"I had a new baby in March 2006 and from that on, I spent lots of money on buying alkaline batteries since many baby gears or toys require AA or C batteries. My baby spent lots of time in the bouncer, swing (both of them require 4 C batteries) during the first 3 months, I realized how expensive the batteries are. Even if I got alkaline batteries on sale at Target, 1 dollar per unit for C size, it is still expensive since the batteries are dead so quickly. After my baby turned 3 months old, I decided to start using rechargeable batteries for her gears and toys. I heard from a friend that I can save a lot by buying on line. Luckily I found all-battery.com and the reviews look good. I am so surprised to find that their price is much lower than store. I actually did search the recharable batteries at Target and Wal-Mart. Their selections were either not too much or the price is high. Besides the price, I am very impressive that they have a huge selection of all kinds of AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V batteries and specialty batteries as well (cell phone, portable device, camera, etc). Besides AA, AAA and C batteries, I also wanted to get a charger. All-battery.com also provides cheaper charger compared to retail store. I wasn't sure how many C or D batteries can the charger charge at the same time and sent an email to customer support. Here is the link of the charger I got. http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=7

And they replied me on the same day and confirmed the charger can charge 2 C or D at the same time! I was very happy with their service and then went ahead to place the order. The shipping was fast considering that they need to ship the products from California to northeast. I waited for more than 4 months to see if the battery is working well. I am very happy with the quality and glad that I saved lots of money on buying the alkaline batteries. I didn’t notice any any difference between them and the Energizer rechargeables I bought initially for my digital camera. My baby grows older now and I am not worried about replacing batteries for her toys. She can just play as long as she like in the activity center, interlainer and with all the electronic toys since we have the rechargeable batteries now. I would continue to buy rechargeable batteries from this store and would recommend this store to my friends since they have great prices, products and also services.

"Having quite a long time experience with rechargeables I have found that they tend to loose their long-life quality over time and recharge cycles, especially this being true with low-cost batteries. This is one of the reasons why I wasn't quick to review the Tenergy brand that allbattery sells - not until they had at least 20-30 cycles of charge. I used the 2600 mAh AA and 1000 mAh AAA batts found at http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=587&HS=1 for digicam, portable speakers, players and other more-or less power hungry devices (it’s a common knowledge that for low drain devices such as remotes alkalines are better for their capacity to retain charge for a longer time).
After using them for 5 months now I have to admit that I have been pretty happy with their life and reliability. They tend to have a long life (not just a good rating), and they even seem to have a better shelf-life than comparables. None of the pack developed any faults as of yet. If this is of any significance, I use a smart charger that does not overheat or overcharge which should also help the batts. Have not tested any chargers from all-battery and have no comments on those, however from the photos at least the cheapest of those seem to be the generic type most of the economy battery stores offer.
My verdict: With the price that is really good and competitive they have a pretty bright future, I would say, of course if they contain the good price/quality ratio.

"Speedy delivery. I was thinking the price was too good to be true, but the batteries seem to be as advertised and they arrived promptly. As a bonus, I managed to find a great package deal and a discount code via fatwallet.com

I'd buy from them again."

"I have ordered quite a few batteries from All-Battery, including AAA, AA, C, D, and 9V sizes. Overall, my experience has been extremely positive, and I would highly recommend ordering from All-Battery. Below are a few comments:
* Batteries are cheap and have high capacity. In fact, after some internet comparison shopping, they're by far the best battery deal I've found.
* Unlike some other reviewers, I've found their batteries to be standard sized so that they fit all of the uses I've wanted them for.
* Shipping is fast. Communication is great about receipt of order information, and notifaction of shipment.
* I once ordered way too many C batteries. When I called to return them, I was immediately connected to an actual person, who was helpful and courteous. Returning them was fast and easy, and my credit card was refunded in a reasonably prompt way. When I called to inquire about the refund after a couple days, the person I spoke with told me the exact day the refund would be forthcoming, and he was correct.
* My one suggestion for improvement is in the packaging. Most of the time, the batteries have come well-padded and packaged adequately. However, on a couple ocassions, they have been not padded at all -- I just ordered 5 D cells that had zero packaging around them at all -- they were just put in an unpadded manila envelope. We'll see if they work. I once had a 9V battery not work from them because (I think) of poor packaging. However, overall, the packaging has struck me as sufficient -- this has just been a single occurrence when they haven't worked.
* I also have purchased a battery charger from All-Battery, and thus far I've been pleased and impressed with it. This will be my 3rd rechargeable battery charger, but it seems like it's the most versatile, intelligent, and reaosnably fast.

