"Order process was followed up at every step - I knew when my order was accepted, validated, staged, prepared for shipping, picked up by the shipping comapny, etc. No confusion about where my appliance order was at any given time!"

"The price is better than any other web sites. What I like is no sale tax and shipping free. You save some money right there. Delivery is excellent. I will buy again from AppliancesConnection. Highly recommended."

"Beware of reviews that rate this store (or any other stores) where profile and review were created on the same day and there's no other reviews after that. That could be an indication of employees or owner's family members basically inflating their store credibility, by creating profiles and giving rave reviews.

Okay, now onto my reviews. I ordered 4 appliances, which were all "in stock" or "available," on Friday night. I needed my appliances soon, so after not hearing anything, I called them on Tuesday.

I was told they'd be shipped at the end of the week from Los Angeles, which should just take a couple days I'm also in California. So I said fine. About an hour or so later, they created a ticket notifying that they're on back order and it would take 2 weeks to be in stock.

Here's their obscure definition of in stock/available:
"Items that are currently in-transit to our warehouse, are currently in-stock at a drop-ship vendor’s, or manufacturer's warehouse will be marked as "Available"."

Looks, if it's in stock or available, then it should mean you have the actual item to ship within 2 days. It's not complicated. If it'll take time, then it should be called, back order or available 1 - 2 weeks.

I asked if I can have the cook top expedited at least since I don't need the other 3 appliances right away but I do need cook top ASAP. They said, in order to do so, I would have to break up the order of 4 and reorder, and by doing so, I'd lose the discount. Also, I was told it would be shipped from New York, not LA as I was told.

Right there and then, I cancelled the order. It was just a bad experience and wasted my time.

Recap:
-- It made no sense that items were showing as in stock or available, when in reality they weren't.
-- It took them 2 days, 4 days if you count the weekend, to inform me they'd be shipped in estimated 2 weeks later. They only informed me because I called them first.
-- They couldn't accommodate me to ship my cook top first separately. They wanted me to go through cancel, reorder when the fault is theirs, not being able to reflect correct status on the site.

"AppliancesConnection shipped a downdraft vent in a broken box and the product was damaged. I did not receive it until a month after I ordered it. They would not take it back because I threw away the broken box. They wanted me to return it in the same box that it shipped in. When I told them I had to throw it out because it was broken they suggested that I sell the item on ebay. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY."

"We've being referred to AppliancesConnection site from a friend when remodeling our Kitchen. The site is well designed, was able to compare a number of appliances quickly and found all the appliances we were looking for, one stop shop. Items Quality & Prices are very good, on top of this we also got a “buy more save more” discount. Customer Service is very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this site to my friends."

"DO NOT USE THESE ROBBERS! When my plumber opened up the "new" garbage disposer for our kitchen remodel, he discovered that the box had been strapping-taped shut, inside was a disposer that had been installed, removed, and repackaged. In short, it was used. When I called Appliances Connection "customer service", I waited 30 minutes on hold (repeatedly sent to the end of the hold line) and then spoke to an abusive jerk who insisted that they never accepted returns on garbage disposers, so they weren't going to accept mine. When I suggested that the bad reviews I was going to post would cost more than the $149 of mine they had stolen, the jerk started ranting about lawyers and defamation of character. THERE IS NO SAVINGS IN BUYING FROM THESE JERKS."

"I purchased a dining table from this website. I waited a month to receive the product as I was not told that it was on back order when I placed the order. When it arrived, the base of the dining table was damaged. I contacted customer service to inform them. I was given several options which includes getting a replacement base for my dining table. As I did not want to be without a dining table any longer, I chose this option. However, before I made the decision, I was given the impression that I will not need to return the glass top. Since I planned to keep the table, I disposed of the huge box that came with the glass top but kept the box for the base in case they want me to return the defective product. Two weeks and many emails and phone calls later, I was told that the supplier does not ship just the base. I would need to return the whole dining table through RMA (return merchandise authorization) and schedule a pickup. When they receive it back, they would then place a replacement order for my replacement. This product ships from Massachusetts and I live in California. I estimate that this would take more than a month to complete the process. I called their customer service once again letting them know that I no longer have the glass top box and will not be able to ship it back. I also told them that I don't want to wait another month for a dining table that I had already paid for. I requested that they ship a replacement dining table first and I will use the box that came with the replacement table to ship the older table back. After speaking with the customer rep for at least 30 mins and was put on hold multiple times, I was all of a sudden told that the dining table is on back order! How convenient! BTW, the customer rep, Jason, was starting to yell while I kept my low tone voice. When I told him not to raise his voice at me, he accused me of yelling at him. WTF?! I was offered a partial refund, and I had no choice but to take it. If I still had all the boxes, I would have returned the product. I placed the order on 4/25, received the damaged table on 5/24, contacted customer service regarding defective product on 5/27, and closed the issue with a very disappointing result today, 6/11. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth!"

"On May 13th I placed an order for a KitchenAid stove (model KDRS505XSS), a Cavaliere hood/vent (model SV218D30 ) and an Electrolux Fridge (model EI23BC30KB). We also opted to get the "professional install" for the stove and the fridge. The stove was listed in stock and we assumed they would ship it. My credit card was charged the full amount on May 16th and I was sent a notification that the appliances would ship when the fridge arrived sometime in June. I requested to have the stove shipped separately and that I was willing to pay an extra charge if necessary to get it earlier. It required numerous exchanges and by May 28th the stove still had not shipped. Then my credit card was mysteriously credited $1557 and then debited $1739 (the price of the fridge) meaning that the fridge was now costing me an extra $182.

Finally the stove arrived on June 3rd. It's a gas stove and as listed on their web site, the "professional install" is supposed to hook up the gas. This was not done and I was left scrambling to get the stove hooked up so that I could cook dinner for my mother's birthday.

I've asked for a refund of the installation charge and was rebuffed by their customer service people. I've also asked for an explanation of the extra charges for the fridge and was told it was a mistake but I still have not been credited for the difference ($90).

I would never ever order from AppliancesConnection again. While their price was indeed much lower than anyone else, the added frustration and aggravation has not been worth it. I should have gone to someone local that I could trust."

"The site was easy to use and offered competitive pricing. Although I have not received the dish washer yet, the experience thus far has been very professional. I receive notices about the shipping status and the every change in status. Very professional company thus far."
