I received my 8 station battery charger today. Seven days from ordering to receipt is not bad. Right now I'm discharging some older batteries and will charge them to see if this charger is what it purports to be. I have 7 different chargers and not one of them holds up longer than 15-20 charges. So far, four have discharged and four are still discharging. Maybe I've finally found the "Holy Grail."

Since years I buy from all-battery.com because of a good product selection, very good prices, and very good quality. This time was probably the first time I received a product with a flaw, a battery charger with an impaired LC display. I requested an RMA and a day or two later I was promised a replacement unit free of charge. The flawed unit I should just discard. The replacement arrived a few days later - no problem.
To sum it up: The case was handled perfectly with excellent communication and execution. With that service I recommend all-battery without reservations at any time.

Got 24 of the R2U AA batteries. Ordered on the 17th, received on the 20th.
I know this company has had some bad press at various hot deals sites, but thought I'd go ahead and try anyways. Received the correct 2300mah batteries. So just a datapoint here, and my experience was positive.

I ordered two sets of "12 AA 2300mAh 12 AAA 1000mAh Ready To Use (R2U) Long Shelf Life Rechargeable Batteries with Compact Charger" (part number RTU-12AA/12AAA2822). The batteries arrived fine and appear to work.
However, none of the two chargers were in the package. I immediately contacted customer service via e-mail. No response, ever. I phoned a week later, and Lydia (customer service rep) told me that they had my e-mails on file, and saw that no one had replied.
In the same order, I ordered two "Protection Circuit Module (PCB) for 11.1V Li-Ion Battery Pack (3 cells with 6.5A limit) (item no. 320062)".
After connecting one according to its connection diagrams (and confirming with the S-8254A chip datasheet), and then connecting to my fully-charged 11.1V (nominal) 3-cell lithium-ion battery, my multimeter read ~0V across the P+ and P- terminals of the chips. I wired and then connected the second PCB, and it too failed to enable.
I sent several e-mails to customer service, filed an RMA and phoned customer service. Lydia del Real told me to talk to Kevin (technical), but I received his voice mail and it errored (didn't let me leave any message). Lydia then told me they would phone me back.
No one ever got back to me, by e-mail, phone, or otherwise. That was two months ago.
I am still trying to get in touch with them to follow through on getting my chargers and PCBs. When I phoned today, they told me they no longer had any record of my contact. Fortunately, I kept all my e-mails, including my RMA request. I also have recorded the telephone message where Lydia told me they would send me the chargers and phone me back.
Hopefully I can get my chargers and working PCBs, or a refund. Chances don't seem great, going by other reviews.

These guys have gotten some bad reviews for thier R2U ( ready to use ) batteries. I ordered a 24 pack of 2600 MaH AA batteries and an 8 pack of AAAs. I did not order them R2U. The order was shipped quickly and accurately. I got exactly what I ordered and got it quickly. I'll order from these guys again.

This is my third order with this company and I am very pleased with their "Ready to Use" rechargeable batteries. These are batteries along the likes of eneloop batteries.
Delivery is not super fast but still acceptable.

Looking at reviews from fellow members indicates that I'm not the only one who was scammed. I too ordered the 2300mAh R2U batteries but received 2600mAh regular batteries instead. No replies from my inquiry and request for RMA.

More than 4 months ago I received 24 AA and 12 AAA. I have chargine equipment that enables me to measure the actual battery capacity. Many of the AAAs were near or above their 1000mAh ratings, although some were approximately 800mAh. The AA batteries, however, are woefully over-rated. Their claimed capacityis 2600mAh. Many have capacities around 1600 mAh -- less than 2/3 their claimed rating. Finding the capacity of a battery requires at least 3 discharge-recharge cycles, so it is not a quick process, but my tests of better known brands indicates that they are usually slightly above their rated capacity. If you want to have high-capacity batteries, I suggest you buy a "name-brand" and stay away from all-battery.com.

All Battery is, so far, a disappointing on line retailer. I selected ordered a very basic and very specific AAA battery charger. All battery delivered a very different device that will not work for me.
I sent a comment email asking them to ship the correct device and provide return instructions for the wrong device they shipped. The web page said I'd get a response in 12 hours but nothing yet, four days later.
Yesterday (Jan 76th) I sent another email to suport@all-battery and have heard nothing yet.
This is not an expensive device and will not be a big loss other than inconvenience since it was needed for a business trip.

Just like others, I am very disappointed with All-Battery. I ordered the R2U AA 2300mAh batteries on 12-02-2008, but they sent me 2600mAh batteries instead. Their excuse was R2U were out of stock. Some of the other reviewers ordered at least 1 week before me and they had the same problem. But All-Battery continued listed they are still in stock on their web site. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE ON SALE AND IN STOCK.

I am very disappointed with All-Battery’s customer service.
To summarize the events:
I ordered the R2U AA 2300mAh batteries on 11-29-2008 when the items were in stock. The packing slip that came with the order indicated the R2U batteries were sent with the order however 2600mAh batteries were placed in the package instead.
I reported the error and was told that the R2U batteries are out of stock and to either keep the wrong batteries or wait until 01/31/2009 for an exchange. I responded by saying I did not want the wrong batteries/ to wait and requested instructions for return/refund. I am then told to return the wrong batteries at my cost and then a credit for shipping/items would be made.
These are my complaints regarding the above statements:
The purpose of a Packing Slip is to show what is placed in the package. Clearly this company lacks quality control because the packing slip shows the ordered batteries but wrong batteries were placed in the package. And now I learn they are out of stock of the correct batteries.
The suggestion that I accept the wrong batteries saves them any expense for their mistake, i.e., the cost of return for the wrong batteries and the cost for shipping the correct batteries. The R2U batteries are more expensive than the wrong ones sent and no offer was made to refund any price difference.
The suggestion that I wait until 01/31/09 for an exchange and to just hang onto but not use the wrong batteries is unconscionable. For a Company whose primary business is selling batteries, the inability to replenish normal stock for two months indicates a severe problem

Only buy from this company if you are willing to accept something that you did not order. They will do the old bait and switch and if and when you can actually get a response from them, they will tell you to send back the wrong items at your own expense.Terrible company!!!!!

On 11/30/08, I ordered a pack of 16 AA ready-to-use batteries and a travel charger from All-Battery. They sent me regular AA NiMh batteries and a different charger without any notification. After emailing the company they were reluctant to pay return shipping. Will never purchase anything from this store again.

I ordered 2300mah Ready To Use (R2U) batteries. They shipped 2600mah Ni-Mh regular batteries that have received extremely poor reviews on the web. I have seen other postings on SlickDeals that others have also received this intentional substition. This is bait and switch. Advertise new desirable batteries, then ship poorly rated batteries that no one wants. Unbelievable.
