It was in a retail box with a driver disk. The item appeared to be defective as it had a white reside around all the capacitors on the card. They told me this was normal and was probably flux. The card went out after 6 months. I got an RMA, packaged it in the original box as received with driver disk, and I paid to send it back. The resent the card saying it had tested fine. It was DOA! I called and got another RMA packaged it in the box as received with driver disk, and paid again to send it back. This time they said it was bad. They said they would make good on it. I received the card in a flimsy box with no driver disk. It is the same card with the white residue. I have a picture but nothing near the quality it was. I believe they sent me a refurbished card represented as a new card. They will not return my calls and have not returned my driver disk. Watch out for this merchant! I watched the prices for a week, and they seemed pretty stable around $250, so when AllStarshop offered the free shipping on the card I jumped.<br><br>Website was very easy to use, tracking was grand, they expedited my order so it was in the mail asap (although if I had to do it over again I would have paid a few extra bucks for a faster delivery service - waiting 5 days for the free ground service was painful).<br><br>Everything arrived perfectly and in working order. "Called at 11am PST to verify the video card I wanted was in stock and the lady on the phone said it was and if I got the order in before noon, it would ship the same day. Not two minutes after I put down the phone, I had ordered it online. Check the next day and it still hasn't shipped so I call again to find out what's going on; turns out the company is still shipping other orders so now, I would not receive the card by the end of the week. Now I paid an additional $20 for faster shipping because they couldn't process orders fast enough. Price on the card wasn't great and shipping is slow. Overall, I won't be going back. If Newegg can provide a decently-priced and quickly-shipped part, why can't Allstar?"
