"Do not purchase anything from this company! I purchased a watertable for my grandson's birthday 2 weeks early. It was scheduled to arrive between 4/22-4/25 - his party was 4/28. They did not advise it was going to be arriving late - I had to go to Toys R US to purchase one - they refused to cancel shipment - they expect me to pay a $10 refusal fee in addition to $19.40 for miscellaneous fees. THEY DID NOT GET THE MERCHANDISE TO ME ON TIME YET THEY EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I purchase many items online and have never had this experience before. Unbelievable!"

"Do NOT put this place on your registry! there is no way to return or even exchange a gift. Basically, the gift giver purchased the wrong item (pink and i am having a boy!) and I tried to resolve with the merchant. They said there is nothing they can do. They will not allow a return or an exchange. They say they can give a refund to the gift giver if i pay to ship it back. they do not stand behind thier products at all. Buyer beware!!"

I experienced great service and shipping on a personalized Kidkraft lounger, other Kidkraft products, a Fisher Price product and several Melissa & Doug products. "Recently purchased about $160 worth of merchandise from them and didn't receive a confirm for order. After 5 days I called them and they told me pieces were on back order. I immediately canceled the order and was given a refund with 2 days. Refund process was quick but they could have been more proactive with status info. "
"just received my order but is a total disrespect for the presentation of the package. seems that the box had mold or a horrible black dust , full of broken, I can not give a gift with this presentation and the excuse that was a fedex damage is unlikely , the box was clearly open before and sealed with adhesive tape and was then sent from your werehouse, it is clear that babyage shipping label is above the adhesive tape. The funniest thing is that the person who answered the phone told me that I have to pay the return ... okay but I will make sureto report to american express (I bought with my Americam express rewards points)and put a youtube video showing the kind of shipping you do. "I purchased a toy chest from BabyAge. The web site listed the dimensions and said it doubled as a bench for additional seating. The dimensions listed were quite sizable. When I received and assembled the chest I was shocked to see that I could fit very few toys in it, especially anything oddly shaped or slightly larger. The chest was very shallow and narrow. The dimensions listed included the "bench" back and sides. This was very misleading. In addition, only a very small child could use the chest as a bench for seating. I tried to return the product and was told I was simply having "buyer's remorse" and would have to pay for shipping. Return shipping would of course cost about as much as the product itself and was not worth it to return. I even offered to have BabyAge deduct what it cost them to ship it back out of my refund and they refused. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Heather told me my call would be returned in 24-48 hours. Six days later I had to call them back as I had not received a call. While speaking with Melissa the supervisor, she hung up on me. "
"Terrible customer service. Called babyage four times to speak to a supervisor and still no call back, even though I was told I would be getting a call back three different times On the third call I was told that my name was first on the list for a call back from the supervisor, but no call so when I called back, the following day, I was told that the supervisor left for the day. I have also emailed them three times, still nothing. It seems like if you get your item on time, everything is great, but try contacting them if you have a problem, then you'll know what I'm talking about, and don't say you weren't warned."
"ordered tadpoles black and white damask crib bedding on dec 13th. babyage was about $20 cheaper then other sites with free shipping. read reviews later about babyage on this site and was worried because of the bad reviews. today is dec 18th and i received my order this am. the bedding was in perfect condition. no complaints about babyage and would order from them again."
"I placed my order for a Teamson Kids rocking chair on 7/22/10, and the website stated that it would ship in 2-3 business days. Two weeks later, we still didn't have it, and had received no notification of it being sent, or being on hold...nothing. I sent an email asking about it, and was told that they expected it to ship in the next day or two. Three days later, still nothing. After sending another message, I was informed that the rocking chair was on backorder until 8/30. I assumed they meant 8/30/10, but now I think they meant 8/30/11! A few days into September, I sent another message asking them to either confirm that my order would be shipped in the next few days, or else I wanted it cancelled. I received no response. I sent yet another message asking for the order to be cancelled. Still no response. I finally called on 9/22. The person I spoke to said that she put a cancellation order through, and that I should receive an email confirmation by the end of the next day. That email never came. I called AGAIN, was on hold for 20 minutes, and spoke with someone else who did finally get it cancelled and my PayPal account credited. I will NEVER order anything from BabyAge ever again!"
"I ordered a Safety 1st car seat. The box came all beat up. The car seat was not even wraped in plastic and was missing the infant head rest. There was also something wrong with the head rest because it was not allowing my baby to keep his head up. Instead it looked like he was looking down with his chin touching his chest. Very uncomfortable. I called to return the item and I would have shopped their site for a different one, had I not received such terrible service. They basically said I could return it for a refund but I had to pay for shipping (which is likely to cost as much as I paid for it) so no refund. The girl said she would have a manager call me in the morning but of course no one called. This company has only nine employees and is only inline so it is likely out of a persons home. SCAM"

"Bought a Highchair for my daughter and never got a tracking number and when I called 3 weeks after my purchase they had no record what so ever on why my product hadn't been shipped. I had to call the manufacturer directly (which only took me 2 minutes) to find out what they couldn't solve in 4 days Won't use this store anymore!!"
"Don't be deceived by their claim of free shipping. I entered a free shipping code on a product that I ordered and was given the free shipping until I hit the final submit button and was charged shipping. When I called in to correct or cancel the order I was told that it would be credited to my account. I was only credited for half of the shipping. When I called in for the second time the customer service representative was unwilling to listen explaining that they had done me a favor by giving me half because the item I purchased was not available for free shipping. At that point Malinda hung up on me saying they did me a favor in the first place. So buyer beware this is the most deceiving site with equally dishonest customer service representatives."
"We were very dissapointed to find a bunch of our parts damaged. Im hoping that Graco has no issues replacing them for us. Luckily we ordered this months ahead of time and have time to order new parts or else i would have been PISSED. We shouldnt have to worry this."
