything within 3 days. Very good for free shipping.

I will reorder from bestdirect when they have this free shipping promotion.

Edit: I have to modify my review now. My coller is noisy. I need an RMA. It is complicated. They want me to open a case with Corsair. After 3 days, I should be able to return my cooler without any questions asked."

"First time ordering from them, ordered an Epson V600 scanner.
Very fast shiping! impress... Will deal with them again for sure. item is being tracked via Purolator.

"I understand the setup that ShopStar Network and NCIX has as Viking Way there in Richmond, BC. It's a suspicious setup... but whatever works for them I guess. The prices for my parts were better thru BestDirect.ca, and they offered free shipping. I thought since they're pretty much the same company that the processing times would be similar... so instead of doing a price match on NCIX.com, I decided to place the order directly thru BestDirect.ca. Boy I was wrong, it took 1 full week before my order shipped... I was hoping for 1-3 business days (like I've come to expect from NCIX when items are in stock). I even emailed them a few days before it shipped, and they said the order had been processed... but that didn't mean shipped. I'm not angry, just disappointed in the turnaround times... hopefully I don't have to experience their RMA."

"I ordered a set of computer speakers, the logitech z623, really pumped about the product. Website was advertising that the product was in stock and ships within 3 - 5 business days. So on the 20th, seeing that nothing had changed in the status of my order, I decided to call their toll free line to see what was happening. I was told that they had to order the speakers directly from logitech when clearly their website stated that the product was in stock; and that my product should arrive in Vancouver around the 27th and then ship to New Brunswick. So really not worth going through them, I really feel like I have been lied too and I would not recommend anyone to buy from bestdirect, if I wanted to buy from logitech I would of bought from logitech, thankfully they refunded my credit card with absolutely no hassle, that was sadly the only thing that went well. I ordered the same speakers through DirectCanada.ca and hopefully I get better service, after reading many reviews, which I should of done in the first place for BestDirect, and the reviews that have been given 5 stars I guarantee you are fake. Anyways, I think it would be anyone's duty to write a review or even report BestDirect."

"Terrible reseller... I ordered an item, it was listed in stock on the time I was paying for it. Then I was waiting for it to be shipped for 2 days, called them, they say it is ready to be shipped, just waiting to be picked up by a carrier. Waited for another day, called them back, they say, sorry but the item is not in stock... The guy said it will arrive in 1-2 days. Waited for a bit more and cancelled my order. I even had to call them to make sure they did cancel it and send me an invoice cuz they haven't done it right away. I am really surprised how this "company" is still in business."

So stop complaining about it, I just received an order from bestdirect and its writen on the box " From NCIX "

Anyway.. I ordered at least 10 times from them. Always received my things in good condition and fast delievery."
