"I very truely love these guys. I routinely find great deals on hard to obtain parts that are far below markup. Normally I would go to my NBS (Neighborhood bike shop) but with a tight work schedule I do not have time to shop around after hours, so I buy from these guys. They have a great variety of single speed / fixed gear bike parts that I've had trouble finding without a 10% markup. My only gripe is that shipping takes so long, however I choose the cheapest shipping method so yeah... Either way, love these guys. Ride fixed, live free!"

"The information on their products they sell was very complete and informative, helping me make accurate comparisons of comparable products. Alfred E Bike was also the most competitively priced of other sellers for the bivy sack I purchased and, with free shipping included, it was a tremendous value. The product was shipped promptly and, so far, I am extremely satisfied with their products and service."

"Nearly every part on my current build was ordered through AEBike, spanning at least 5 different orders over the past 2 years. I've probably returned 5-10 parts over this period as well. They've always been just awesome to work with.

Basically I would say they have great service, reasonable prices, and really knowledgeable people who always answer the phone in person. Once, I needed an unlisted dimension of a part taken and they were happy to take this measurement for me quickly and accurately.

The last time I called, I was going to return a part distributed through QBP in Minnesota. The staff member told me I may want to consider going to my local bike shop (also in Minnesota), because they could probably have it to me faster than AEBike. This honesty (plus the fact that prices are still often lower at AEBike than a special order from my bike shop) really make me a loyal customer.

Sure, you'll want to go to your LBS for repairs, special orders of rare parts, complete bicycles and custom jobs, expertise and advice, etc., but when you know what you're doing and just want the parts, AEBike is definitely your place."

"The next best thing to your neighborhood bike shop. If I need quality parts for a seriously good price I always go to AEBikes. They even have track/fixed gear parts that are way cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. Keep it up guys, you're doing great things (for my wallet!)"

"The item was in good shape and cheaper than anywhere else, and they had free shipping, but expect to wait a week for them to ship your package out. I placed my order at about 2:20PM on thursday, and my small package didn't ship out until Tuesday of the next week. It amazingly got there by Thursday, so overall it wasn't bad; however, I almost pulled all my hair out over the weekend thinking some little company had taken my money and run. In the future they should make it known when they're going to ship out an item."

"I love the products and the selection. When you can't find it anywhere else, aebike almost always has it. A great resource for any bike lover. The one negative is turn-around time. Figure at least 10 days from time of order to time of delivery."

"This place had the best price for a Timbuk2 camera bag that I had been looking at for a few days and I ordered it with no problems. Shipping was free and I received the camera bag only a few days after I ordered it. Will definitely use this website again and would recommend to others!"

"Nice site, great selection, good prices, friendly email response but shipping costs to Canada is nuts! I ordered two Shimano chains and four cones totaling $100 US and they wanted $46 US USPS to ship to Canada. What? I've ordered from many US bike stores over the years and shipping to Canada using USPS was never over $28 US, not even on much larger orders. Seeing I had just ordered bike parts from the UK and paid $7 CAD Royal Mail for a similar sized order I told them and they agreed to lower shipping costs to $20. So they wanted $26 for handling??? Anyways I got the items I ordered. I will consider ordering from them again depending on shipping costs."
