Drove to several local stores, and could not find what I needed. AutoToys had it. Reasonable price, and the item arrived quickly. I've already installed it in my vehicle, and it works fine. Thanks.

After seeing this part on Amazon for over $80, decided to keep looking and I found the part I needed for $10 plus shipping on autotoys.com. I am completely satisfied with the part wil return for my auto and truck needs.

Actually, this customer is lying.
All of his emails were answered quickly and as a matter of fact, we answered all of his installation errors (and answered all his technical questions) on a remote start install in DETAIL in our customer forums. We had an answer in detail for all his technical questions when his remote start did not work and answered his questions IN DETAIL in our forums (which is where we suggest you post questions on installs so others will benefit, not via email)

Very quick order confirmation messages. Order delivered in less than 1 week. Found the part I needed easily. Nice to have pictures of parts. I was sure I was going to get the right part because of the picture. I will come here first for my car parts.

Terrible experience.
Ordered an OEM-equivalent, Pioneer-based CD changer for my BMW. Paid $198. Received a Kenwood changer that costs $124. Mounting brackets did not fit the BMW...had to use velcro an ghetto-rig a mounting contraption to avoid having to return it (at my expense, of course). Run, dont walk, from this company.

There are a few key important facts left out, this review is misleading
The customer also made no contact to us post sale even with more than clear info on how to contact us. We would have cleared up the facts below which was also shown in the product description when purchased.
1. The factory changer is not made by pioneer. It is made by alpine. No aftermaket changer will bolt into the factory brackets. NONE
2. Our product description clearly states that it is an aftermarket changer. Not a factory changer
3. Our description clearly states that it comes with its own brackets and it will not fit into the factory brackets.
4. The package includes a new changer and also another piece. A digital converter that connects the changer to the car. The value of this adapter is 100 dollars. This puts the retail value way over 198 dollars which is the price displayed. It is not only a changer. If it was only a changer that will work. Bmw will be out of business. As a matter of fact. Even if you used an aftermarket alpine change you will STILL need a 100 dollar digital converter.
Do not misunderstand the statements it was sold as an aftermarket solution which does not bolt into factory brackets and it contained more than just a changer
We have sold over a thousand such changer packages since 1996 and all of our customers understand these facts and anyone who buys an aftermarket changer whether from us or another vendor also understands it is more than a changer and will not bolt into factory brackets.

Ordered relay and harness kit. Best price on the internet. Got exactly what I expected - looks like an OEM-grade GM-style relay and a quality harness. Harness is not weathertight, as expected.

I have been a customer for 10 years, and have purchased many items. I keep coming back for a few reasons I would like to share:
1. Best price anywhere.
2. Best service anywhere.
3. Best tech support anywhere.
4. Fastest delivery anywhere.
5. Nicest reps anywhere.
Why go anywhere else, when the best is right here?

This was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had with a company of any kind.
My product was backordered...no one ever told me. I had to ask after a week of my order sitting around.
I asked for a replacement...no one ever let me know a new product recommendation.
Finally the order shipped, the price was never adjusted to match the new product, so I was overcharged.
When I finally got the product, there was no invoice or paperwork that I needed to do my install.
This was the worst customer service I have ever received from any company. It was so bad in fact that I was forced to submit a complaint into the Better Business Bureau.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND that anyone shop from this company. And if this trend continues with other customers I don't see this company staying around.

I do a good deal on internet buying with very good results. The companies that I have dealt with have always kept their customers informed with confirmed order status & shipment info with dates & tracking records. I ordered an item from Autotoys a week ago & I'm not sure when or where it shipped from. I e-mailed them & asked for shipping date, tracking record & where it was shipped from. Their reply only said it was shipped.
I think anyone should be wary when ordering from a company that doesn't include their address or a customer service phone number. I also think a customer should be wary of a companies "terms & conditions" that relieve them of almost any responsibility short on nuclear war. Really, read their disclaimers, they just go on and on. Buyer beware.
This company needs to do a much better job of keeping its customers informed. In today's age of electronic confirmation there just isn't any excuse for such a poor job. If they want a 5 star rating things need to improve.
Although I stand by my previous statement, the unit was delivered today (1 week) so I must add that delivery was after all prompt, very well priced & as ordered. If have changed my ratings to reflect todays delivery. This review was modified by its author, 127800, on

$13 for shipping and handling on a part that weighs 3-4 oz and it takes them a week to ship. I do not recommend this reseller. The pricing isn't that competitive and the shipping/handling charges are excessive in addition to the long "processing" time.
I WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

I've been shopping online for a long time now, probably 90% of my shopping is done online. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I placed my order on Thursday, July 16th and as of today, I haven't recieved my order nor have I even gotten a tracking number. I've emailed them probably about 10 times now and they give me the same response, your order has been shipped. Well, if its been shipped then give me a damn tracking number. Oh, and as soon as you place the order, there goes your money out of your bank account. This is one of the worst online companies I've ever dealt with in my shopping experience. And now I have to go out of town and people in my neighborhood steal packages out of your front door, so that's just great in case the UPS guy delivers the package and leaves it at front dor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE AND PAY MORE TO AVOID THE HEADACHE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT... This review was modified by its author, tahjmaaliq, on

This order was actually shipped promptly. As specified in our terms and conditions, not all orders have tracking #s because some are shipped out of distribution warehouses. The customer was made aware the product was already in transit to him repetitively via email. |
