While placing orders at various sites for items I need to replace, I placed an order on BestByte for a Zalman fan and a few fan screws. I chose the standard shipping which was included, and paid by PayPal. They refunded my payment of $4.70 and told me "Incorrect payment amount. Invoice total is $7.17. Please reorder or resend the correct amount.." I still have the invoice (as well as being able to still view it online) showing the following:
Subtotal: $4.70
Tax: $0.00
Shipping & handling $0.00
Grand Total $4.70
Bait and switch? I don't know, but not very great customer service. I would never expect to have to pay more than an invoice is actually for.
