"Item listed as "ship in 1-2 days" in confirmation email. nothing received, no other communication. Customer service does not answer phone. Live chat told me 'That's backordered 6 weeks". When I asked for more detail, live chat just stopped responding. Plus they billed my cc immediately. Worst customer service in years."

"Similar problem to others. Size of product was not correct. I ordered a set of curtains that were advertised as 95" in length and they measured out to 92.5". Needless to say it did not work for me since I needed it to be exactly as long as described. My refund was denied because of this. I will not do business with this company again and regret having done so in the first place."

"I ordered a chandelier from them that was described as medium in size. When the thing arrived it was large enough for a ballroom, not a dining room. I had no idea that the thing would be delivered by freight due to the size of the box. I knew I would have to return it. What I did not know, is that I would have to pay residential pick up rates, which are a gazillion times business rates. When I contacted Bellacor for a return authorization and asked if they could arrange for pickup by their trucking companay and deduct the cost from my refund, I was told that I was on my own. I did call their trucking company and they told me it would be a minimal charge if I could convince Bellacor to authorize the pick up. Nope, no dice. UPS freight gave my a price of $849.00 and refused to insure it. That was impossible because Bellacor insists on their original packing. I did find a freight facilitator that was able to get Fed Ex to pick it and insure it for $579.00. So what is their game? Obviously they don't want large items returned and their policies make it prohibitive to return them. Buyer beware! Easy returns and no restocking fee didn't help me"
"AVOID this store!! I bought a chandelier from BellaCor for our master bath, and inspected it upon receipt since we were not going to install it for some months. it seemed fine upon receipt. When we finally went to hang it, it was clearly bent frame-wise. I contacted BellaCor and they refused to take it back since it had been more than 30 days....even though they had obviously sent me damaged merchandise. A good, reputable company will do the right thing by the customer, and this company is clearly NOT in that category."
"Purchased 6 cabinet pulls. Beautiful! Very nicely weighted heavy duty polished chrome decorative handles and at a great price! The price was at least 50 percent less than prices I found elsewhere on line. Was able to use an online discount code to reduce the total cost.Including shipping the six pulls were less than 5 bucks apiece. Shipped and received so fast- I couldn't believe that they were already at my door tonight for regular delivery, less than a week!Very well packed and protected. Bellacor supplied a a 10 percent off code for the next order. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Happy budget oriented customer!Very pleased with the entire transaction."

"I ordered a Mini Pendant LED lighting fixture on sale from Bellacor.com on 6/29/2012. It was shipped on 7/5/2012, delivered on7/9/2012. One pendant had a defective LED. I contacted Bellacor on 7/18/2012 and they shipped, out a new fixture on 7/21/2012. No return of old fixture necessary. Excellent customer service. "

"As I was told by a rep there, don't buy on-line, go to a local lighting retailer. Terrible customer service. Light fixture was not color stated on website. When I advised Pam in customer service that the fixture was black not burnished gold they told me I was wrong. She never even saw the item!! I had five other people check it out before deciding to send it back. Everyone said it was black. I was only asking for half shipping charges refunded, as I do take responsibility for the fact that I chose to buy on line. They completely refused any consideration. I will always check out reviews from now on. Pam even told me not to shop on line because this is what you get?? What--aren't they an on-line company, I mean who trained this customer service rep. The rudeness of her response, in addition to poor customer service procedures make this an especially disturbing experience. "

"Don't use them. Their customer service is terrible. Their return policy is ridiculous. They would not take back 2 wall sconces that are in their unopened boxes because it was more than 30 days since they were shipped. Well, by the time construction and moving were complete, time flies and their response was similar to other reviews, "too bad. That's the policy and we don't care what you think". There are plenty of lighting companies out there, use someone else."
" I ordered a wall sconce light which I returned. I was charged $7.95 for shipping but when I returned it according to Bellacor's instructions I was charged $15.89. When I complained I was told that was the UPS charge for an electronic label. As I am quite capable of filling out a shipping label I should have been told of the extra charge and given a choice. When I placed the order Bellacor staff was friendly and efficient. When I was dealing with the staff re the return the person I had to deal with was snippy and unfriendly."
"Ehhh. The only reason I ordered from Bellacor is that they are an authorized dealer for a very good furniture manufacturer (Uttermost). But their prices were the same as everywhere else. And otherwise I tend to believe people's negative reviews rather than the other positive ones.
1. As is somewhat typical, my UPS shipment arrived with box badly damaged but inside ok. Bellacor provides no guidance, and still has not answered my email inquiry, regarding any future shipments: whether they prefer me to refuse such a delivery.
2. I don't know how other people's UPS service is, but UPS doesn't ring MY house doorbell. So I want to know when to expect delivery, to check for damage and to avoid a package from being stolen after being left at my door. Bellacor emailed me a tracking number, but not until after the delivery took place. See the other similar review.
3. I suggested that they offer a shipping option which requires the customer's signature. No reply to that email either.
"Don't use this company! If you need to return something they make you pay the retail cost of sending it. They do not generate a mailing lable for you to give you their cost of shipping. I called to get that and they just quoted their policy and more or less said it was too bad that the way it is. They are making a big mistake. I will never use them again for anything!"

I also received my order quickly which again exceeded my expectations. This was my first order with Bellacor and I am looking forward to shopping with you more. "I ordered a friend's birthday gift from Bellacor. They sell all kinds of stuff - including a metal yard ornament in the shape of a toy poodle which is what I needed. I monitored the online site for shipping info on my order but the site was never updated (minus one star) so I had to take extra time to call customer service. Kevin was so terrific! He said their site and the vendor's site were not correctly communicating and asked if he could call me back. I doubted that he'd ever call but he rang me back within 2 hours with the Fed Ex tracking number and the good news that my gift would arrive on a Saturday. Item was well packaged, well prices and free to ship - yay!"
