"I just picked up my new Eurocopter the BlitzRcWorks Air Zermatt EC-135 Giant coaxeil 4 channel helicopter today at the post office. It arrived from California to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 6 days with a long weekend included in its shipping time. I had no trouble tracking the product through the USPS website via the tracking number provided me by Banana Hobby. It arrived in good order with no visible damage to the outer shipping box.
I unboxed it about an hour later at home, I found the inside box to be in good order, after unpacking everything and getting the manuals and attention slips out and reading them all VERY thoroughly I was able to then determine all the parts, battery, transmitter and the helicopter itself were provided as advertised with nothing missing and all were in excellent condition and totally band new.
I then charged the main LiPo battery for the first time on the 1 Amp setting and it was fully charged in a little over an hour. The charger, wall adaptor and battery all worked perfectly and showed no signs of overheating

I took the time that the battery was charging to thoroughly inspect the helicopter, I found no obvious defects, using a small Phillips head screw driver I made sure all the screws on the rotor head and blade mountings were tight, I had to tighten a few of them but generally most had the correct tourque on them.
Using the supplied Allan Key I adjusted the tension on the blade mounts that they would still move with centrifical force to a strait outward alignment but would also allow the blade to fold in if it struck any foreign object. I also checked the blade seperation between upper and lower to be sure they were parallel to each other and only would give an inch with light downward or upward pressure put on the blade, the seperation and the tension is excellent and would not easily suffer from any blade slap.
I then installed the transmitter battery's (8 AA's) powered it up, the green light came on and I shut it off right away as it was working just fine.

After the battery was fully charged I installed the main power battery in the helicopter and snap locked down the provided battery holding case into the bottom of the helicopter.
Turning on the transmitter I checked that the green light was on, then plugged in the main power LiPo battery into the power plug provided on the helicopter. I then let it sit for 45 to 60 seconds for the gyro system to become aligned.
The flashing anti collision light on the tail was working great (Nice touch, BTW) and the red light seen to shine through the leftside fuselage body went out indicating the model was now aligned, calibrated and ready to fly.
I decided to do a power run-up to about 1/3 throttle, the speed control provided very good response and was very easy to run at very slow speeds up to my determined test speed with no cutouts and with very smooth throttle response.
Powering down after 30 seconds I then let the motors cool with the main battery disconnected and transmitter turned off. I inspected the helicopter again and everything was tight and no overheating could be detected.
After 10 minutes I turned on the transmitter again, and plugged in the main battery to the helicopter again. Now I powered it up enough to make it just light on the skids and tested all the control inputs they were quick, positive, and easy to control with the sticks on the transmitter, just allowing it to taxi or slide on the ground barely touching but not lifting right off the ground I adjusted my trims, the trim adjustments were positive, responsive and easily adjusted. Once all trimmed out I added more power just enough to lift about 3 inches off the ground and did rotations using only rudder control then I set her gently back on the ground it hovered very well and was crisp and forgiving to my control inputs.

Note: I did not have to make adjustments to the ESC, Reciver, nor did I need to Bind the Transmitter and Reciver frequencys, everything was setup and worked strait out of the box. From the time I unboxed it charged the main battery, read all the litature inspected the helicopter and familiarized myself with the transmitter to the time it made its first lift off was only 2 hours, I'd have to say that it is a RTF Aircraft out of the box. The instruction manuals are all quite adequate, easy to understand and properly illistrated.

In summation I give Banana Hobby credit where credit is due, I'm very happy with my purchase and every step of the process was to my ultimate satisfaction.

Thank You Banana Hobby, I am very pleased indeed and will not hesitate to order from you in the future again...

Sincerly; Jens

"This place is HORRIBLE. Sure the videos are great but I will tell you that there customer service is certainly lacking.

I bought a small mig from them- my first real plane purchase. When checking out they offer all these added option you can buy (extra battery, wall charger, etc..) EXCEPT- they do not offer a remote and chances are the extra parts will not be for your plane.

I surely don't need a batter that is double the size of my battery compartment!

I've emailed them several times and they simply email back a link saying (this is what you need). They do not give any attention to the fact that they originally sent me the wrong plane.

IN FACT, I hooked up the battery and it started to smoke- still no reply from their email department.

Watch the videos, GO ELSEWHERE is my advise"

"This is the biggest piece of Garbage you will ever spend your money on!!! And you will feel disappointed!! I ordered an RC helicopter from them about a year ago. First time I tried to fly it, it flied 1 meter above the ground and crushed immediately! WHY? Because the motor completed ruined the gear system! all the gear teeth were broken. Alright... I spoke to them, and requested new parts. THREE months after I received the parts and repaired the helicopter. Because of this incident I was afraid to fly the helicopter again. Today I decided to try to fly it again. Guess what.... Same thing happened again!! I was sooooo disappointed!!!! Unbelivable! Their products are SCAM!!! Crapy design! cheap parts! and Crapy service!! If I could, I would rate their company 0/5."

"Purchased super P-51 Red Tail Mustang. Sent in a question about the plane and received an answer in two days. Ordered the product and it shipped within two days, received in North Carolina five days later. Used the 'Springflying' code and saved $50 in shipping. Opened box on May 7th, everything was in perfect condition. Beautiful airplane, great detail. Very happy with BH. Was worried after reading many reviews. Gave them a shot. Happy with the results."

"I bought 2 RC Helicopter 9104. One came with bad rotor blade motor etc. Only spin rotor blades for about 1/2 to 1 seconds then off. Reset switch on-off but only spin 1/2-1 seconds.
Keep emails them for a whole week. No response from them Banana Hobby. Please don't buy from them if you need supports.
Spend the extra $ to a Reputation seller.

"Just a quick note. I ordered a P51 RTF (38 inch wingspan) on April 20th (Friday) and received it on April 26th Thursday in excellent condition. Opened the box and peeped in, no time to assemble and test fly yet, but everything looked normal.

So far, my experience with BH has been pleasant and satisfactory. I didn't see the Free Shipping offer upon ordering, but a quick call to their CS netted me a ho-hassle refund of the $18.00 shipping.

I hope the plane goes together uneventfully and the electrics/electronics work properly just like my HobbyZone HBZ7400 Super Cub did. If it does, I'll be totally ecstatic as I avoided the BH syndrome:-) and I will continue to buy from them. Pete seems such a nice guy in the videos. He's the reason I bought the P51. Always wanted this warbird since I was a kid and seeing the model perform under Pete's control was a treat."

"I ordered 2 airplanes and 2 propellers from Banana Hobby March 5 and paid by paypal, taking advantage of a "Free Shipping " Offer. There props were out of stock so they held the whole order up for 4 weeks. By the time the props ($4 item) were back in stock one of the airplanes was out of stock. They then shipped me 2 Helicopters I didn't order. They refused to ship the planes until the helicopters were returned and processed, another 2 weeks. By this time one airplane was still out of stock. Finally after 8 weeks I agreed to change the airplane out of stock to another one and paid them another $10 for the difference. They then said they really only had one airplane, I said ship that one and cancel and refund the other. Since this brought the order under $100 they tacked on a $30 shipping charge ! THese guys are a chinese fire drill. Kept my money 8 weeks and jacked me around to avoid the free shipping they offered. AVOID THEm LIKE THE PLAGUE !"
