"My e-mails were answered quickly within the same day and within less than 24 hours the next day. The responses were clear and helped my situation directly. They also seemed to try to calm down any panic on my side of installing the software.

They even offered to re-send a link with a new product key if I inadvertently lost one of the 2 installations that comes with your software purchase. How nice is that? Thank you Ashley. "

"I would like to say that I am very satisfied with Bargainsoftwareshop.com. I got my download the next business day, but had some issues with the install. Tech support spent all day emailing back and forth to solve the issue which they did. Thanks for helping me Austen.... I ordered Microsoft Office Professional 2010 and it is working great. The only thing that would have made everything five stars is the fact that the software ships 64bit automatic and I am running 32bit. Having that option when the software is purchased would have made this a five star rating for me at least. Thanks for everything and all the help Bargainsoftwareshop.com......"

"These people are very nice to work with. One of their service people, Ashley, received an Email from me asking for assistance and responded within 30 minutes. She took care of my request and had me working within another 30 minutes. I can't think of a supplier that could be any more responsive and frankly, any nicer."

"I am a longtime Mac and Adobe Creative Suite User. I recently bought a new iMac and needed to get an updated version of Adobe CS since I was still running CS2 on my old Mac G5. Although buying through Adobe would provide all the peace of mind in the world, there was no way I could afford $1,899.00 + 8.5% New York State sales tax for a grand total of $2,060.42 for Adobe Design and Web Premium package. That is ridiculous. So I began scouring the internet hoping to find a legitimate website selling genuine software since I had read that there are a lot of illegal copies out there. I kept finding the Adobe CS6 Suite for a little cheaper, then a little cheaper, and finally I came across BargainSoftwareShop using Google where they had the retail box version of Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium listed for $699 with free shipping and no tax. Being the skeptic that I am, I wanted to call and speak to a human before placing an order to try to confirm the legitimacy of this website/company and I reached Ashley. I see her name on other reviews here. It seems as though BSS is a small business with not many employees but my family runs a similar small business so that is fine with me. Ashley answered some of my questions on the phone. Then, the next day, I emailed her with a few more and she sent a very lengthy and detailed reply easing any concerns and answering any questions I had. One of my questions for Ashley was regarding another review I had read in which a poster said that BargainSoftwareShop was selling the "Academic" version of CS6 Design and Web Premium. Ashley confirmed this to be true but assured me that I would never be prompted to provide any proof of affiliation with an educational organization. With all concerns gone, I ordered online and a few days later received and installed this Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium software on my new iMac with no issues. We have a small family business and my boss (my dad) was thrilled that I saved him $1,361.42 by finding this genuine Adobe software through BargainSoftwareShop for $699 total instead of having to buy direct from the Adobe ripoff artists for over $2,000. Adobe has great software but they are vultures when it comes to getting your money. I am still disgusted they would not let CS2 users get upgrade pricing. Some loyalty! So anyway, the moral of the story is that you should buy from BargainSoftwareShop! I know this review will sound like a long commercial but I am a real person living south of Buffalo, NY, with no ties to this company but was extremely impressed with their customer service dept. (Ashley) and their very competitive pricing. Previous reviews here on ResellerRatings.com helped me in my decision making process so I wanted to help others like myself and this company deserves a great review."

"Terrible Experience
I used bargainsoftwareshop for the 1st time last week, based on a friends recommendation and based on my experience, I will not be using them again.
My system crashed while I was travelling overseas and I urgently needed to purchase MS Office Professional. 3-4 days after placing the order I still had not received the download link, so I emailed them to find out the status. After several hours I received an email response advising that they suspected my order was fraudulent because the order was placed overseas (yes people do travel outside of the USA!). Even after confirming all of my information I received a notification another few hours later stating they cancelled the order.

Ordinarily this would not be an issue, but I am traveling overseas and in urgent need of the Software. There was nothing on their website, to state the software would not be available immediately and no notification/communication received from them to advise of any delays or issues.

Very frustrating and annoying, so overall I am not very impressed and wont be using them again


To add to the frustrations, I received more information in your response on this public forum, than I did from you on email, when I asked what the issue was"

"My experience with this shop was excellent. They are reliable, customer oriented and ready to provide assistance in case of need. Ashley was excellent in everything. I would advice everybody needs to buy softwares to use such a web shop."

"The price for Adobe Acrobat Pro seemed too good to be true so I called to speak with a human. Was reassured, placed my order online, got my confirmation with key code within minutes, entered the key code in my expired trial software already on my computer and -- a green check that it works. I'm in business. I couldn't justify $449 from Adobe direct, but $129 fits level of use and budget."

"This company has been great. Product was just as described and was made available quickly. My PC crashed a few months later so had to reload all my software. They sent a new link for the download the next day (original link download had expired by the time this happened). "

"I had recently placed an order from Canada on Jan 29th, 2013. Unfortunately, I was having problems downloading the program I paid for. Ashley was a tremendous help providing additional download links I could try but nothing worked. I let them know that if this problem cannot be resolved I would have no other option but to cancel my order.

Today, Thursday, I received a phone call from Kelly who gave another option to try and it worked! Thank You Ashley & Kelly! What a great Customer Service Team! I have been recommending all over the place and will go to your FB site & Like!

"This is an excellent resource for Adobe products at steep discount *IF* you are okay with getting an education edition and have no other way to get the education discount. I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium and had a good experience with the order and delivery process.

Ashley was cordial when I called to inquire why I had received an education edition, which was not what I thought I was ordering. She explained that it was fully functional like the regular edition. That would have been fine if I never needed to upgrade the software. I called Adobe and was told that because the education edition is already steeply discounted, it is not eligible for discounted upgrade pricing. If I ever want to get version CS 6.5 or CS 7, for example, I would have to purchase another full-price education edition, or the full-price regular edition. Ashley apparently didn't know this fact, for she said it would upgrade just like the regular edition, which is simply not the case.

Anyway, that might not really be a big deal for most folks, except for one thing ... I have a 10 year old step-daughter! I've realized she would qualify for the "student and teacher" edition (the same as the education edition) which I can purchase through Adobe for $449, which is $150 less than (unknowingly) buying the education edition through BargainSoftwareShop.com for $599. Therefore I am returning the product and will order the software through Adobe.com."
