I got my order ten days later, BUT, the RAM 3 mic was defective. I contacted standard horizon to confirm, and they said they would replace it. And advised me to go thru anchorexpress.<br><br>A.E. Would not reimburse shipping cost, again citing what other companies would do...they also told me it would take longer as they would need to ship it back to Standard Horizon.<br><br>I contacted S.H. My order was process quickly and efficiently but when I received the shipment there was no documentation or mounting bracket with the pump. I sent an email stating my problem and dissatisfaction. Rose in customer service promptly sent me a nice email stating she had contacted the manufacturer who told her to have me call them directly. She provided all the appropriate contact information. The manufacturer was very prompt in sending out the missing pieces and the owner\u2019s manual. I was so pleased with the service and getting the problem solved (rare these days), I placed another order -- this time for Simrad auto-pilot system. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had all of the components in stock AND they would send them out that same day for next-day delivery. The cost of delivery (overnight, across country) was only $29 for five items (one shipping box) that weighed a total of 17 lbs. Not only are their prices the best I could find on the internet they clearly do not try to make it up in shipping and handling -- something I experienced elsewhere. With pricing and service like this I rate Anchor Express as one of the best suppliers out there. I highly recommend them. "Beware of these guys - I went on-line and ordered a Standard Horizon HX851 last night and it said "In Stock". I received an email that confirmed my order, but said - Pending Payment. I paid on my Credit Card ??
I called them this morning only to hear "Thats our software that says that", but "Your item is on back order for 2 - 3 Weeks" I asked why it it didn't say that when I ordered, and he said "Thats our Software" Are you for real ? How disappointing. I will pay more, but will buy from WestMarine, and wont get the runaround. Never buy from this Retailer again."
