"I bought 100 Princo 1X DVD-R and all have the same crack. This company is obviously wanting to steal money from the public consumer for selling defective media as non defective at the same price. All 100 discs have the cracks on them. It's not a question of do they work or don't they. It is the principle of letting the consumer know of the defects prior to ordering. I am a reseller, and how am I going to explain to someone the origin of the cracks? This means I'll have to replace every disc I send out with a crack in it if the consumer is dissatisfied. This is a terrible and un-honest and un American way to do business. Do yourself a favor and do not support this company. There are many other retailers selling this product without the defects at the same or better price. Contacting the BBB about this wopuld not seem like a bad idea. I recommend anyone who is fed up with this type of business practice, to report this company to the BBB and request an immediate refund. it's what I intend to do. Stay away from this seller."

"I too received the princos with a crack in the center ring. Since I only bought 25 pieces I doubt it would even be worth it to attempt to replace them. This was my first purchase with this company and it will likely be my last. The disks were well packaged and there is almost no way the cracks formed during shipping. That means the company is intentionally sending out cracked discs. The dvds seem to burn fine and I doubt the crack will cause any real problem, but I feel that they shouldn't be selling these things as though there is nothing wrong with them."
"Had a little touble with odering at first, there was a credit card issue, but that was resolved over the phone. Only dissappointment was the crack from the center of the disc (25pk Princo DVD-R), however the media burnt fine, though the life of these discs will be questionable."

"I purchased a 50 count of Princo DVD-R media for $41.50 + $8.51 shipping. I just started using them and I discovered that every piece in the whole package has a small crack in the dvd plastic coming out of the center hole. Their return policy does not accept a partial return of items since I opened the package and started using them and also, even if they would accept the return, their policy is I must eat the shipping to return the merchandise. If it is $8.51 each way, I'll have $17 invested in shipping on these. It is no longer the deal it seemed to be initially. The discs work, but I'm afraid the crack will grow longer out from the hole into the meat of the disc. Maybe they get factory "seconds" and that is how their price is low."

"I have ordered from allmediaoutlet several times in the past. In general, I was very satisfied with the overall service and products...especially when reading about the other "low price retailers" on pricewatch.I live in norcal, so orders arrived within 3 business days (including saturdays)....apparently, fedex delivers on saturdays, unlike UPS, so actually one of my orders arrived earlier than planned.first order placed for 100 1X Princos...they were the cheapest at the time. the items arrived very quickly, as stated above. the package arrived in good condition...good box and lots of bubblewrap. in general, the media was good...again, cheap media not the fault of the retailer. there were some discs that had problems on my dvd player (pioneer dv333) towards the end, but i reburned it with same batch of media and had no problems...so i suspect random defects with the media. i discovered about 3 discs with that problem.second order placed for exact same item...however, i was sent generic white-topped DVD-R instead of Princo labeled DVD-R. however, i highly doubt the quality was very much different, as Princo is basically generic brand quality anyways. fast shipping and good packaging again.third time ordered 50 4X Xtreme DVD-Rs....this was best experience...again fast shipping and good packaging. however, the cakebox was shrink wrapped, so no dust as able to get inside the cakebox, which was very good. the previous orders, the cakebox was not shrink wrapped, so i had to wipe off the dust everytime i burned.btw....i have pioneer A04 DVD-R/W.after reading reviews on the other cheap media retailers on pricewatch (~ 1-2 rating)...allmediaoutlet will be my default place to shop for DVD-R media.edit: i forgot to mention for anyone who doesn't now....apparently, allmediaoutlet has different prices and shipping for the same items depending on if you went to the website directly or was linked from pricewatch. always goto www.pricewatch.com and use the allmediaoutlet link there...as you will usually get the same items for cheaper price and free shipping."
