""Dear customers, you can come back now with confidence, the owner has changed and the new one is very professional!"? Don't believe a word of it. I ordered two DVDs more than two months ago from Ashfault's and they still have not arrived. Yes, the company responds to e-mails, but only after several days, and they are clearly form e-mails. They responded to none of my specific questions, and were in no way helpful. They are either crooks or utterly incompetent."
"Dear customers , you can come back now with confidence , the owner has changed and the new one is very professional ! She keeps you informed about the shipping delay and your emails is always answered in good time ( which was as you know very unusual with the previous owner ). Don't hesitate to use the " wish list " , I did , and she found what I was looking for. Haven't received it yet but I know it takes longer than the rest to get ready. At least I am being informed and I apreciate it. The rest of my orders was shipped quickly and very carefully packed . "
"STAY AWAY!!! This site is a scam - http://www.ashfaultsclassicmovies.com/. I ordered a DVD (Dear Ruth - 1947) on 9/3/2008 from ACM. It was the next day when I got that pit in the middle of my stomach telling me that something was wrong. I never received an acknowledgment email from ACM and that very same day, my credit card was charged. I started to Google their company and sure enough, several others had the same experience. I attempted to call ACM using the number they provided on their website. It was a non-working number. I then did a whois on their domain (ashfaultsclassicmovies.com) and see that the Administrator goes by the name "Katy Lynne". Also in the whois database was a different phone number for ACM. When I tried to call that phone number, it was a FAX machine. I sent a FAX to this number demanding a refund. The next day, a gentlemen called me indicating that he has received over 20 FAX message describing the same situation. It appears that ACM stole his phone number and used it to register the domain with Yahoo. I successfully disputed the charge to my bank card (credit card) and was credited back. The bank also canceled the card and sent me a new one. My goal will be to have this fraudulent site shut down. I've filled complaints with the Attorney General of Ohio, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Internet Crime Complaint Center."
