They Stole my Artwork

"I sent them my $2000 artwork to have it framed in their packaging that they sent me. I got FedEx confirmation that they received it, with signature verification and all, and they casually sent me an email stating that they "lost" my artwork and that they will refund the amount I paid to have the art framed.

What about my artwork? They said to send them a copy of my receipt and the COA of the artwork. I will never do that, as those are the two items they need to resell it for more money.

Beware! I have my attorney's handling this and it has been a total nightmare! I will never ever forget this and have posted my experience so help others avoid my experience.

Empty pockets

"HI,

I feel the artwork was good and the selection was fine. However, I think the shipping rates, more specifically the rush shipping rates are outrageous, especially, for the this day in age.

Absolutely Perfect!

"I ordered 2 pieces for my home office ... one framed and one mounted. Both arrived in perfect condition and the colors were exactly as they appeared online, which matched my office décor. I was nervous about ordering art online, but they turned out to be perfect and of high quality."

Great concept, terrible quality

"I made 2 purchases with art.com. Both purchases were sub par.

Purchase 1: Several of the staples that secure the print against the glass were in front of the print rather than behind the print. Also, the corners of the frame were not a clean tight fit and the unfinished wood showed through.

Purchase 2: Same staple issue and frame corner issue. This purchase was for 3 prints, same size, same matting, same frames. The 3rd print arrived with the wrong frame.

Nice Picture-VERY Late delivery

"When ordering it clearly said "ships in 24 hours" Apparently that means after Art.com receives the painting. The original holder has to ship it to them and then they ship it to me "within 24 hours" Took 4 weeks to get my print. Picture is lovely and what I wanted."

I had to fight to use the discount that they gave me!!

"Totally, not happy with Art.com. As I told the customer service representative, they made buying art un-fun. They didn't want to honor a discount code that they emailed me. They also wanted to charge me twice for shipping. They shipped the order out so fast, that they left out half of the posters, then they wanted to charge me a second shipping fee for their mistake...finally, after threatening to write a bad review, they honored the discount code and gave me a proper quote for shipping.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM ART.COM AGAIN...TO MANY ISSUES.
