I was seduced by their low prices on a trolling motor, fish finder & accessories until I accidentally order 2 of an item and had to return one. U.P.S. tracking shows they received it 6 weeks ago and am still waiting for a refund. My emails have not been answered and no one ever returns your voice mails. I saved at least $30 on an item that was available on 25 other sites but for much more.<br><br>But - I had to wait 6 weeks after order for delivery. The first 4 weeks the item still said it was in stock when it was not. I called often about the item and was constantly told the item should ship within the week. While they were always polite it was very annoying to feel like I was lied to.<br><br>Once the item really did arrive in their store, they were great. They called to tell me the item was in, and again to tell me that it shipped.<br><br>Luckily I ordered with 2 months to spare. And the fact I am publishing it here, you can tell I had no resolution! <br><br>\u0022Very bad experience. Communication was haphazard and poor. Credit card payment apparently wouldn\u0027t work so I had to arrange an international bank transfer. The product was put in an ridiculously oversized box which cost extra to ship internationally. One reel was underspooled with line. One reel was dispatched with the drag cranked up tight causing the washers to compress and deform as it was in transit for a long period. I have since had to replace the washers. And then to top it all off, my credit card was charged months after the purchase with an un-authorized withdrawal. It has only been refunded in part and my last emails chasing it have again, been ignored.<br>Bait n Hook has quite possibly been my worst ever on-line shopping experience. I have gone out of my way to tell other fishermen not to use them. And if my unauthorized charge is not refunded immediately I will be posting my experience on every fishing forum and shopping review site I can. "I ordered an item waited for 6 weeks and it still was not shipped. I received no notification on the item and wouldn't have known what was going on unless I was proactive and used the live chat available on their website. I sent an email 6 days after not having received a shipping notification that never received a response. Bait N Hook does have some decent prices, but you'll pay for them in the end with bad customer service and seemingly endless delays on product shipment. I would not attempt to order from Bait N Hook again. It's just not worth the stress."
