Brian Meyer is a crook full of misinformation and lies do not do business with him. I can bore with a long story but it is the same as you can already read in the cases above. Best plan is to cancel your order, demand a refund, post your experinece here, refer the case to Illinois Consumer Fraud Bureau, and dispute the charge with your credit card company with the details.

Issue 1: ordered full set for my wife's B-day 8weeks ago. told me it would take 2 weeks. 4 weeks later, said they shipped "yesterday". same story the last 4 weeks. finally complained that he messed up my birthday gift and offered refund and $50 discount when clubs come in. Clubs never in. refund transaction codes sent in e-mail. refund never processed. credit card had no record. Brian asked that I have the credit card comany "call him" if the credit not processed after 2 weeks. what a BS'er. $650. no clubs. no refund. what crap. bad name for all the other legitimate internet brokers.
Issue #2: talked to Brian on the phone expressing interest in a set for myself. this is all before I let myself realize what a bullcrapper he is. never remotely said that I want to buy them. sent them anyway and charged my card. what a tool. I have notified my CC company and have painfully requested a new card number....knowing I will have to change all my many autopays. lesson learned...for us all!!!

This guy is a complete and total tool. I ordered a set of Wilson irons which he shipped and they were the wrong flex. I send them back and he proceeds to send the right flex and charges my CC again. When the irons come there is a putter I didn't order which I have to send back along with the wrong irons. I have been waiting for a month for the refund on my CC and have become frustrated to the point of wanting to kill this guy. He is a liar and a total scumbag. I have filed a complaint with the AG in Illinois and BBB. How this ass clown is still in business given the reams of complaints against him is beyond me.

I called Brian from BHM Golf and ordered an Ogio golf bag. I got the best price from him that I could find on the internet. After getting such a great price, I thought to myself that it is probably too good to be true. I typed BHM reviews and came upon this site. I immediately called Brian back to cancel and he assured me that I would receive my bag and that they had a new system in place. Brian would give me updates everyday and would even follow up with a phone call or email. Sure enough, I received my bag in about 4 business days. It was truly a great experience and I will use him again for all golf needs and definitely recommend him to others.

Well, all I know is, I ordered a set of Nickent ARC irons with stiff shafts, along with an ARC 56-degree wedge, from Brian, and they just got delivered -- in four days via UPS, with free shipping. Honestly, I received exactly what I ordered. I must acknowledge the myriad bad reviews about BMH Golf here, but I had no problems whatsoever, and got the best price on the ARCs in all the land. Plus, Brian gave me $10 off the 56-degree wedge. Caveat emptor is always good advice, but BMH Golf and Brian took care of me, for sure. Now if the snow will ever melt here in Maine, I'll actually get to use my new dolls in the spring. Golf on. . . .

Add my name to the list of people whom this guy tried to screw. To get your money back, first call your credit card company and dispute the claim. Second, tell the Illinois Attorney General's Office and the Villa Park police department (Det. Lay). Third, tell Brian Meyer that you are notifying the Attorney General's Office and the Villa Park Police. Now watch him squirm and grovel like the worm he is. Also notify PayPal of his deceitful behavior and reference this website to all of the above.
I was able to get my money back in 30 days using the above means, after waiting six months for that jackass to do the right thing.
He is a liar and no matter what he says DO NOT BELIEVE him.

I originally purchased a Mizuno 1/4 zip windlight sweater in December. The email confirmation he sent said that I used a Discover card, so I emailed back and said it was a VISA. to my surprise, I got a telephone call from Brian Meyer that very evening, confirming that it was indeed a Visa. I received the package after Christmas, and realized he had sent a small instead of the large that I ordered. I immediately called him, and he answered his phone, stating he was at lunch, and if I could order the correct sweater online, he would only hold it with my card until he received the incorrect sweater back. We sent the sweater back on 1/9/09, and he received it 1/15/09 (UPS tracking number 1Z58R2380341355123) He personally signed for it.
I noticed on my credit card transactions online that he actually had charged me for the replacement. I called him and emailed him. We waited and waited for the size large. He said he had sent it and it would be delivered January 20th. It wasn't. I called and asked for the tracking number. He asked if he could give it to me on Monday, Jan 26th? I said I want it now. He emailed me the following:"1Z110A8R0346094941 IS THE UPS TRACKING NUMBER". This proves it wasn't even sent until the 25th.
One night he called me at 10:30pm, did not identify himself ( phone number that showed up was the company phone number on his website) and said " The credit was put through today, it will clear in 3-5 business days." and hung up. I have phone records of this.
I still have not received the credit back for $89. I have talked to him on the phone at least 5 times and have numerous emails to document this. I just called my credit card company to dispute the charge. I also rated him a 1 on his website, but obviously this will never show up.

The biggest bunch of knuckle heads on the planet! They're not only the most rude people I have ever dealt with but the most untrustworthy.
I ordered a golf bag online on 12/2/08. After waiting one week for shipment, I called; only to be told that it would be shipped that Friday. Another week went by..still no bag. Called again, another person w/o any home training answered and told me it was ship that Friday (it had mysteriously been back ordered). Waited another week. Another person tried to "find" the order. I was told it had been shipped that day. I then was delivered a Tracking No. from UPS...w/ little info, plus it was being shipped to billing address - not the shipping address. I then tried for over a week (Christmas holidays) to track this Christmas gift. It was a NO-SHOW. Called on 1/6/09. Not only was this guy pathetic, he sent me an email telling me he had returned my money - but was for another person that he insisted was ME! Finally after much of flake talk, he found where the order had actually been canceled weeks earlier!!!!
In a time where not many people are eager to spend money, one would think a company that uses Ben Hogan as a moniker would be responsible & more eager to take my money!!