My school also uses rechargeable batteries from them -- lots and lots and lots of batteries from them. They are used in our physics lab as well as in the tech department for cameras. Both departments have had a great track record with them. The tech support person told me that occasionally they will get a bad batch of batteries that don't hold a charge well, but that's the exception not the rule.
As I previously mentioned, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Oh, one word of advice: google for coupons, because you can almost always find coupons for free shipping."

"I have been using rechargeable batteries for many years. With two young children and lots of battery-powered toys, I found that I needed more batteries. One problem with nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries is that they "self discharge" fairly quickly. Depending on the brand, they can be 25% discharged within a few weeks, 50% discharged within a couple of months and fully discharged within half a year. Therefore, I have put a lot of time into researching "low discharge" NiMH batteries. Sanyo Eneloop are one of the most popular, but they typically cost about $3.00 per AA battery. As I was planning on buying at least a couple dozen batteries - I wanted to find something that works well and is inexpensive.

After doing some research on the Internet, I discovered All-Battery. Some reviews I read were favorable - while others were not as positive (particularly in regards to customer service). I placed an order through their eBay store (http://stores.ebay.com/All-Battery-Center) for 24 AA and 12 AAA "Tenergy Ready to Use (R2U)" batteries. Including shipping/handling the AA and AAA batteries each cost about $1.70 each - and both have a higher capacity than Sanyo Eneloop batteries. I also ordered one LED flashlight and two LED headlamps.

All the items were delivered just three days after ordering. There was a minor issue with one of the headlamps, but a replacement headlamp was immediately shipped out (and is working just great). I am extremely happy with the excellent service that I received, particularly with how a problem with the order was immediately resolved. My overall opinion is that although All-Battery may have had some customer service issues in the past, that they are working very hard to resolve them. Their high positive feedback score on eBay is a testament to this!

I did some extensive testing of the Tenergy R2U batteries. I tested some of the batteries right out of the package. They did not have much of a charge left in them. This is likely due to either: [1] not being fully charged at the factory when manufactured, and/or [2] sitting in a package for a long time (more than a year) so that some "self discharge" had occurred. I have a La Crosse BC-900 battery charger which is capable of testing the actual capacity of rechargeable batteries (by fully charging then discharging the battery). It also has a very useful refresh mode - which discharges and recharges up to 20 cycles or until rechargeable battery is refreshed to full capacity. New NiMH batteries greatly benefit from being refreshed to gain maximum charge capacity.

For example, Tenergy R2U AA batteries are rated at 2300 mAh. Initial test results for 4 R2U AA batteries were: 1943, 1930, 2020, 1159 (charging at 500 mA, discharging at 250 mA) for an average of 1763. The same 4 batteries after being refreshed three times were: 2340, 2310, 2200, 2290 (same charge/discharge current) for an average of 2285. This is very close to the rated capacity of 2300 mAh! I have at least six other brands of AA batteries that I have tested (rated from 2000 mAh to 2600 mAh). Most of these AA batteries have a actual capacity that is 10% to 15% lower than the advertised capacity.

Tenergy R2U AAA batteries are rated at 1000 mAh. Initial test results for 3 R2U AAA batteries Tenergy R2U AA batteries were: 787, 782, 813 (charging at 500 mA, discharging at 250 mA) for an average of 794. The same 3 batteries after being refreshed two times were: 834, 822, 848 (same charge/discharge current) for an average of 835. This is about 15% lower than the rated capacity of 1000 mAh ... however is still a good result when compared with other AAA NiMH batteries. I have at least three other brands of AAA batteries that I have tested (rated from 800 mAh to 1000 mAh). Most of these AAA batteries have a actual capacity that is 20% lower than the advertised capacity.

I haven't owned these R2U batteries long enough to thoroughly test the "slow discharge" capability ... perhaps I'll be able to update this review sometime in the future. :-) As for the flashlight and headlamps - I'm very happy with them. They are incredibly bright (compared to other LED flashlights that I have) and durable. In fact, I like them so much I just ordered some more!"

"This is my third order with this company and I am very pleased with their "Ready to Use" rechargeable batteries. These are batteries along the likes of eneloop batteries.

Delivery is not super fast but still acceptable.

9-30-10 Just received my 4th or 5th order from All-Battery today. They just get better and better. Great communication and very fast shipping."
