reply posted Mar-27-2013 “We are sorry to hear this customer was displeased. Our firm has maintained a 5 star reputation with google, CNET, Nextag, Pricegrabber and others for over 12 years. On all 65" plasma TVs (and larger LEDs) we strongly recommend the upgraded shipping. Otherwise the shipping companies only provide curb side delivery with no delivery appointment or inspection services (these are only part of the upgraded delivery).
Unfortunately, this customer did not understand the benefits of the better delivery. When he began cursing at our customer service team they no longer wanted to work with him or felt he was professional in any manner. Verbal assaults are never appropriate and should never be tolerated.
We are still more than willing to offer this customer support but only in the most professional and reasonable circumstances. No one deserves the harassment this customer provided, however, anyone can have a bad day.”

Bob was my salesperson, and worked with me as I was having problems with my bank, concerning releasing the necessary funds. It took most of the day, and Bob was quite polite and professional in aiding me in the transaction. Finally the transaction was completed. The TV was delivered in early May and to this day does not seem to be having any problems, but have yet to try the 3D. The next day a representative named Bob called us to inform us there was an additional "service Fee" of $200 on our product. After asking him what the 'service fee' was for he said it was for shipping. I explained to him his website said free shipping. He proceeded to tell me that no company in the world ships for free and neither do they. While he was on the phone I typed in his compaines webssite address www.bestbuypcs.com and proceeded to check out again to see what the shipping choices were to see if I had somehow made a mistake.. Again one of the choices was "Free shipping 14-21 days curbside delivery $0.00". Bob then began to explain that, that choice was dropping the TV on the curb with absolutely no prior notice. He asked me if I thought that was a good idea? Which I explained I didn't have any concerns as its your shipping policy and if you want to drop a three thousand dollar brand new TV at my curb with no notice I didn't mind since I'm protected by my credit card company. He then told me shipping was $200.00 if I wanted the TV. We went round and round and he went back and forth either claiming they don't offer free shipping that nobody in the world offers free shipping, or kept trying to say they would ship it for free and just leave it in front of house. Everytime I said fine just do that, he would go back to saying he had to charge me $200 for shipping. We refused to pay $200 for free shipping. He hung up. We called back and cancelled the order. Despite white glove delivery and a box in great condition, my 80" TV arrived with a cracked screen. BestBuyPCS began the replacement process immediately. I would NOT recommend buying a tv from this place.<br>I wanted to drive to BestBuyPCS and return the tv until I found out there was a 25% restocking fee. So $400 to restock a tv?!? I'm now stuck with a $1500 tv that I do not want. You are better off spending a few extra bucks and buying a tv from a local store like Costco.
