"So unbelievably infuriating that I swear I almost had an aneurysm.

The pair of brake calipers I ordered arrived but instead of 2 brake calipers I got 1 wrong caliper and 1 O2 sensor.

When calling their 1-866 "customer service" number you are made to hold for a minimum of 7-10 minutes before being disconnected so it took me about an hour and a half to reach someone to try and address the order discrepancy.

The "customer service" agent I was finally connected to was not only of no help in trying to find a suitable solution but her tone was such that I could tell she was rolling her eyes and making jerk-off gestures the whole time and when I requested to speak with a supervisor I was told there was none available and that they could not call me back regardless.

I finally settled on a complete refund of my invoice for the mis-shipped parts which was to be issued upon their receipt and at autopartsway's expense, and I reordered the correct parts but now having to pay overnight shipping costs. I had the foresight to insist that I receive an email stating the terms we had just discussed namely the exact amount of the refund and that I would wait while she sent it to ensure it was accurate. Needless to say it took 3 separate emails before she actually typed the correct details and included the amount.

Fast-forward 2 weeks and I still hadn't been credited for the returned parts despite having been delivered within 4 days. Same routine of on-hold, disconnect, on-hold, disconnect until I get a warm body. I give him my details and he assures me that the refund will be processed within 24-72hrs. Sure enough 2days pass and a refund is issued - only it is less a 20% restocking fee.

I'm about to explode with rage here and I'm typing this just after the conversation below.

This time it takes me some 7 or 8 attempts and 2 whole hours before I am connected. I explain to the guy that finally picks up what the situation is and he tells me - as if he hasn't heard a word I've just said - that a 20% restocking fee is standard.
I tell him AGAIN that the parts were mis-shipped, that I'd already ordered replacements and paid over-night fees and that I had several emails detailing the terms of my refund and that I was fucking sick of this bullshit.

At this point I think he was beginning to sense my frustration and he assures me that the remaining balance would be refunded within the 24-72hr period...

but get this...

only if I give them a good review on their website.


I won't go into any further details but suffice to say I declined his offer of participating in their customer feed-back program.

Now I have to wait and see weather my refund is processed or if I have to drive from BC to Mississauga and pay these fine folks a visit in person.


DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Trust me, it's bad for your blood pressure.

"this order happened last year. I was here giving another company a 5 star review. I thought I would plug them in and see what came up! lol what a joke! 5 stars? wow...
let me share what happened to me...

I placed an order. They canceled half of it and did not allow me to cancel the entire order. So I had to order the rest of the items from another company.

Then I tried to view the items that I had previously ordered from them and they were no longer even visible on the website!! I received no emails with any type of invoice at anytime. I had to screen grab them myself.

You overcharged me for shipping. I paid for rapid shipping and you sent it by ground. I only found out because I called the courier co. You also charged me taxes for something that was cancelled. (I have a screen grab of your live chat admitting that.)

after all that you sent the wrong item. I cross referenced the part numbers with the husky liners site and the parts numbers that you showed on my invoice were not for my Toyota. Mistake on your end. I wrote you and told you and then I told you again within your live chat.

I then had to order that cancelled part from another company and double my shipping costs.

I tried to call you only to have your phone system hang up on me after putting me on hold at least 5X. so during a chat session I asked to have a manager call me but as Camilla put it "Managers are not available for chats" and refused to call me.

I then paid about $30 to mail the "wrong part" back to you. Weeks later you sent me a paid return package without telling me you were going to! the item was already in your hands at this time!! another example of no communication.

I even paid to send you back your paid postage label with a letter explaining the situation with a copy of my receipt hoping you would refund me.. NO RESPONSE from you. NO REFUND for my shipping cost.

Then I got visa involved. You told visa you never got the package. When you actually signed for it! Then I got Canada post involved. All of the sudden months later(5 months after the original purchase) you miraculously found the returned item that I had sent back over 4 months prior. yah right!

I got a partial refund but none of my shipping costs were refunded as I was told.

In August you send me an email saying " Any way we really apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused"

Congratulations: You are the worst internet shopping experience I have had in 10yrs of online shopping. I have spent 10's of thousands online too.

I think most of their dozens of 5 star reviews on here are complete BS. Do not buy from these people. GONG SHOW!!Scammers. go google them and read the forums they are stacking their reputation here.



If I'm ever in Toronto I'll be sure to come by and say hi. BE READY.

This cost me probably over 10hrs of my time and over $100 to right their incompetence.

"I did refer to your e-mail and ended with Purolator charges (Purolator invoice send to you) because account you told me to used is not correct. There is not UPS in my town and Purolator provides service for UPS. Since Nov. 18,2011 you keep sending me e-mail, as response to my requests, that amount of approx. $53.00 will be deposit to my visa. It never happened.
Your first e-mail regarding returns:

Dear Jadranko,

This is to inform you that UPS will come by your location Monday 11/7/11, to pick up the incorrect item from you. The driver will have the return information for this warehouse. Please have it ready for pickup.

At the time of pickup, UPS will ask you for an account number. Please give them 510597.

" Ordering on line is very easy and when i got delivery it was quick. However, i did not receive what they said i ordered as they said it was not available. This was air filters for two different cars. The web site said they were available when i ordered them. The free shipping was for orders over $75 and my order that was accepted was over that amount. However, since they did not ship all the parts it was below and and they charged me shipping. Called and they told me a mistake and that it would take 5 business days to see it debited back. It is now 11 bus. days and nothing! The big thing to me was parts that the site said they had , were not there, something as simple as air filters."
