Very happy with Amazon Prime
"Everything I order comes earlier than expected or exactly on time. Very satisfied with the quality of items and tracking and billing information that Amazon Provides"
Bought New Thermostat, Got Used - And Worse
"Review moved to Amazon.com"
Never had a problem with amazon that was not fixed immediately
"The majority of my orders came before the estimated time of delivery, and of the 3 mistakes out of somewhere approaching 100 orders all of them were refunded by the sellers."
"A Month won't get complete without a purchase on Amazon. Trusted and Highly reputed."
5 Days or More to Process Order
"Amazon.com sits on your order for days for items sold by Amazon and in stock (verified with reps). With or without Prime the experience is the same. I wish I didn't have to contact them several times for each order. Last order was placed on Aug 1 (in stock, sold by Amazon), today is Aug 6 and the order has not shipped out yet. Edit: Actual shipping method was faster than the one offered for my zipcode, but orders can remain in the warehouse/shipping-soon stage for quite a while (almost 2 weeks total for one order), which is an issue when you don't have Prime."
It was good when it started
"I used to love prime and preach about its fantastic slew of benefits to my friends but it seems Amazon is starting to test the waters by seeing just how little value they can provide and keep getting people to pay the $100 a year. Shipping speeds have slowed big time and customer support went straight to the crapper. No longer a good value or a good service."
Can live without it!
"Was hesitant about the yearly fee but you get a digital credit when choosing a delayed shipping method which you can put towards an ebook or movie and we love watching a good movie in our own home and also we live in a rural town with high prices and Amazon has saved us so much money that has way, way more than paid for Prime alone."
So far so good!
"I shop with them & if there are ever any issues the customer service is amazing! They really seem to care about retention & when things are valid they will solve the problem. As far as the T.V. "stuff", I haven't used it much but what I have found...some kinks could be ironed out like less interruptions & I thought I'd have more for viewing. Overall better than not having it when there isn't anything else on regular t.v.No order # & don't know the date."
"I had Amazon Prime for 5 years. When the price went up, I thought all the extras (not FREE as Amazon customer service calls it) might be worth it. We started to watch a series on Amazon Prime; the series had 3 seasons. The first 2 were great. When we got to the 3rd season - now we had to PAY $2.99 for each of 10 episodes. I called "customer service"; the rep gave me an amazing run around talking like a politician i.e., never answering my question of why I now had to pay for season 3. The supervisor was even better; his command of the English language was exceptional for a grade 5 student. This tells me the caliber of customer service reps at Amazon.I cancelled my prime on the spot; a matter of principal or "bait and pay". I did put up with shipping being 3-4 days at times but this type of action and the attitude of the reps has turned me off forever."
"Amazon's Instant Video streaming service constantly buffers but Netflix and Epix work perfectly, It's doubtful I will be renewing as their 2 days shipping service many times is 3 days or more, and as pointed out by another reviewer, they seem to jack up the prices to cover the postage, After dropping Prime, I'll be spending most of my money on Newegg (2day shipping free to my area) and Ebay purely based on price. And, when Prime has a great bargain, it is always expired when I try to take advantage of it. I recently purchased a Cisco RV325 router from Tiger Direct, got it the next day, for $204 and Amazon wanted $250 and now even more. Adios Prime."

"One of the best deals around. Free 2nd day air shipping on most items. Their prices are among the best around and sales tax is charged only in a few states. Amazon Prime also has its own video library available for free streaming to members. Amazon is simply the best online merchant out there, and if you're a frequent purchaser, Amazon Prime is a great extra value and pays for itself many times over."
"While 'regular' Amazon often has great prices, Amazon Prime items often seem to have upped the cost to cover 'free S&H'; this can be especially obvious when their own 'More Buying Choices' beat their base price. But their 'Prime' instant movies section is really bad, often not loading the film even after 10+ min of a black screen with little blue dots running around in a circle. And they offer just a part of their library with much of the best stuff missing. A check of Amazon in their "Instant Video" category shows Buster Keaton 20 of 'regular Amazon 60 offerings. Woody Allen 8 of 60 .For "Bernardo Bertolucci" Amazon offers, under Prime, 2 of their 8 titles Peter Lorry shows about 14 free under Prime ["M" is omitted!] of their 32 separate rental offerings. So if you're a selective film buff &/ put off when a desired service is "temporarily unavailable", I'm sorry but it's back to NetFlixxxxx."
