"NEWS FLASH: IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOO TO BE TRUE IT IS! I wanted to order a lens for my Nikon Camera. Their website had the best price $419.00. The High pressure guy talked me into another lens costing $750. Said he was the owner of the company. Try the lens, if I did not like it, send it back and they will exchange for the Nikon lens. Call back for return - same voice different name. He stated they are going out of business due to some fraud from the bank. If I wanted the Nikon lens, it would cost an additional $300. I returned the works and will battle it out with the credit card company. Honesty is not their first name. From the other reviews, caution is the operative word."
"Order was made through The Camera Pros but was sold to All Star Cameras by B&H. Both All Star and Camera Pros are located at one address.
Products arrived as ordered but I made a mistake in ordering a lens. Called to get a return authorization and explained I wanted a different lens and would they ship it and add to my card billing.
Returned lens and they received on 1/6/06. After repeated emails regarding the lens, credit to my account, or shipping of new lens, I have received no notification whatsoever during the month they have had the returned lens. Have filed a dispute with my credit card company and still awaiting the results.
I would NOT take a chance with ordering from either All Star or The Camera Pros or recommend them to anyone."
"I wish I had read the reviews for this store before I purchased. I experienced and fell for the high pressure tactics. They sent the wrong product. Unfortunately, we didn't discover it until after the 7 day policy for return (well 90 days). They have been unwilling to do anything, even though I offered to pay a restocking charge. So, somehow they are stying in business in spite of shady practices and poor customer service. This is the first on-line merchant I haqve ever had trouble with."