Worst online shopping experience ever. I was hung up on every time I called, the customer service guy Joe would hold down buttons on the phone to beep at me for literally minutes, they lied about their mistakes and about UPS, I would rather cut off my leg than deal with them again.

On 9.24.08, I purchased a golf bag. On 9.25, my golf bag was delivered, but not the one I ordered. After several calls, being hung up on by Brian, & a lot of hassles, I finally got the bag returned. However, on 10.08.08, Brian told me my money would be credited within the next 48 hours. 15 days later, I'm still waiting for my money. I called again, & he told me he just now received my email. I read his reply, dated 10.08 & asked if this was the message, from 15 days ago that he just received, but already responded to? He said yes. He said he was crediting my account right now & hung up on me. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!!!!

I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE
I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE
I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE
In July 30th I bought a few things for a total amount of 640 USD that I paid thru PayPal, After a month, 15 emails and a 10 phone calls (from Spain) he sent to me half of my order, all the time he said to me that in august was very complicated for him to get what I ordered I thought that made sense what he said to me, so I waited for september. He promises me to send me the rest within 1 week and by today I have not received anything else from him. I have exceeded the PayPal time to complain (45 days) and He still owes me 290 USD and I have been phoning him thousand times and emamiling him but I got NOTHING, no answer no news and no money.
¿What can I do? and ¿how?
Can anyone help me? I am in Spain and it is very difficult for me to press Brian from here, because he won´t believe me if I said to him that I am going to prosecute him.
¿is anybody there that can help me with this matter?
thank you very much guys and sorry about my english.
Zarko.

This web site is a total rip off...DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people. To everyone that is having difficulty getting a refund...BE PERSISTENT!! Please contact Lieutenant Michael Lay, Villa Park Police Department to let him know the situation. He helped me get my refund. Brian will play games but don't let him. Keep after him!! It took me 1 1/2 months to get my refund! BUYER BEWARE!! This review was modified by its author, Wifey, on

Glad I found this website. An earlier posting turned me on to the Illinois DA's Office (http://www.ag.state.il.us/pressroom/2007_12/20071228b.html). This was the only way to get Brian's attention. Still owes me a partial reimbursement. Hopefully, when we all file a claim with the DA's office, we'll get paid when they shut him down.

I also wish that I had known more about this guy before odering from him as I have just been through a similar ordeal as many of those described.
I ordered a 15 piece top-flite set over the phone from this guy for $199. A few days later when I was checking my credit card statement on line I see he has charged me $339. I immediately called him to find out what had happened and he said he thought I wanted the 18 piece set at $339. He told me he would correct everything and refund the difference.
Several days went by and the $339 charge was still there so I emailed to find out what was going on. I got a very confusing email back saying the 18 piece set was shipped and I should get it in a few days. I called him and told him I didn't want the 18 piece set and he said "yeah I know, I ordered you the 15 piece set and you should get it in a few days". I asked him if he had processed the refund for the difference and he said yes.
A few more days passed and I get the 15 piece set by UPS, but he still hadn't refunded the difference for charging me for the 18 piece set so I called to find out why. He told me he had and that it takes a few days to post. In the mean time I happened to google this guy and found this site with all of the complaints, so I immediately called my credit card company and explained what had happened. They started the dispute process for the overcharge and I continued to wait.
I continued to call Brian and was told the same thing each time, that he processed it already and I should see it anytime. Then a few phone calls later he tries to tell me that he processed it for another guy with the same name in Canada and that it was his mistake and he would take care of it that day (he must think we are all idiots!).
So a few days later I see the refund for the difference and of course think that he has finally come through, so I call the dispute claims department of my credit card company to tell them I got the refund. They inform me that THEY processed it to my account because I had provided adequate evidence that I was overcharged and that they were now handling it with him.
Great! I thought, this is all done. Well 5 days later I get an angry phone call from Brian saying that the credit card company took all $339 and that I needed to pay him $199! I told him no, they had only given me the difference for being overcharged. He insisted that I was wrong and that I needed to pay him $199 or send the clubs back, or that he would have to sue me! Ha ha ha, what a joke this guy is!! He even asked me "do you want the cops to have to come and knock on your door?" What an idiot!! I told him to do whatever he thought he needed to do because as for me, I got the difference refunded back by my credit card company and he would have to deal with them.
Well, after hanging up with Brian I call the credit card company and tell them everything that has just happened. They actually laughed and said not to pay attention to this loser. But just for fun I asked them if they could conference call him so they can tell him that he is wrong. . . he practically cries on the phone with them and tells them they are ripping him off and hangs up!
I just can't believe this guy is still in business after all of these complaints and the Illinois attorney general suit as well. This review was modified by its author, matt8399, on

The company is totally bogus. Brian Meyer of BHMGolf has over 200 complaints filed against him with the Illinois Consumer Fraud Bureau. I got ripped off for a Cleveland Golf Bag - $149. Never delivered the bag and refused to refund the money despite repeated calls and e-mails initiated by Meyer that the money had been transferred to my account. Have filed a complaint with the Consumer Fraud Bureau and with my credit card company for a refund.
