"I order approximately 150 items a month from Amazon (Business and Personal) and by far the worst seller is Beach Camera. I go through many returns and after 5 years Beach is the ONLY one I've had issues with. I purchased a TV from them the first time and it was defective. So I returned it and ordered another one. Unfortunately, three months later and I still don't have my money back. I've contacted them and each time it was some excuse. The first time was "we never got the shipment", then apparently they found it and said "oh, we got it but it never got scanned", then it was "you'll get your money in 4 to 6 days". Well, three months now and no money. I've filed a complaint and charge back with my credit card company. Too tired of dealing with them. I've notified my contacts to avoid them as well as we all use Amazon and they are all over Amazon. The product was fine though, just not the customer service. "

"DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! They ARE a bait and switch company. I ordered a camera from them and apparently they were out of stock, although I ordered it over the phone and was assured it was in stock. I got my order confirmation a few minutes later. The next day I got my shipping confirmation and the wrong camera model was shipped. I called and their response was "We think this is a better camera" WHO ARE THEY to determine what product I want...I wanted the model ordered. They gave me the run-around and am currently contacting my lawyer and credit card company. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE...even if I end up being credited back, the woman I spoke to was nice but the management has some nerve thinking they can pull a fast one on me!! "

"Outstanding experience. I found the camera $50 cheaper on Amazon.com two weeks after purchasing. Beach Camera matched the price, refunded me for the difference, no hassle whatsoever. I've bought several camera items from them over the years, and they've always been outstanding. Very highly recommended"

"Do not buy from THIS people. Look at my experience!

I bought SONY (?) memory card sf-64uy/tq1 and my Canon can't see it.I sent email to Beach Camera and ticket code was generated (LTK12138012829X. Next weeks I haven't have any respond from customer support.

I decide to call SONY and they told me that model # (SF64UY) of this memory card is not recognizing in there database, suggesting me to contact the place of purchase to get the software for this model. They cant give me ANY advice how to get driver to that memory card !!!

"Great customer service. I bought an inexpensive micro SD card and it stopped working with less than a month of use in my smart phone. Beach Camera is sending me a replacement without having to go through the RMA process which wasn't worth it for this inexpensive item."

"I was so pleased with everything about my transaction with Beach Camera, from the reasonable pricing to the intuitive bundling of products that came with our new Sony camcorder (can't think of a single thing more that we could need!) to the FAST shipping (ordered at noon on Friday, received via FedEx Saturday delivery the very next day!), everything was perfect.

Beach Camera will now be my first stop when I'm in the market for their products, and I shared them with family members over the weekend who were equally impressed with how thoughtfully the camera bundle was assembled. Thanks Beach Camera! "

"Recently, I was on the hunt for a good superzoom to take on my trip to Malaysia, Cambodia, Viet Nam etc. I did some research and decided on the Sony DSC-HX300. Ray the rep at Beach Camera, was very personable and helpful and made the experience top notch You are #1 Ray...he sold me a great bundle deal at less than the advertised price. He is what customer service is all about."

"Several weeks ago I purchased a semi-professional camera from BuyDig's (owners of Beach Camera) site. Upon receiving it, I suspected something wasn't right with the camera. At that point, I already dreaded the situation: this was my first purchase from BuyDig, and from previous dealing with other companies, I expected a combative customer service representative who would be quick recite some unknown term of agreement exonerating them from replacing the product, as well as shift the burden and cost of replacement to me.

However, when I called BuyDig's support line, I was greeted by Nancy, a customer support representative. To my surprise, Nancy was the antithesis of the typical customer service representative: she was patient, understanding, and truly on my side. She assured me that BuyDig will do everything in their power to rectify the situation. Nancy then transferred me to Bill, Director of Sales, who, too, took every measure to help. I truly felt that Bill's objective was to win me as a lifelong customer rather than make a few extra bucks on this particular purchase.

In our conversation, Bill and I agreed that we speak a few days later, after I evaluate the camera on my terms. Upon further investigation on my part, it turned out that the camera was perfectly ok and that the "odd" things I reported were simply the manufacturer's factory settings, rather than BuyDig's fault. Nevertheless, in our conversation a few days later, although I reported everything was ok with the camera, Bill offered me several courses of action, just to be sure that I was happy with my purchase.

As mentioned, this was my first purchase from BuyDig. I initially purchased the camera at BuyDig because of the attractive price. However, due to the superb customer service I experienced, I will certainly buy from them again in the future."

"Got and email with a terrific deal on 4 GB flash memory card and I love terrific deals. Went to order it and it was "out of stock." Thought that to be rather strange since I was trying to order it on the 1st day of the sale. Sent an email to the "Sales Management" department and voiced my disappointment that they would make an offer that they couldn't fill. A rep got back to me, I think within the hour, and set me up with a 8 GB memory card at the same price as the smaller one. Now, we're not talking about hundreds of dollars, however, we are talking about principle. Beach Camera showed me they we more interested in my satisfaction than they were a profit. For that they regained my loyality as a regular customer. "

"The order desk, gentleman by the name of Saul, at Beach Camera prevented a $1,211.04 fraudulent charge to my credit card in the beginning of February by calling my telephone number to verify the shipping address which was not mine.
Thanks to their caution, they prevented a substantial amount of work that I would have had to reverse charges.
I wish all venders used that measure of caution and there may be fewer cases of fraud."
