"Aliexpress is a good platform, but you got to beware some very bad sellers. This was the worst buy online ever, this Shenzhen Eternal Technology Co., Ltd. seller is a biggest liar, before I ordered this tablet I ask many times if it will get to me in time, because it was present for my girlfriend's birthday, dumb girl name Anya assured me that it will, I got the tablet week and a half after date they promised. Boxes was open before, wrong tablet sleeve, then I find out that it was something under screen, little piece of something that was around 12 pixels that was just black on the screen. I was so disappointed, After MONTH of trying resolve this issue with them, I finally escalated dispute to a Aliexpress who helped, i shipped everything back, Eternal promised to reimburse shipping, but at the end they didn't give me anything, I lost $65 on a shipping , and I glad that Aliexpress refunded my money. "USING ALIEXPRESS YOU ARE TAKING HUGE RISKS.The transaction date of my order was 03/12/2013. Got order confirmation same day and seller processed the order in 2 days. With seller promised Delivery Time:15-26 Days, the item should arrive within 04/10/2013. With no Item received till 04/29/2013, and tracking# trail lost, emailed the seller asking him for a full refund if not delivered within60 days.. Sellers advised me ,” please be more patient. please do not worry about it, if it is lost on the way, we can resend you a new one.now just let's wait and see, ok?”. The seller objective was to keep me inactive for an INDEFINITE period of time, while less than 2 weeks left, to dispute my credit card. With no order received and unsuccessful negotiation with seller to get a refund tried to open dispute with aliexpress and received Error Message. Only a dispute with my credit Card solved the PROBLEM.Seller has Contractual Obligation with Aliexpress. Aliexpress has Contractual Obligation with the Credit Card Bank. Credit Card Bank has Contractual Obligations with consumer, based on Credit Card Consumer protection ACT. If anything goes wrong and consumer stays inactive beyond 60 days, then everybody will be off the hook, and the Consumer WILL RUN OUT OF LUCK. While the seller will get the money, the Consumer will Get Nothing, or a Different Inferior Product, or a Fake Product. "

"Firstly, Aliexpress is an intermediary they do not sell products themselves. As such, your experience depends on the seller you work with.I have made 7 orders from 7 different suppliers. Two of the orders were complete frauds, and both of those were electronics. Lesson: Avoid purchasing electronics from a supplier that has any rating less than a thousand and know how to detect fakes. For flash drives I use h2testw. For anything else (even flash drives), find out how to beforehand how to find fakes using Google.4 of the orders were specialty socks and wallets.Lesson: You will likely pay about a quarter to an eighth of what you would in the US, but the products will likely be slightly lower quality than the US version but still very usable.Order 7, 128GB USB 3.0 flash drive.Lesson: sticking with suppliers with better reputation pays off. The product was as advertised AND about 20% cheaper than its Amazon equivalent.Other considerations:1) Do your research on the supplier you're about to purchase from. Look at reviews for the store, and for the product as well. Look for a comparable item on Amazon, if comparable items are few and far between on Amazon, be very suspicious. Poorly reviewed sellers and products are a bad sign. Be very careful to read the reviews though as a lot of people will give a positive review for a fake product for which they received a refund2)Avoid buying un-reviewed products. Or products that have fewer than ten reviews and for goodness sake avoid un-reviewed suppliers.3)If you get a fake product. Remain calm and polite with the store that sold it to you. It makes getting a refund much smoother and easier. Also, be willing to take a slight loss on fake products to get most of your money back rather than have the dispute go on forever so you never get your money back.4)Never order more than one item to start off. Then, before ordering a second one, test the first item thoroughly.If you follow all my advice and seek the advice of others who tell how to avoid fraud, you should have a very good experience overall. "There are a few manufacturers on aliexpress.com that are legit however, that is not the problem. Overall I have had many good transactions. The problem is that the website does not give you the direct contact info of the company, only an email address which is run through the store on their website. If companies screw you over, they can just close their store and reopen a different one! No refund, no bad reviews..there is nothing you can do except kiss the money you spent goodbye. If you want to order a shirt or two, chances are you won't be screwed. BUT DON"T ever order wholesale---either the companies will screw up the order somehow (because communication is definitely a barrier) or they will just not deliver it at all. And because they already have the money in their hands, the last thing that they will do is refund you!And the most f*cked up thing about it is that you can't even contact aliexpress.com because there is not customer service or hotline that you can call to help. It is all automated answers. Perfect."
"Avoid at all cost. Their customer service department is a joke. You can escalate a dispute all you want only to finally realize they must have an "ignore customer" button somewhere. I tried them a few times and never ever again. Nothing but frustrations. The last straw came when I ordered two items for my daughters birthday. One item AlieExpress cancelled out of the blue because the seller just did not ship. Have no idea why because the item is still listed. The other item never showed up for weeks and than all of a sudden I get an email that it came back to the merchant and that they re-shipped. By that time her birthday was long over and they should have informed me that they received it back and given me the option to cancel. Two items for my daughter and she received neither. I rather use amazon and pay a little bit more. Saving a few pennies is just not worth the aggravation. Avoid, avoid, avoid. The stuff that did come was crap."

"Never, NEVER buy something from this shop. I have a long experience with another China seller (well known and also with free delivery) so I can compare. I placed an order to Ali Express 3 months ago. After two months (!!!) 2 from 3 items came. But one, most expensive, is still missing. The tracking number is even doesn't exist. The seller initially responded me with "please wait" but now it stopped answered at all. I wrote a complain to AliExpress couple of WEEKS ago but still have no answer at all. If the same would happened with DX for instance, I would already have thousand excuses and money back. But here, at AliExpress - I got no order and no money."
"You get what you pay for sometimes. Sometimes you get nothin'. I have had about 10 transactions with merchants on Aliexpress.com and about half ended in dispute. cheap prices usual equal cheap quality, but this was the first time i did not receive anything. I waited extra time (a total of 90 days before filing a claim) Aliexpress.com was yet to contact me in the month since i filed the claim. I do not expect i will get anything but screwed on this deal. The friends i have introduced to aliexpress.com have had similar experiences and will no longer purchase from them - hassle and everything involved, it really doesn't save you that much in the long run. good luck if you try it though."
