Our split king adjustable bed & PacBed Original mattresses have been setup only a week now but we are very pleased so far. We were one of the first in the country to get the new Designer Series adjustable beds (D-122) & they are just what we needed. With an expensive king bed with headboard, footboard & side rails, adjustable beds create a problem with the bedskirt. How does the bedskirt move with the bed as it adjusts? The new Designer Series beds take care of that by being covered in four different fabric selections to coordinate with your bedding. The fit of the two twin XL adjustable beds within our bed "casement" (headboard, footboard & side rails) is perfect & looks just like it did before when the box springs were covered by the bedskirt. In addition, I have acid reflux & medically needed the head of the bed higher than the foot. This was accomplished by ordering different length legs for the heads & feet of the beds. The adjustable beds are at a slight inline within the king bed "casement" without having to change the bed "casement" at all. We also got the waterproof terry cloth covers & Outlast Beyond Basic mattress pads. Our customer service representative, Lisa, was very helpful in answering all of our numerous questions and reassuring me that their excellent return policy was as advertised. The bed arrived without problem, and we were very surprised to find the much talked about mattress foam odor was non-existent. Our Silk Elegance Comfort Adjust with cool gel foam has been wonderful to sleep on for the past two nights. So far no shoulder pain which was a constant in our old mattress. The foam does take an adjustment period, especially for sitting on the bed periphery which does not have additional support foam. So far we have been very happy with the quality of the bed and Bed-in-a-Box's customer support.
